Re: Evidence Of Resident Evil 3: Cloud Version For Nintendo Switch Seemingly Uncovered

@Dm9982 Oops. Yeah Madhouse. Something to do during winter break. Just wanted to chime in as someone who actually played a lot of RE7 cloud version, it does indeed work very well and the pricing isn't bad, for that game at least. I'm hoping the remakes of 2 and 3 come soon with a similar implementation and pricing model. For people who want the games in physical versions, there's other systems but for someone like me that just wanted to experience the game (and yes, it does work in undocked mode using the home internet or out and about if you have pocket wifi), the cloud version was more than enough.

Honestly other than the cloud versions opening prompt screen it was easy to forget that i was even playing a version that wasn't saved into my console.

@Dm9982 it wasn't a monthly access fee it was 2000 yen (about 19USD) for a six month "rental" of the game. And it was the all DLC version too. My internet isn't even that great (i live in a more rural area of japan) and only one time in the half a year that i was playing it did it disconnect due to the internet connection. Other than that it played real smooth. Might pay again since i want to try the game on nightmare difficulty.

Re: Review: Resident Evil - A Great Version Of A Classic Which Stubbornly Refuses To Get With The Times

@Ralizah i know right? The majority of the review is almost the controls. Very broken record. Maybe its different for people that grew up with these kinds of games, this kind of control style is actually really intuitive when you get used to it. A lot of games of that time had them. They just work for these 3rd person view type games. Remember when Silent Hill 4 switched to directional controls? It was so clunky and awkward.

Re: Konami Releasing Anniversary Collection Series On Nintendo Switch

Seriously, what do we think those other 4 Castlevania titles are? Im hoping at least one of the GBA/DS games make it in. Id love a collection of all those titles as that was my favorite era of Castlevania.

Im thinking Bloodlines is in for sure. They wouldnt put Rondo or symphony in though right? Since those were already in their own exclusive to Playstation collection?

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's Big Switch and 3DS Reveals at E3 on Day One?

Tsuchinoko

@Jayronauron yeah particularly with the whole "competitive tournament" gaming focus with Splatoon, ARMS, and Pokken. Theyre very well aware of how big the competitive Smash scene is. Plus a decent Smash 4 Deluxe with solid online and bonus content would just make them all the ยฅยฃ$โ‚ฌ.

I do think a Mario Party or similar casual multiplayer game reveal is the most likely though.
