Donkey Kong Bananza's Emerald Rush DLC kicked off its third event of 2026 earlier this week, and it features a pair of classic Kongs in statue form that long-time fans will want to grab.
'Unyielding Strength' started on 31st March and runs until 7th April 2026 at 7:59am BST / 8:59am CET / 11:59 PT (6th), giving you a chance to grab statues of Wrinkly Kong (who first appeared in Donkey Kong Country 2, though mentioned in the first) and Tiny Kong (from Donkey Kong 64).
The event takes place on DK Island, meaning once you grab those statues, you can put them down immediately without travelling to your lovely little island nook.

Just as a reminder, like previous events, you can only take part in this if you have the DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC, and you'll need to dive into the game's roguelike side to unlock those statues. That means limited perks and upgrades, too.
