Wales Interactive has shared a new cinematic trailer for its latest FMV game, Bloodshore. Oh, and we've also got a confirmed release date, too.
The game will be blasting onto Switch on 3rd November, with players watching a group of influencers, death row inmates and failing celebrities compete for a life-changing cash prize. As we pointed out when the game was first announced for Switch, it's all very Hunger Games meets Twitch...
It features eight hours of FMV footage in total, which Wales Interactive claims is the most of "any video game" to date, and your decisions impact how the scenes play out. There are several paths and outcomes to discover, and relationships are tracked throughout, influencing how the story progresses.
Are you a fan of FMV games? Will this be going on your Switch wishlist? Make up your mind in the comments below.

Also they stole that name from FFXIV so there had better be moogles in this.
Looks campy.
In a good way.
I feel like I could love this, but it all depends on the execution. Could be gripping, or could be extremely tacky. I hope it turns out good!
The Sega CD's legacy lives on. Of course I'm not the biggest fan of FMV games but if they did something creative with the footage that would be cool. So far the three FMV games that are kinda good are The Faces of Evil, Dragon's Lair, and Night Trap.
Screw Tish I want to save Fish!
Battle Royale FMV? Interesting.
Might get for a laugh with friends over to watch n join in once it's on sale for a few quid.
Battle Royale is the true original! Everything else is just a rip-off.
The Squid Game is epic, though.
Anyways...this looks like a fun romp.
@lord have you seen this?
Man these fmv games are awful. I kinda like them due to the extreme levels of cheese and having zero right to be interactive. Super Seducer will always be the best.
FMV games are too big (and too short) to justify wasting microSD card space on them. I’ll hold out for a physical release on Switch and/or DRM-free on PC. 10.5GB is also really small for 8+ hours of HD footage.
I’m also disappointed that Late Shift was issued a PS4 release by LRG, but still nothing on a Switch release. I caved and bought it on PC. I enjoyed it (as corny as it is) but the non-skippable scenes kill any incentive to attempt to unlock multiple paths/endings. Previously watched scenes should at least be able to be skipped or played in fast motion.
It's literally Interactive movie. I hope it is fun.
So.. The Hunger Games, the game.
Probably better as a tv interactive than as a game.
Should be on netflix like bandersnatch rather than a costly switch game.
I do like their games. I'll probably check it out in the future.
I never thought FMV Games would be a thing again after all the attempts made by Digital Pictures back in the 90's. Oh I'm not saying it's bad because I own Night Trap and I want Corpse Killer, Double Switch and Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. I'll check it out once it gets a physical release.
This looks like the trailer for The Asylum's next mockbuster.
@MetalMan By saving Tish, you get some fish...
@JustMonika not for switch yet but try late shift. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
These things kind of amuse me, and this one looks pretty good.
@Strictlystyles Late Shift is on Switch and yes, it's pretty good.
