@KryptoniteKrunch Well in fairness Activision have very little to do with this game. They own Crash, but both N.Sane Trilogy and this were outsourced. Both devs seem real cool too.

@Petriebird It's hard to say, they're fundamentally very different. Mario Kart is easier to get into and is less complex so it's a better causal game to chill with. CTR has a lot more depth, is far less luck based and has the potential to be a lot more fun, but it'll take a bit to get the hang of and it's not great with friends if they're new to the game. I prefer CTR, but it really comes down to preference. Worth keeping in mind it's 20 bucks less though.

@EasyDaRon There's nothing superficial about it, new content is new content. No one said they needed this constant drip of content to stay interested in the game, it's just an amazing game that just so happens to be getting new content cause Beenox are cool dudes. Hell, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hasn't gotten any substantial content added since launch, but people are still interested cause it's just fun. This free content is just a nice bonus along with some quality of life changes, there's absolutely zero downside.

This is absolutely amazing support, Team Sonic Racing should be talking notes.

@Aneira Don't blame you, they're really different mechanically and set out to achieve different things. I prefer CTR myself but it's very subjective.

This is 100% damage control, Ash is pretty much confirmed, all his intro dialogue is in the game. That or it's just a different character called Ash.

I don't think it's fair to say that microtransactions are 'forced'. The microtransactions are not related to the Krypt which is where the issues lie. They're actually not very useful at all in fairness, almost like they're there out of obligation cause WB demanded it.

I've no clue what this game is and I don't care but I wanna give props for that tagline on the review.

I'm really happy this game is still getting updated cause the lack of content was the one thing holding it back, but getting an opening cutscene only now seems a bit strange. That seems like the kinda thing you just have or you don't.

Kitana looks cool, but D'Vorah absolutely blew me away. Absolutely a character I'll try out, beyond excited for this game.

I'd take Daytona first if we could somehow get an arcade port, but this would be my next choice for sure.

This is amazing, I'll definitely be double dipping on this, this was my favourite game of last year. Props to the devs for porting it despite all the pressure they got too.

The core gameplay is fun enough to keep me playing, but there are major issues that have been ignored that should've been patched by now. This is Nintendo's Street Fighter V currently, although unlike Capcom, I don't know if they're racing to fix these issues.

Meh, it's no PUBG, but either way more games like this on the Switch is good. Besides, while the game is nowhere near as good, the Fortnite devs are way nicer than the PUBG devs, so I'm happy to support them.

I'm fine with this, these are fads I'm glad Nintendo are bypassing. VR is cool, but unnecessary, and 4K should stay with PC with how hard it is to achieve.

@QwertyQwerty Of course, the Switch isn't going near 4k anytime soon, 4k on console is a bit daft if you ask me. Still shouldn't be much of a size difference, maybe 12GBs less total at least.

Fair enough, the game is 60GB on PC, this is to be expected really.

This actually looks really neat, and I'm not one for RPG's. Shame the comments on stream were mostly 'BOOOOORING WHERE'S SMASHHHH'. This is certainly worth keeping an eye on.
