Games are products — that's what companies like Nintendo create to sell. But you also have to keep in mind that many media companies, such as Marvel & DC, make products in different forms, like comics and films. These are made for profit in the first place.
If you're asking whether games can be considered art: yes, they can. But there are still many people who don't accept this.
The Salt is strong with this one. This is probably why they've not revealed it on next Nintendo Direct AND added 1 more fighter slot to the second pass.
Byleth though, eh... I'm not mad about it, unlike others...
If they are FORCED to alter to dialogue, then I guess this changed line is fine way to cover up.
Otherwise, this censorship is just another pointless thing that it coming from "those angry people" who whines almost anything that is offense in videogame just because they can. You know what I'm talking about.
@DarkLloyd Creator's program purpose was to have a right to use gameplay footage or a fan content to Youtube that has anything related to Nintendo. Good thing that they got rid of it...for now.
Soundtrack is however different story and it of course flags copyright claim as "a piracy"
Instead of being biased about a port, here's my opinion on the game self.
It's pretty much an upgraded version of Doom 1 with a lot's of new content. Using a super shotgun is very, very satisfying and a new demons that you encounter completes to the perfection game.
Just a fair warning that Starlink has a tons of DLC including more unlockable things without toys requirement and other Starfox pilots to play. I suggest to wait for the discount price of an bundle if you want to get them all.
I was surprised in good way that upcoming Smash Fighter DLC wasn't Steve from Minecraft. After all, Minecraft was big reason why Microsoft has become more friendly with Nintendo.
Since Banjo-Kazooie has returned, maybe we'll see two old Banjo-Kazooie games on Nintendo Switch soon?
It doesn't need to be a sequel, but could be nice to have a spiritual successor game that takes place at same world as Child of Light, but that's probably too risky for Ubisoft to pull off that.
@Mogster FEH has really lost the edge because their greediness. Upcoming update was a lackbuster, more powercreep units still keep coming as selling point for the whales and a monthly free stuff are getting fewer.
Guys, be careful about wishing too much for Nintendo franchises handling by indie dev, because you wouldn't want to get an another fiasco like Zelda CD-i.
Keep it mind that those polls are targeted to japanese audience. Also good to mention that there are no japanese Sega Genesis/Mega Drive collection available beside 3D classics for Nintendo 3DS
I believe that they had to redo again just because Metroid Prime is FPS type game that only western game studio can handle it, I mean look, there aren't really many japanese games that have a first person views.
For me, Nintendo still don't get it why we buy the game card rather than the digital version on full price. They should've focused more rewarding for those who buy the digital games (or better yet, make it more cheaper)
Only plus side I found that you can earn a Gold points by purchacing DLC right now.
@Cosats True, but however you can "cheat" to earn rewards by creating fake UK user and try collect codes from imported game. However, you can redeem only the digital goods like games, wallpapers, etc.
If you look up Odyssey intro again, Bowser called him plumber after Mario being defeated, so I don't think that news is actually that shocking on Mushroom Kingdom.
People should notice that Nintendo's biggest weakness against hacks since Wii are the hardware self, since they're not so advanced and is a lot easier to exploit it when to compare to PS4 and Xbone machines without hard modding.
Yes, Switch is the gimmick game console and so on, but in fact they uses the customized Nvidia Shield hardware that has an unfixable exploit.
Nintendo desprerate needs more good online games before the payment service comes in. They're still fears that games like Splatoon 2 or ARMS will soon become a desert online game, unless something really big happens to online service. A free Virtual Console games isn't one of them.
Took long enough to fix that problem, still figures that Nintendo always silently updates without noticing to anyone.
This however wasn't first time that Nintendo actually listened to customers, you europeans sure remember the sad case of PAL version on Virtual Console for WiiU when Balloon Fighter came out.
So far, I only spend 1 euro to Nintendo Badge Arcade. Nothing more.
My only complain I can give that those micropayment are really expenssive, I mean...1 euro = 1 jewel or 5 tries? This doesnt justify me to spend a real money to a small amount of resource/tries/whatever other than supporting a f2p games because you can earn most of stuff for free anyway.
Trine 3 for PC has suffered with a several silly glitches, an unplayable controller with keyboard+mouse, a bad camera angles on 3D section and a very short gameplay. The game has left so incredible unfinished that it's no surprise about getting a negative feedbacks from players.
@dequesi
I highly doubt that this has be something to do with region-locked issue because after all Xbox Live and Playstation Network also has each own region kind shop for that, so my 5 bucks sez that this is something to do with one of Europe legal system that Nintendo always takes seriously...
If those games coming to Europe as well, I'd pick Gotcha Racing because I don't have seen many racing game on 3DS so far, plus gotta love customize stuff!
Those stuff are pretty awesome. Still bummering that I happen to live on one of EU country where Nintendo Europe won't deliver a physical rewards to there.
I hope a new reward system will get bless to those countries.
IMO the amiibo card form got a nifty idea: 1.) for those who rather to use Amiibo 'DLC' content than owning figures and 2.) for those a creative people who creates very own DIY custom figures and stick a card on it..if it's small enough.

Nintendo should do something with this manner.
Re: Random: Series Director Discusses The Mystery Behind Kirby's Feet
That question is something that is best left unanswered.
