As a kid, I drawn to cover art on boxes. I bought so many games because the cover art was awesome, but the game was a dub. Mega Man 1 was the total opposite. I remember looking at the front cover and not really thinking much of it, but was totally surprised that the game was great.

At my peak I had over 80 NES games as a kid. Then my mom "talked" me into selling a majority of them at a garage sale. I haven't talked to her since I was 13. lol

@OakOtter Yeah, I know Bravely Second isn't the "real" sequel now, but I feel like I should play that first before I play Default 2? lol

Bravely 1's final battle is so infuriating (I'm still stuck on it) that it's deterred me from picking this up. I have Bravely Second too, but I've never started it, mainly because of the impossible final battle in 1. I will probably pick this up in time, but it'll probably sit on my shelf for awhile before I start playing it.

It's been so long since I've played these that I'm actually excited on playing them again. I'm more excited to play these again, than GTAV on the PS5. aka the NEW Skyrim.

I'm very interested in this. I have the C64 mini, and after some modding, it's a super fun system. I never played any Amiga games as a kid, but the games included on this are already better than what were included on the C64.

I wanted one as a kid, and I still want one. haha

I have all of Jeremy's previous "Works" books, and they're great! I can't wait for these to be released. Huge fan of his Youtube videos and the Retronauts podcast.

I LOVED (still do) Street Pass. I would take my 3DS to every comic con I would go to, and I almost completed the all the U.S. states and Canadian provinces, and I got a few counties from England, and even a few prefectures from Japan. If (when) they do a proper Switch Pro (or whatever the next console is) I hope they bring Street Pass back. Till then, I'll keep taking my 3ds with me hoping to get the rare random hit.

Maybe this will be out by the time the "real" Switch Pro comes out? But seriously, I can't wait to play whatever this game turns out to be.

Well, if you couldn't snag a copy of "Mario 3D All Stars" before Nintendo pulled it from the shelves, might as well go out and buy the next best thing.

I remember seeing Other M being demoed at the Chicago Comic Con before it came out. I thought it looked amazing (especially on the Wii), and I couldn't wait for it to come out. Then when it did, and I saw some more reviews and more gameplay, I passed. I still haven't played it, and I'd love if this got a remake in the future.

Why do I have a feeling they'll announce the "Really New" Switch next year? That's actually more powerful.

I've been replaying 1 & 2 on my PS1 to re-familiarize myself with them, and I can't wait for this to be delivered this weekend. I loved those two games when they came out, and they hold up today.

I have so many many good memories of playing Goldeneye and Mario Kart and getting drunk off my ass with my friends during this time. I do think it's the one system that has aged the worst, and going back to play some of these games now is rough. That being said, it holds a nice place in my nostalgic gamer heart. I do hope they release an N64 mini someday though. It deserves it.

@Zuljaras I just recently went back and played Faxandu, and it's highly underrated.

Metroid is my second favorite Nintendo franchise, but I had no idea that all the 2d games were part of the same story. I had no idea that there was one big story. I guess I need to replay them and see what the story is?

I just want an amiibo of that boss now.

@Ulysses Hopefully whatever the "Switch Pro" will be, it'll run it. There are some franchises I just won't play on anything but a Nintendo system. DQ is one of these franchises. So I hope the wait won't be too long.

I've played them all except for X. My top 3 are, XI, IX, IV.

I have all these, and even though I loved Kid Icarus on the NES, the 3DS version is hands down the way to play this game. Can we all just agree that the 3DS is the greatest handheld system of all time? lol

I loved Red Alert, even though I had no idea where I was going. haha. Wario Land was great, and I really liked Nester's Funky Bowling and Mario Tennis too. I still play my VB from time to time. It's a misunderstood console.

My favorite franchise. I'd love to see DQ 4-6 come to Switch in a compilation pack like they did for 1-3. Or maybe make DQ10 playable in the States and Europe?

A local used video game store near me sells out of WiiU's whenever they get them in. Too bad they didn't sell like that when they were new.

I loved Bravely Default until the final boss. I still haven't defeated him. It's the most frustrating final boss I've ever encountered.

I was thinking about getting this for PS4, but I'll wait for Switch. I loved these games on PS1. I played the crap out of them. Does this remastered version have the same soundtracks as the originals or new music?

I hate myself enough that I will probably buy this. This series holds a soft spot in my heart even though it's ripped it out many, many, many times. lol

I got this game at launch, and played about 10hrs into it. I really liked it, but I got distracted with other games and haven't picked it up since. I really just need to take a vacation, and spend a whole week just playing it.

I've never felt the need to buy extra joy cons. I still have a launch Switch, and still haven't had any drift (knock on wood), but I will be purchasing these beauties. I'm more excited about the joy cons than the game.
