@galachef55 I looked that up. People in the comments section also seem a bit confused. Those things on its back are scale ridges. I think itsa translation mistake. Wings show up nowhere in the Japanese.

EDIT. I looked at the Japanese description just in case. Nothing about wings at all even just in name. The Japanese name would translate to "squeezing snake dragon", in reference to its method of attack. This looks like a weird translation error or oversight.

Got ridiculously popular even though it was a game that had been done dozens of times.

I was going to refrain from commenting, so as not to seem biased, but after looking I can say that yes, the Japanese cover art is much better. There's a huge difference in quality of art, blocking of the hunters and monster, and graphics. That's two games in a row where the flagship monster didn't appear on the western version.

Yeah, this isn't really a new stage, but its good to get more details on it.

I think in the context of this game the wind waker fits Zelda quite well.

This manga, and anything associated with are hugely popular here in japan, almost to a surprising level. For anyone thinking this and the anime wont come to their region, rest assured, they realize its popularity and will put it out in other regions. I dont even read manga or watch anime and shingeki stuff is everywhere. Its impossible to live in japan and not know about it.

Yeah, this one is much better than the first game. Im enjoying it a lot. I was a bit surprised that the DLC menu wasnt there at first, but the DLC menu, quest map and everything else opens up after just a few songs. And the quest mode is so much better this time around!

@shazeobock I got the two free download tracks. It does insert them into the menu for that songs game, unlike the first game, preview included. It also automatically adds them into the music player!

Just got the game. The menu and sounds are much nicer this time around! Also, the songs are opened much differently. At first only FFVI, FFVII, FFXIII, and X-2 are open, but after getting only 500 points every other game opens up.

And therd are sooo many songs in this one!

There really needs to be a central Asian office to handle Nintendo distribution in the continent outside of Japan. I think setting up shop in Shanghai or to have Hong Kong be their central hub would be best.

@Gorlokk you should have by now. Are you playing the dark notes side quest? You get the crystal shards from the boss monsters.

@allav866 i was under the assumption that it had all of the ios exclusive tracks, of which there were 11. The only track that was in the DLC that is not being included, at least according to what I've heard, is Somnus from FFXV.

In the demo the track from VII is labelled as from Advent Children. Its actually decently hard without being frustrating.

@allav866 certain songs i believe are playable in more than one way. Aeriths theme is both an event sequence song and can be played as a battle sequence. I don't remember but i believe there is a time in VII where that song is played during a fight.

@PrincessEevee9 first half of April is spring break for all the k-12 kiddies in Japan. Thats why a lot of new games are coming out.

@Starwolf_UK the original had over 70 tracks. This one has 221 tracks BEFORE DLC. Thats a huge amount. At this point DLC could only make it better. I think since the Romancing Saga tracks are recent reveals, other stuff, like Mana isn't impossible

Thats whats been said in previous announcements. The first reveal was the first up to VII, the second was VIII to XIV. The only DLC that has been announced so far are the Romancing Saga songs. Just wait for the spin-off stuff to be revealed

@Mahe i havent played most of the newer ones, but i think they have some great music. Battle for Freedom from FFXII and Blades Edge and the amazing Fighting Fate from XIII are some of my favorites.

@PrincessEevee9 like i said, its coming, possibly in a third wave of announcements. Most of the tracks from the spin-offs havent been announced.

@MarkMcColtney according to a the japanese site, quite a few of the songs from the first game are getting extended, the stages will be longer.

Thats what i was saying. At only having weekday posts, it would take over a month, with the current characters. The highest number of weekdays a month ban have is 23, there are 24 characters. Its a simple statement that people are reading way too much into.

@FJOJR people have been reading too much into that statement. Im sure he was referring to the current roster. At its current number it would take nearly a month, not quite though. I think since theres so much we don't know, and so much we don't know and bit of info is completely dissected. Then again, anything above 25 or 31 would be more than a months worth, even a large roster of over 40 or 50 characters.
