Personally I’m not surprised with EA’s logic. THe budget of some of these games is mirroring those of Hollywood blockbusters almost 15-20 years ago.
With budgets that size everything on the game must be marketable. It’s crazy.
Thus, whatever is popular is what is going to be made to justify the investment.... very boring and sterile.

I’m always stuck buying a sonic game hoping it’s good. Colours wasn’t bad. I’m skeptical on this one. I love sonic.
I didn’t get sonic mania because i desperately want a new modern sonic... that is at least playable.

Playing Mario and rabbids and Zelda BOTW

I got one by luck. Went to Gamestop at around 630am. I was the third 10th person. Store only had 9 in stock decided to stay anyway.

Nice! Another game I didn't even know I wanted lol. Loved my Wii U but the switch's OS give devs more tools to port games at a faster rate.

Nice! Going to have to find time for this one. Loved the Bravely Default series though must admit never finished either of them... just don't grind them out like i used to...

Yeah don't get me started on the whole DQ11 fiasco. I'm still trying to figure why the sudden delay. Money? Resources?

Good assessment. I hope they bring the xenoblade bundle to the west that might just make you get a schedule ahead of schedule. 😜

Agreed. I haven't touch my 3ds since I bought my switch BUT the new metroid might change that fact.

Love the "Stranger Things" pic. I hope they don't show too much Mario Odyessy. Looking forward to some classic downloads.. fingers crossed for with SMB3 or SMW.

I'm on that list of never played ever.. I bought the steel book edition for PS4 but haven't even opened it.. probably gonna sell it and just use the funds for the swiTch version

Honestly I like this game. Yeah I was a little skeptical in the beginning but this game is a labor of love from the devs. I plan to get this.

Learning Japanese is definitely in my bucket list. Unfortunately, I spend my free time in software development. I wish I didn't have to sleep so I could learn some Japanese and Hangul. 😂
It sounds like you want to become an official translator yourself. If that is the case I hope you reach your goal. You are definitely doing the right things to accomplish it.
The demand at least to me seems to be picking up considerably each generation as the cultural barriers continue to get blurred on both sides US to Japan and Japan to US.

Ah so you believe they delayed the project for other reasons then. Okay. I hope you're right. I'm actually looking forward to playing this game WHEN it finally comes to the west. But I'm only buying if it's for the switch. It's been a very long time since I played a dragon quest game.

Well PS3 had been around for a while now (10 years) and using the foreign eshop sounds like a hack to me right? Not supported by Nintendo? I'm referring to every console besides the switch of course.

Yeah but Sony never cared about region locks. Nintendo is the company that puts emphasis on "region lock".

I wonder if the switch is being delayed/cancelled by Nintendo due to the switch's no region lock. It's a long shot but Nintendo's logic has always been quirky.

Awesome I prefer this over scratch to teach kids how to code. Scratch is nice to teach logic but then it misses the importance of syntax. So when kids transition into another language frustration can set in pretty quickly.

Awesome! I never picked up the original. Another game to get on the switch. Prefer physical but might just go digital on this one just for the convienence factor.

agreed. I love playing XCX. If switch gets a port, I'm in without a doubt. I love Monolith's games. It's a perfect balance between JRPG and modern RPG mechanics. I might dive into FF sometime next year but why would I do that if I have Xenoblade 2 .

Looking forward to EO5. Wish this game was also ported to the switch. I might actually turn on my 3ds just for this game. Good times..
