Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash has been out for a while now and it unfortunately doesn't seem to have performed too well. While this could potentially signal the end of the series, it nonetheless was a decent, if somewhat uninspired, swan song. Until recently, the adorable Chibi Robo amiibo was only available conveniently as a pack-in with the game, but it appears that this will soon change for North Americans.
Amazon recently announced via Reddit that the Chibi-Robo amiibo will be exclusive to the online retailer and that it will launch on 30th November for $12.99. Pre-orders will be made available on 19th November at 2:00 PM PST and units will be limited to just two per customer. The post claims that Amazon has "ample quantities", but stock is still expected to be gone quick.

Will sell better than the game!
Do that again and you're going to earn a ban ~Santa
You can stop spmaining now^
and nty I'll just get the game bundle unless it sells out @best buy...
But will it sell better than the game?
During localization... why didn't they give Chibi a 3-pin plug? u_u disgwace
I have a feeling this will sell better than the game...
Yaay! Generic functionality!
@sillygostly
actually, the amiibo has a lot of functionality in the game.
you level it up using score from stages, leveling it up allows you to use super mode more times, and allows you access to a figure dispenser which has collectible figures, and allows you to unlock the last world.
it's kinda integral to the game...not sure why the stand alone amiibo took so long.
My son has been playing the demo, so I've got him the game on it's own for Christmas, it came yesterday actually.
Zero interest in the game, but is the amiibo of any use elsewhere, like is there a Yoshi associated with it in Yoshi's Wooly World? A Mario Kart Mii helmet would be cool if they did one.
@khaosklub : I was referring to all of the other games that this amiibo is compatible with.
I heard the Amiibo may sell better than the game.
@Moon
LOL. It would be a nightmare in Europe since they have different plug/socket types.
I already got it with the bundle for ziplash, so I might pass on this.
I have the JP version, it's gorgeous, do yourself a favor just grab it!
I had a lot of fun with this game. I preordered it and played it everyday until I beat it 100%. I don't see what all the negativity is about. Were people expecting their mind to be blown!? Anyways a great game to play between rpg's.
I imported the JP Chibi Robo last month. It's a really amazing amiibo, very metallic-looking. It almost looks shiny when put in the light. I just wish it could plug into outlets with the plug!
If anyone's an amiibo collector here, they should definitely get it just for the looks alone, along with the Zip Lash compatibility.
I'm still waiting for a holiday sale where I can get this as a bundle with the game like a buy 1 get 1 50% sale or something. I may collect amiibo but I still like to have a use for them in games I own.
I got the bundle with the amiibo, it's a fun little game... Too bad the sh*tty review here and other places killed it before release. And don't come with the 6 is a decent score! 95% of gamers will go "6? Ok this sucks".
@sillygostly
It's compatible with other games?
Cool, but I'm still going to get the bundle when I get the chance
Cool. But I'm still seeing bundle copies at Walmart too. It'll be nice for people who just want the cute lil figure.
@Spideron it would be terrible as six out of twenty, but six out of ten is fine.
9-10-excellent
7-8 Great
6-Good, but has a few flaws
5-Mediocre
1-4-Unplayable Garbage. Do not waste time or money on it.
@Tempestryke 3 or less would be "unplayable garbage." 4 rated games are often just "okay" for fans of the genre, but may be lacking in content, have poor design elements, or may be plagued by a few bugs.
