I never realised how many games the Gamecube actually had, for some reason I always thought the situation was more akin to the Wii U.
Also I must be misremembering because I was almost certain I had a Jade Cocoon game for the Gamecube but after failing to find it on this list I looked it up and I must have had it for the PS2, I suppose it has been a long time.
I'll give Nintendo the benefit of the doubt on Vice: Project Doom as people seem have enjoyed it back in the day. Kung Fu Heroes however looks dreadful, if Nintendo are only releasing two games a month they need toboth be high quality.
Or they could release Earthbound Beginnings, why they haven't done this yet is honestly baffling, or better yet they could add Gameboy games and give us Pokemon Pinball, although knowing Nintendo we'd be more likely to get games like Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle instead.
I think I need to see some gameplay of this on Switch to get a feel for it.
Also can someone who's played this answer this question? The review mentions Permadeath and Five playable characters, so is it saying that you only get five characters and then it's game over? or is it game over if any character dies and it's just you can pick from a pool of five? How does the permadeath work in this game?
Oh for goodness sake, if we're not getting SNES games, can we at least get Gameboy games? or at the very least Good NES games like Final Fantasy or Megaman?
Played this recently on PS4, it's ok. It has some pacing issues, the ending is a bit of a let down and some of the stories are clunkers, it's a little unintuituve in some places too but it's well written and there are some really effective moments, the Finch family feel really fleshed out, with Lewis and Sam being the highlights for me.
It's not an essential purchase by any stretch, but for what it's worth I usually can't stand walking simulators and I don't regret playing this.
@Aneira I can understand comparing the original to the Equivalent Mario Kart at the time, but from what I've heard of the remake I'm not expecting it to be able to compete with MK8 deluxe.
Wow this sounds kinda disappointing with it's short length and dull level design, I pre-ordered it for the discount so I'll give it a try still. I'm hoping it will at least be a decent little game.
I think i'm gonna download Cadence of Hyrule, I'll also be playing Team Sonic Racing as I want to get that finished before CTR comes out, I'm planning on playing Bloodborne too.
I'd be more upset about this if it wasn't EA. I haven't bought an EA game since Mass Effect 3 and with moves like this, the company are making it very easy for that to continue.
Not too much time for games this weekend but I'll try to fit in some Pokemon Platinum, some Bloodborne, and maybe some Team Sonic Racing as I want to finish that before CTR comes out.
Can I make a request that when it comes to covering leaks and rumours regarding E3, you don't spoil it in the title of the article or the thumbnail? It takes a lot of the excitement out of it for me when the internet reveals about three quarters of E3 before it even starts and it's difficult to ignore if the spoiler is in the title of the article.
Playing Bloodborne, hoping to defeat Gerhman. I'm also going to start Sonic Team Racing and a Plague tale: Innocence. As it's a bank holiday I'll also play some Smash and some Pokemon.
So first of all it's nice to get an assurance on any game in this day and age that there are no Microtransactions or day one DLC.
I've read that statement and it's strangely worded, it can be interpreted as no DLC at all, only free DLC or only ruling out day one DLC (where they mention they aren't charging 3 bucks for characters available at launch). There could well be more characters coming down the line, either free or paid.
Anyway I was on the fence about buying this, but I think i'm going to pick it up, hopefully it'll keep me interested until CTR comes out.
I'm gonna play some Bloodborne and Let's go Eevee this weekend, I'm aiming to make some significant progress on both. If I have any leftover time I'll play some Wargroove and Smash.
This weekend is kind of up in the air, I'll try to play some Bloodborne but between work and my social life i'll likely not have time for much else. If I do it'll likely either be Smash, Pokemon or Wargroove I play.
@UnbreakableAlex I have all three of these on Xbox 360, being mostly a portable gamer, the portability is the only reason i'm interested in rebuying, I just don't want to be £90 out of pocket for the privilege.
Capcom hiking the price on Switch won't make me consider buying it on PS4, it'll just make me wait for a sale, I'm in no hurry.
I'll be buying all three of these, when they're on sale.
There's been a moderate outcry about this so someone at Capcom PR may have heard, it doesn't mean I think they'll change their policies but further down the line there may be some big sales or a permanent discount.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #6 - Mega Man 3
Don't mind me, I'll just be over here...wondering why anyone would vote for the abomination that is the American box art.

@Doktor-Mandrake There's a Solaire Amiibo as well.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 31st)
Astral Chain once it arrives, and probably some Fire Emblem and some more of the Dragon Quest demo.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #5 - Super Mario Kart
The Japanese one is the best, it looks the most engaging and lively.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 24th)
I've downloaded the Dragon Quest demo so I'll be trying that this weekend, I'll also be playing some Pokemon.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #4 - River City Ransom / Street Gangs
The European one is hideous and the characters in the North American one look like they're about 45 so the Japanese one kinda wins by default.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #3 - Resident Evil 4
Easy one this week, the European version without a shadow of a doubt.

Japan easily, in the other two it looks like Samus is trying to leave the game.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 20th)
Crash Team Racing and Pokemon Platinum for me this weekend.
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th July (Europe)
Still undecided on Marvel, I'm interested it's just i'm getting FE and Wolfenstein next week so it's hard to justify cost wise.
Re: Crash Team Racing Online Leaderboards Reveal The Amount Of Connected Players Per Platform
It is a remake of a playstation exclusive, so this isn't too suprising. All three consoles seem to have a healthy player base though.

In order of priority
Deep Breath
Cuphead
MK11
FFX/X-2
FF12
Steamworld Quest
Ace Attorney Trilogy
and Katana Zero
Plus I still need to get Sekiro for my PS4, April's gonna be rough for my wallet, good for me though.

I've played the others so will likely get this one too.

But come on it must be Gen 8? What else could it be?
Re: Video: Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster And XII: The Zodiac Age Get New Switch Trailers
X/X-2 are good fun, will probably get them again.
12 I'm undecided on, I bought it for the PS2 and never finished so maybe i'll give that another go as well.
Re: Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package Secures May Release Date On Switch
