Re: Bravely Default Developer Team Asano Asks Fans If They Want A New Entry

Well, I really liked the first two games on 3DS, but...

BD1 had very annoying second part of the game which is complete repetitive slog. Who played it, he knows. I do not want to see it ever again in any game. However, I like building the village and I like the characters.

I enjoyed End Layer the most. Interesting story, building the moon base. But the voice over was somehow strange. And the boss fight was absolutely genious! Post game is ok. And both of these games have amazing word plays in the title that I greatly missed with BD2.

BD2 on Switch is mostly average game. The figures look like they are made of plastic and lack a soul. The game is too easy but I enjoyed grinding to develop all classes. This time, I completely skipped using any magic attack due to magic counters on every other mob. I missed that there is not any town or base to build. I missed any direct references to the characters from previous games. I enjoyed the card game and the boss fight but then there is no post game. Not a bad game but also not great.

I would buy the next game if there were the best aspects from previous games I enjoyed.

Again, the graphics of environemnt in SV is way worse than average Pokémon game. It is not about bluriness, it is about richness of the world and variety of textures which are at least fine in many games, not only XC. Then why could Pokémon game not look good? Also fps which drops in one scene with a single car. So far the game looks extremely bland. Sure, some kids are ok with it but only because they do not know they could get much, much more. And beware of generalizing, not all kids want poor content in their games. There are many who do not pick modern Pokémon games for many reasons and graphics is one of them because it is the first thing they see.

And yes, I will play it. But will I like it? I am not sure.

@WallyWest The difference between Xeno games and Pokémon in graphics is huge. I am not saying it has to look exactly like Xeno games but you see the amount of work when you compare both titles and Pokémon just looks very generic so far. I was willing to excuse it at SwSh because it was the first new gen on Switch and it was fun, but not anymore. GF has the money to make it appealing but honestly so far I've seen only few nice mons and the rest is an example of laziness. Terrastalizing might be good for pvp tho. And I still know nothing about the "story," I just hoped they would show something... more. Idk. However, I wish fun to us all, there are some promising mechanics.

Re: The New Fire Emblem Hero Was Created By A VTuber Designer

I am sorry Mika but this is not the way. Why does the character have eyes of different color? Is there a practical reason for it? And if so, why to cover the face with a strange X hair mark? Also, from what I googled, it looks like you really like the blue/red combination which is ok for some instant-catchy designs and pamflets but for a playable character it is not a good choice at all. Better to use archetypal complementary palette which fits to character design somehow imo. I will wait if there is any reasonable explanation for the use of colours and a strange parodic design, then I will see if I buy it. I am very sad with this one.

Re: New Subnautica Game Is In "Early Development"

First game was amazing but Below zero... not so much. I loved the fact that the player in 1 does not know absolutely anything. He has to discover everything on his own, collecting pieces of information like a puzzle while trying to survive and exploring growing depths. Below zero has like 3 useless storylines with no impact on the player and the main character who is supposed to be a scientist, acts very dumb and there is no trace of scientist behaviour. Plus part of the game happens on the ground in the snowy maze where nobody can see anything through the weather, very annoying.
