I only started playing atelier games when atelier lydie and sue came out on switch and I've loved the series since. I love how many of the games are released on switch

I think the timing is kinda smart. Not a lot of people are into arms anymore and the amount of people looking forward to it is probably not that high. Having it on the same day as smash makes people see it on their switch, possibly making people think "might as well check this out while I'm here".

This series is so pokemon like to me, the core mechanics keep me going back game after game and I accept it with its arguably many faults

I would love to play this, but the price is a bit too much for me. Hopefully it'll go on sale at some point and I'll pick it up.

Nice review When I played it on 3ds it left such a bitter taste, it could've been way better and I'm glad it wasn't just me thinking so.

I'm just impressed that he complimented Niantic in the last quote even as he made a satire game of Pokemon Go. Way more reasonable than most of the 14 year olds on the internet.

It worked for me (got a Flareon cos I love it) That backstory about it is really interesting and it's good that people don't have to evolve their Eevees over and over in frustration.

@Grumblevolcano @dean87 You both have valid points The localization isn't really that comparable imo, but for my understanding a large amount of buyers (could be interpreted as casual gamers) just buy games when they are released and don't even necessarily know/care about these things. The longer wait still can only get in the way of sales.

I guess most people who bought Fates in Europe wanted to get it right away as they had to wait for so long compared to everywhere else. That's what I did anyways. I do wonder how much of an impact the longer wait had on the sales.

For me the competitive scene is like the post-post-game. I play through the main game with only the pokemon whose designs I like the best even if they are weak (they usually are ). The pokemon used during the main game don't need to be competitively viable in any way. After doing all the stuff after E4 the competitive battling starts off refreshingly as there has been quite the break by then.

Hyped beyond belief the first game's repeat part actually had some deep changes and got the player know more about the characters, both allies and foes. Also for the impatient people there was the lamer ending, but the true ending is a must.

I really hope they include faster text speed option because gates to infinity was just too slow paced for me.

I'm still so salty about fantasy life going mobile This won't make up for it, but if it reaches west it will definitely help

She is good at what she does, that's why she is popular. Even though I don't like her music, good for her. Good choice of handheld too

How can one not take this game as humorous? It has a special edition "Happy boobs"! Is there something wrong with all of them having huge boobs? Its not like I'm going to rip clothes off of all the women I see after playing this, just like I wouldn't start shooting people after playing gta.

I'm sure they know it's not like a professional movie, no need to point that out. They still did a great job, so looking forward to seeing the "Final Battle"!

HAL has definitely been an unsung hero of great games. It has kinda been like Nintendo's little helper (I wonder if anyone gets that pun ).

Heart gold all the way! I loved/love everything about Johto region, also the battle against Red was so great! Somehow ORAS was kind of a disappointment for me, the hand holding was just too overwhelming.

What? Some older models get replaced when new ones come along? (the new 3DS being basically the same). Mind = Blown.

I think the review was made to please the ubi-hater nintendo gamers, not that I can defend this port too much. I do still think a 7/10 would be the right score.

Wow they are crazy about MH4U, I have only played a demo of MH3U and I never understood the popularity. Just not for me I guess, great for nintendo though Just waiting for Wii U Smash now.
