This is a beautiful looking game graphically.
Look good
Looks gorgeous. Love the screenshot with the Pumpkin house. I also love in the trailer where the Goomba is like stuck on something and he's struggling. Haha
This looks really good!
Can't wait for a new Super Mario 3D world game looking this pure HD glory
If the game does nothing else it looks beautiful.
I think it looks great, the gameplay seems interesting as well, very good surprise for me (xcom fan)
Good god, this is beautiful.
Funny how quickly my opinion did a 180 on this. I guess, like many gamers, I'm guilty of being very quick to judgment.
Really, really hope this turns out to be a fantastic game.
Looks beautiful visually. Not really a genre I'm a fan of though, so I doubt I'll be buying it.
Looks fantastic.
Are screenshots 2, 3 and 4 from in-game do we think? They just look really nice, wondering if they're pre-rendered or something? Like the Pikmin marketing stills which look somewhat made out of plasticine. If the Switch can do that then maybe, finally, I'll get my Pikmin game where the in-game graphics match the marketing material! 😀
This would look so bad if it didn't look so good.
Well, I love XCOM and I love Mario. Even though I'm not keen on the Rabbids, I am excited about this!
I need this game, and I hate myself very much for needing it. I do NOT want to like a game with rabbids in it but... I needs it
@SLIGEACH_EIRE It looks gorgeous, and I wish it didn't. I want to hate this game so bad
Looks stunning!
Looks good
I have yet to watch the trailer (the embedded videos on this site for the other articles about this didnt work for me in the US) but these screens look suprisingly nice!
What do you guys dislike about the rabbids? Aren't they crazy in the most funniest way? Or is it the sounds they make you find annoying? Their design? I was literally laughing out loud when donkey rabbid appeared on screen
terrific looking game for the mario style, the DK rabbid got a pretty big laugh from me in the presentation and in the screenshots
This sounds and looks great, I can't wait now.
This game looks terrific. At this point this is def. my most anticpated game that ive seen as e3 (thus far). Shocked by how into this i am!
I didn't think I would, but I actually want this game now.....
Rabbids: design is dead
I'm pleasantly surprised and pleased that this looks like it might actually turn out to be pretty cool. So far it's all looking good.
Honestly, I didn't know much about Rabbids except people typically dislike them. And they didn't really appeal to me design wise, so I decided I didn't like them either.
But if I'm being perfectly honest, they're not all that bad judging from what I've seen in the game. In fact... I kinda like em. Especially the enemy ones. They look so cool.
And I think it needs to be said, the game looks stunning. Hard to believe it's running on Switch, actually. And the strategy gameplay looks too fun.
@GravyThief It looks like it's all in-game stuff from what I saw in the gameplay footage:

Looks like an incredible game. Was a bit on the fence about it due to the strategy side and what the trailer showed. But it looks so great, I will definitely like to play this.
Beauty and the Beast....
Mario and friends = Beauty
Rabbids = the Beast
I'm sold on this screenshot.
Why? Because if there's anything I wanted from this crossover, it was Mario crossed with Ancel's art style. And lo and behold, The Dream Forest (first world of Rayman, in case you didn't know)'s beautiful plant life is brought to new, er, life in the Mario universe.
looks great
I love turn based games and I loved this reveal. It felt like Nintendo returning to a live conference for a second with the way Ubisoft lead their show with this game & the crowd's response.
The fact that there are 4 green characters - Luigi, Yoshi and their Rabbid variations - leaves me puzzled... they could have used a blue Toad (a la SM3DW) or the plain old yellow Wario.
Anyway, game looks beautiful.
Strange that people hate Rabbids so much but adore Minions from Despicable Me. The Rabbids came first, I think they're funny enough at times. They could do with having a bit more personality and be more individual, however.
Maybe a little humble pie on this one..? It looks like a much better game than I thought they could ever pull off.... i was long convinced it was a poor Mario party clone in the making.
I wonder how much influence Nintendo really had on the game / design / play macanics..?
It's still early days, but hats off to it so far.
Love me some tactics based combat, i'll keep an eye on this one. Hopefully ubisoft does more than make it look good. Needs to have some challenge and customization too.
I'm in the mood for a fun strategy RPG. I just hope the story and gameplay shine as well as the visuals... beautiful!!
I neeeeeeedd iiiiiiitt. Looks so great graphically. I think that Nintendo had a good amount of hand in the game. Ubisoft and Nintendo look to have put together a great game together. Hopefully more collaborations like this one can happen in the future. Day one purchase for me for sure. The Nintendo Switch looks to be having an enormous library in its first hear. I hope Nintendo announce Super Mario 3D World for the Switch. It would be perfect for the system.
That reveal trailer was one of the funniest things I've watched in quite some time. I'd buy this game just for the sheer hilarity of it. And these screenshots look gorgeous.
Whatever the case, color me intrigued.
@iescalie1 I sadly doubt a 3D World port will be announced for Switch. Especially with Mario Odyssey being the next big thing for 3D Mario games. I don't think Nintendo will want to detract from that.
Again... why do the Rabbids need to be involved? Why not just the Mushroom Kingdom?
This looks damn good. I'm still not a fan of Rabbids but this game has me tempted.
@ThomasBW84 Couldn't have said it better myself ^^ Ubisoft really pulled a rabbit out of their hats here ... ^^
For someone who is not a fan of turn-based strategy games, this one actually looks really fun! I might give it a try. I can always resell it after trying it for a weekend.
@8-Bit_Zorldo The only canon to worry about is the Mario RPGs. Which sucks because Paper Mario's was wiped out after Super Paper Mario
@Yoshis_VGM True. Maybe next year.
This game had me from the start of the trailer. I so love this! Looks like alot of fun. So yeah thank you Ubisoft for a good looking and fun game.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE A lot of people dislike both. Personally, I think the Minions worked fine as background characters like in Despicable Me, but they were too obnoxious in their own movie.
Either this RPG will be very bad and we will never get one like this ever again or this RPG will be very good and we'll never see another sequel for it similar to the Super NES original. Either way it seems like a Super Mario RPG works better when Nintendo team up with a third party to do it. If this game ends up to be very good, it'll be one of those rare few games where no matter how many times we wish for a sequel, we'll probably never get one.
The screenshots look very nice!
I think the problem with Rabbids more than their personality is the absolutely crappy quality of the games they were releasing for a while. They became synonymous with low quality, boring games. Them as a concept is actually not terrible and I think this game will make them work! It's a very different humour to Mario and Luigi games but I can work with it
@chriiiiiiiiiis
Very true, especially since Ubi Soft clearly learned NOTHING from Rabbids Go Home.
