I'm still irked that they shut down AM2R but at least they let the game be finished. Honestly I feel like this is a game that was made largely because AM2R showed that there was fan interest in Metroid II. I loved AM2R, and I'm sure I'll love this too. Might be the first game to make me play my 3DS since I got my Switch.

Nothing on the Switch. I already own most of these games that I have any interest in.

I'd be interested but with that heavy swearing in the trailer I'd worry that the game may contain it as well. I love The Binding of Isaac but I'm uncomfortable with the language used in this trailer.

@MagnaRoader Well so far so good, and being that these supposedly work with the Wii as well perhaps Nintendo will leave them alone. I absolutely love playing a ton of games with the SNES30 controller.

(some favorites with it have been: Street Fighter II, King of Fighters 98, Blaster Master Zero, Shovel Knight, & Spelunker World)

I've bought the 3 of these controllers now and only so I can use them for the Switch. Two Snes30's one purple one rainbow colored buttons (super famicon) and then a Nes30 Pro with the dual joysticks. Haven't had the last one show up yet but I've loved the others so far.

Have you got yours yet? Have you enjoyed them a lot too?

@MagnaRoader If Nintendo disables their use I'll be one of those unhappy customers. I just bought some specifically to use with the Switch.

@beazlen1 Cloud saves is the number one thing I'm hoping for!

@StephenYap3 Yeah the lesser Non-CPU characters were interesting in the early games, but there were less characters then. Now anyone that can't transform does feel less worth the play time. I have to agree with you there. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.

@countzero I'm pretty sure that The gyroscope puzzles in BotW probably aren't playable with these, but the rest of the game should be fine.

I love these photos it's great fun! I hope my son eventually is a devout game fan so that I can have similar experiences.

Also you might want to fix that first line, "What it is..." Instead it probably should be "What is it..."

@StephenYap3 What's wrong with Neptunia? I've enjoyed both the gameplay and the looks. The humor and pop culture references are to die for.

Edit: yeah they. Could announce them at any time, but E3 was a date for a possible likely reveal, now we're back to guessing in the dark again.

Oh also I love Nintendo Directs but they haven't promised a timeframe for the next direct so that's really why this news is disappointing.

I'm rather annoyed by this. I was hoping for information on cloud saves between two systems, or at least some way to back up my saves to move them to a second system. I own 2 systems but the 'tablet' is still in the box in its original wrapping until they actually make owning two worth while.

Bought the second one to get the joycons, a second grip, and a second dock and I've loved those. I want my wife to be able to enjoy Switch games while I take the other system to work without her losing all progress completely.

@wazlon the game has s survival mode, battle mode(s) and a new flight mini game.

There should be plenty to enjoy without creative mode.

@Kalmaro The new Sonic Mania game that is coming out originated because a guy was doing romhacks of Sonic games and Sega decided to hire him.

Sure Nintendo didn't give permission to use Yoshi this way, but Sega is really open to romhacks.They even allow people to upload romhacks to be freely downloaded and played with their steam version of the game.

Someone could probably share this there legally with no complaints from Sega.

@getyourak I'm glad the headphone jack is on top, it's really not that annoying having to fiddle around with it so it's not touching your hands.

What would have been truly annoying is if it was on the bottom so you couldn't play in table top mode with headphones.

A friend of mine was looking into it around the time that it released in Japan to play on his imported 3ds. If I recall he said you could import custom images made elsewhere too but I can't find a source for that directly.

So if nothing else... hopefully it's a feature?

That's pretty cool. If it was ever mass produced I'd consider buying one but if I was going to go through the effort of 'building one' I'd just use a raspberry pi instead.

I hope they don't replace the all the swords with sticks in this region. It does say each region is getting it's own localization. So here's hoping that the outrageously long delay for the US release is because they're making some different choices on censorship at least.

@Gridatttack It doesn't appear if it's the first time you've seen it. After you see it in battle at least once or if you catch it then you can see the type matchings.

Honestly, they might be the guys doing the Splatoon and MarioKart games we saw in the reveal trailer.

I have both versions but I always go back to playing the Wii U version instead. It's the superior graphically and with co-op it's much more fun.

I wish it got the adventure maps and new alternate color costumes too. It's stupid that they don't release at least that now that the 3DS run will be complete.

They develop things for Pokemon Go yes. But if you look at their rules on the side bar they are very anti bots. "Don't Post: Automated Bots: If a user can level up without playing the game, it's not allowed. Any violations will result in an immediate ban."

I believe the botting community you might be looking for is r/pokemongobotting/ instead. I don't use or encourage the use of bots though FYI.

I'd love a Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon car as DLC if Nintendo ever permitted it.

Wow that looks like something I really would have liked playing back then. Final Fantasy Legends 1 & 2 were some of my faves back in the day and this would have been a nice step forward.
