Gagging to get some Meat Boy all over your Switch? It looks like you won't have to wait much longer, as the team behind the hardcore platformer have all but confirmed that the latest title - Super Meat Boy Forever - is coming to Nintendo's console.
Team Meat is yet to officially confirm platforms for the title, but has stated that fans of the Switch "won't be disappointed."
This news follows yesterday's confirmation by Edmund McMillen - one of Meat Boy's creators - that his latest game, The End is Nigh, is also Switch-bound.

Nice. I will keep this game on my radar.
Another one for me, damn i'm going to have a massive backlog of games soon
Wonder if this'll be €10 more expensive too
OK, this snowball of 2D platformers is starting to go out of control. Bring 'em on!
It would be awesome if they could get the original soundtrack back. Don't think it'll happen, but it would be cool.
"There's a chance you won't be disappointed"
Ohhh a port?? Who cares bring it on!!
Yawn!
Oh, another game I can just play on my Wii U. Nice!
@joey302 What do you mean by port? This is a brand new meatboy game.
@bezerker99 the isn't super meat boy. This is a new game.
For the guys who don't seem to realize this is a new game.

PSA: He also ruled out a Wii U version, but I guess that's hardly surprising.
@LtAldoRaine this is a new game. This isn't super meat boy
@faint yea I missed that lol. Apparently so did a few others! 😊 Either way good news for the Switch
Awesome! I never picked up the original. Another game to get on the switch. Prefer physical but might just go digital on this one just for the convienence factor.
@faint Oh, now I see the Forever in the title. Cool!
The Switch is really amazing. Granted we don't have much or barely any Triple A games but the amount of indie titles so far has been really good. I think that 5 years from here the Switch will have a huge catalog of indie titles, rpgs, platformers, action-adventure and Nintendo exclusives and it will be a most have console. Even though it already is.
It would be cool to see western developers on board with the Switch but I don't think that will be the case beyond WB Interactive and Ubisoft. But at the same time 3DS is amazing and that only had indies and Japanese developers plus Nintendo so in this regard Switch will be damn fine.
I don't like Super Meat Boy's aesthetic, but it's good that more highly regarded games are coming to the Switch.
@faint Oh yeah, didn't catch that. Whoops.
This is great news!
Assuming that it happens: I thought the guy REALLY didn't want his games on Nintendo devices. What exactly changed his mind?
Really looking forward to this, tough as nails but very rewarding!
@Henmii he didn't have a problem with it. Nintendo did.... for a while. You can actually find videos of him on YouTube calling Reggie everyday for over a week.
@faint,
I remember that he made quite a fuss when people asked about his games on Wii u: No way, he replied. But yeah, things have changed. Maybe the current situation is much better for him, financial-wise. And the Switch is easier to work on.
@Henmii plus commander video appeared in the first meat boy game as a playable character, is liable to again, and his series is so beloved by Nintendo that he's exclusive now and got a smash trophy. He might have been able to put in a good word.
