I don't know if someone else made the comparison, but the story from the spirits is very reminiscent of the story from Dragonball Fighterz, which was published by bandai namco. I know that development was shared with bandai namco for smash, but Nintendo definitely went overload with the concept.

Pretty Epic... the music was thumpin, the crowds were roaring, the presentation of this game is so amazing. Really top notch stuff right here.

I could tell right away it wasn’t a port. From the loading screens to the character design, I love the Zelda character model btw. You can tell a lot of Work went into this. I feel bad for Sakurai, he deserves a vacation and to work on something new. You could tell Mario kart 8 delux was a port, because it looked and felt very similar. You can tell right away that the new smash isn’t a port.

@Rhaoulos Jet Force Gemini was my favorite N64 game... never beat it because of the grind fest at the end...

Am I the only one who thinks the Low Res makes everything a little more real.. haha When everything is so crispy and shiny it looks fake to me

@Crono1973 There's not much difference, one would argue you couldn't play any games without a $30+ memory card.

I already invested on a 128GB, not too expensive either. It's not like the idea is that far out, then again. I come from the era of buying extra memory cards for everything

@SLIGEACH_EIRE So if you love the WiiU so much then that shouldn't be a problem right? The Switch is what the WiiU should have been from the start. It brings the best mobile device for playing games period. If developers don't want to develop for it, then so be it! Me personally.. I don't want ports for the Switch, I want games made for the Switch.. To take advantage of ability to play with multiple systems wireless. I want to go to work, and if three of my friends want to battle some poo afterwards, I have the ability to do that. The Switch is not a paperweight, it has very vast potential.

@Yasaal At the end of the day, FPS and Resolution doesn't sell consoles... The games do. So maybe you should just concentrate on that like Nintendo is doing. So far it's been working because Nintendo has had one of the best console launches in a long time and if you also haven't noticed, since it seems you don't notice much, the Switch has been sold out since it's release.

Some people don't deserve nice things... They don't know how to take care of nice things... leave their console in the sun all day in 100 degree weather... Have large clumsy hands and tend to force things with no care, this is what happens... My Iphone screen broke!! I want a new one, but failed to mention it was dropped 100 times before then.

Reminds me of the time I saved up all my money and bought a Nintendo Gamecube and Smash Bros, my mother took away Smash until Christmas she said, even though I bought the system and game with my own money. So I sat there, day after day just turning the Gamecube on listening and watching the start up screen for a couple months until christmas....

Just a quick side note for Metal Slug 3, took me a while to figure it out, but if you want to play two players with the Joy Cons, you need to first configure the joy cons to be separate controllers in the Controller options screen on the Switch First before you open the game. There is no options within the game to change between two players with separate Joy cons.

I just bought Metal Slug 3 this morning and noticed it looked super washed out, and the lag from the sound was really apparent.

I really like the momentum that Nintendo has this console release... You had Initial announcement, TV guest appearances, The Game Awards, Super Bowl, Switch Releases and then we get E3 then the holiday launches... this is looking quite good

I have a question, I am already assuming that there is no way to get analog sound out of the switch other than the Audio port on the unit itself. I still use a CRT tv that has a DV-I input. With my Wii U I have a HDMI to DVI and then use the sound from the analog cable through the WiiU's interntal routing. From looking at the Dock itself, there is no other Audio output besides the HDMI. My question, is there any way to get analog sound from the Switch in Docked mode. Or do I have to buy a converter that Converts HDMI audio to analog.

@emperor_ing There is a racing sim on PS, PS2, PS3, PS4, XBOX, XBOX360 and XBOX1... Why not the switch?

I honestly think that EA sees the potential of the Switch, and they will utilize the system's strengths. I think the game will be custom built for the Switch, it will look beautiful and I will own my friends when I take my Switch to work. DON'T LET ME DOWN EA, WE NEED A GOOD VERSION OF FIFA!

I don't want my switch to be a port machine of old games.... I want developers to make games from scratch on it. New games please.

@olrodlegacy Did you have the digital copy or physical? I have two physical copies, and they both crash about 10 minutes into a game.

First, "ohh the FPS are terrible on the WiiU Zelda, it will be better on the Switch". Now it's, oh I can get the same game on my WiiU, why buy it for the Switch. I was satisfied with my WiiU, and I will be satisfied with my Switch, WELCOME back LAN Parties. Pre-Ordered my Switch.

The WiiU Fifa was a port of the PS3/Xbox360 Build and it was absolute trash. I bought two copies of the game because I thought the first one was defective, and actually both copies were defective, they would crash mid game, everytime. UNPLAYABLE.... this FIFA better not be a port of PS3/Xbox360

people who are saying this video has no charm are quite mistaken. The environment is fantastic with lots of detail and charm.

@Agent721 I am actually really excited for the new Zelda. The art direction is exactly where I wanted it to go. Wind Waker and A Link to the Past are my favorite Zelda's along with the original and I think this new iteration is going to borrow a lot of ideas from those games along with the physic based open world, just gorgeous. I think the world will be plenty filled with people and things to do, even Nintendo said they took out all the NPC and towns in the E3 demo, so I am sure there will be lots.
From watching videos on peoples perspectives, it's really interesting the connections they are making. My only grip, if any at all is I hope that the music really builds up, I was hoping for full orchestrated soundtrack, but that's prop not the case.

@therealgamer Real gamers don't hate Nintendo. Only mainstream gamers do, or they don't really hate nintendo, they just listen to mainstream people who claim Nintendo sucks and don't give them a chance. Personally, the WiiU has some of the best iterations of Nintendo's classics and a few new ones.

@Ninten-san Slpatoon and the new Legend of Zelda are pretty groundbreaking. Mario3D world is the first 3D isometric with 4 players and better than Galaxy imo and there is no Denying that Smash4 is a on a league of it's own. WiiU's library is some of the best that Nintendo has put out, popularity does not equal good, just remember that.

I grew up watching the TV series on HBO as a kid, but got into the Comic later. It seems that TakeTwo only invests in Nintendo when they do huge numbers. DS, Wii... Lets hope that Nintendo's marketing does a better job at selling the NX and Nintendo's Future endeavors, the WiiU is a great system. I think with Nintendo branching out to mobile, getting into licensing it's IP and movies they are going to be in the public's eye a lot more. Btw, Miitomo can be quirky fun, especially when people use it in funny ways, but the "end game" of the app isn't there.. so you get bored easily.

@therealgamer I have no problem with 3rd party games not being on Nintendo Systems, because I like many others don't buy Nintendo systems for them. So personally I don't care if they have a Dev Kit or not. I would love a developer who wants to make games from scratch on the NX and utilize the system, something that no one did for the WiiU besides Ubi, it is a shame too. I really enjoyed Nintendo Land, and wish Nintendo made some DLC for it or made another one. Donkey Kong Crash course needs some more courses!!
