@Not_Soos They were a pretty big chain here in Northern Indiana. Way cleaner and more organized, than Blockbuster during their heyday. Always had a great selection of games. The ones by me closed the end of last year. Sorry to see the rest close, but it was probably inevitable.
I was just playing the first one on my 3DS the other day. I forgot how hard it was. I didn't know there was a second one released? Depending on the price, I'll check it out.
I have this for Gamecube, and maybe it was just the time when it came out, but I totally blocked out of my memory how bad this game controls. I played a bit on Friday, and I turned it off because I was so frustrated. Even though I know Galaxy is much better, I'm kinda just turned off from picking this game up again.
I've had every Nintendo console/handheld since the NES. If I think about it, I think I've spent more time playing the 3DS (since launch - today) than any other Nintendo system (maybe other than the NES.) It's the best handheld system of all time. It has one of the best back catalogs of any system. It was also the best "social" system ever made. I took it everywhere. Pre-COVID, I went to a lot of comic cons a year, and I would always take it with me hoping to get some of the missing states (countries/territories) I was missing on street pass. Street Pass was on of my favorite things about the system. Thank you 3DS, for all the great memories, but I'm not done with you yet!
First Mass Effect game I played was Mass Effect 3 on WiiU (there wasn't much else to get) and I loved it so much, I went and purchased all three of them for my PS3. I love these 3 games so much. Enough time has passed I'd love to play them again on the Switch. Hope this gets announced tomorrow.
Sunshine. Even though I own it for Gamecube, I never completed it. I honestly don't remember much of the game. I love Galaxy, but I beat that fairly recently, and I just don't think 64 holds up well.
I do miss the days of "calling in sick" to go stand out in freezing temperatures, and hoping I was in line early enough to get the Best Buy Meta Knight exclusive, because a cousin of a friend who's uncle works at Best Buy said they were only getting 6. haha. I think Mega Yawn Yoshi was the last amiibo where there was actually a long line for. Since then they've pretty much been super easy to get online. I love the ease of it now, but I do miss those days.
Only thing I missed was Nintendo's E3 Direct. I've grown so sick of the cringey stage shows and awkward presentations and watching people play on stage. Give me a nicely produced/tight 45min edited presentation anytime.
@RustedHero I was thinking the same thing. Those guys are pretty diehard gamers, and that game looks bad. They just proved they're pretty good actors. lol
I've downloaded a hand full of their releases over the years, and they do a great job! I've also love to see some kind of physical collection of all the games.
If PETA were so against this in the game, they wouldn't have all just paid $60 for the game. So, Nintendo wins. That being said, that was a funny site seeing people "storm" the museum. Poor Blathers had no idea what was going on. hahaha
I loved Rygar as kid. One of the first games I finished. I remember staying up all night playing this, and putting a blanket down at the bottom of my door so my parents wouldn't see a the light from the TV coming through when I should've been asleep. haha.
@Dezzy Exactly! I'm still on the final boss (not sure which version?) and it's so frustrating! I picked up Bravely Second, but I wanted to beat Bravely Default first before I started. I've yet to start it. lol
I woke up at 5am today, and went fishing, AND I CAUGHT A FISH!! I chopped down a tree, AND I JUST GOT WOOD!! Needless to say, I'm so glad that Bunny Day is in the books, and I hope it isn't as annoying next year. Now I'm off to unload all my unwanted egg crap to Timmy and Tommy. If I could throw it all in my bonfire, I would.
This is a win for Gamestop if for nothing else great PR. Which they need. I don't think Reggie would've gone there if he didn't think he could help turn the company around. He's got a pretty great track record of doing that. I hope he can help Gamestop turn it around and make it a viable option to buy games from again.
@MoonKnight7 I totally agree with you as well. While I did enjoy the WiiU, the 3DS was my go to system during that era. I played way more Smash on 3DS than I did on the WiiU. And I still take it with me when I go on trips hoping to get some Street Passes. haha. I really with Switch would have Street Pass on it. It was such a neat little add on to the system.
I just ordered a True Blue mini, but I canceled it as soon as I saw this hack was ready. It's incredibly easy to do. I just wish someone could patch it so TNMT Hyperstone would work on it.

I had no idea Crackle was still around? I haven't thought about that app in years. Good for them on getting the doc!
Re: Square Enix Reports Increased Annual Sales, Despite Individual Game Losses
Um, I would gladly pay for DQ X here in the US. I'm sure I'm not alone. Seems like they're leaving money on the table by not offering it to the west.

@jikflet Good info! Thanks! I may actually try to go find a cheap copy of the WiiU version of it now. haha.

@Kirgo Thanks!
Re: Pikmin 3 Deluxe Officially Announced For Switch, Includes All DLC And New Content
I've never played a Pikmin game, even though I have all the systems the originals came out for. Is this a good first one to try?
