I think I get why people still hold on to Double Dash, but as someone who has played a lot of different racing games over the years, I prefer to focus more on the racing part. Leave the heavy strategy to Fire Emblem.

Got a decent way through Shadow Dragon DS, and holy cow, that game should be MUCH higher on this list along with NSMB and Spirit Tracks. It does not get more classic FE than that, and I will gladly take it over both Advance Wars entries on this system.

Like I'm even gonna get New Horizons. Obviously I will for collecting purposes, but this year, I only have my eye on New Leaf and Happy Home Designer, which will hold me off for a couple years. After all the things I've heard, I'm so glad I'm not an AC fan.

I've been playing on Xbox since 2016, and ultimately, every achievement I earned was meaningless. I wanna make up what I do in my games, not have outside objectives laid before me.

As for the eShop music, id only be there for two minutes, tops.

@Banjo- lol absolutely not. The Wii U was bad, and there is no way around that. It was underpowered, it's UI was insanely slow, it's VC was worse than the Wii, third parties left after a year, the controller was underutilized, and it's games were largely disappointing. Even if you factor in modding, the Wii and 3DS do all that for cheaper and better. It's the worst console they've ever made, and it's not even close.

I'm still in, because Nintendo is the only console manufacturer I have any hope in. If the Switch 2 is their last console, then you can take solace in the fact that I will never buy anything new gaming related again.

Both versions of Shadow Dragon, though I think I'll stick with the DS remake from here on out due to the MUCH faster pace (the original is still really good otherwise). Honest hot take: I prefer this over Blazing Blade, and it might end up being one of my favorites.

Sorry, but this game is still genuinely good, and I say that as someone who doesn't like the NES that much (even Mario 3 didn't hook me). It's simple, yes, but not to a fault. It doesn't include the extras from following games because it never needed them. It's about as pure as FE can get, and I love it for that. Obviously, the DS remake is better (in fact, that version might end up being one of my favorites), but this one is still worth it for the extra challenge and Marth being better in this version.

even though I have yet to play Twilight or Tears, the only one I got wrong was the Dark World one (could've sworn it was the Dark Mirror). That Tri Force Heroes one was a curveball, though.

If the GameCube controller adapter works, then they'll probably allow you to use it with the NSO app. Makes me glad I bought it.

I never cared about the screen quality, tbh. I mean, I still use a 3DS. I honestly felt that the OLED model was redundant for me.

@Atariboy GX will still have widescreen. All the N64 games that had widescreen allow you to switch. Nintendo just showed it in 4:3 because it's the default, similar to how they show the Game Boy games in barf green.
