@Gs69 - Solo and local multi play super smooth, but online has a bit of lag. Not a big deal though, just hit the buttons sooner. It’s not game breaking by any means. This one should be super smooth with rollback.

@BlackMayge - Happy Saturday, cheers. You really nailed it. The beautiful thing about the modern spin on the genre is how well it mixes with elements of other genres so that all the top tier beat em ups available on Switch feel unique. This one offers a pure arcade experience, for better and worse, focused on speed, animations galore, and things happening on screen. I guess mileage will vary, but it does what it set out to do as well as any other great bmup available right now. Have fun!

Who cares which beat em up is best, they’re all fun. River City Girls is probably better and more nuanced than both SR and SoR4, who cares, play them all. Physics or digital. That also doesn’t matter.

@Brumblescope - You’ll be given the option to keep or reset your previous stats when you start a new story mode run. I wasn’t sure myself until I just went ahead with it. You can build all the playable characters up to level 10 this way. Have fun.

Four hours?!? It only takes @abdias four hours to clear story mode. The rest of us can do it in 2-2.5 hrs and then gleefully start a new character.

Wow, I absolutely love the 1960’s Decca children’s album aesthetic. It’s beautiful. I’m not a huge fan of this series, yet I still want to buy simply for its beauty.

@twztid13 - Yeah, I guess we’ve been conditioned to the $19.99 price tag for quality indies. Anything less makes me wonder why at this point. This one looks high quality in motion, but I am a bit concerned about the combat.

Yeah, this looks excellent. The characters fight like Hagar, Axel and Blaze. So much brawling to look forward to this year, if only they’d just release.

Looks beautiful, only concern is the low price! The combat doesn’t look quite as fun as Dust or Tian Ding, but the overall polish is impressive.

@AndyC_MK111 - Total guess, Sludge Life? Slightly similar visuals, tho that one is first person. There’s a cat that has two anuses. It’s hard to forget. Haven’t played it yet, but it’s on my WL.

Been eyeballing it for a while in the coming soon section, but I’m at least slightly concerned when a game doesn’t include a video in the screen shots, like this one. A real shame as the art is beautiful and the game sounds fun if properly constructed.

Weird, I like food AND video games, seems I’m the target audience for this one. Color me intrigued. I’m gonna freak out if I read they’re making a game about puppies and scotch next.

The blue taxi is similar to the blue they used on their early arcade cabinets. It’s a nice, attention grabbing color.

@Zuljaras - Yes, definitely excited for the collection, I didn’t think I’d ever play the old arcade games on a modern console. I probably have an even higher level of anticipation for Shredder’s Revenge. I saw that Turtle you made in the artist’s thread, it’s incredible.
