The third advert in the Pokémon Puppet Trilogy is here, and it's a TELENOVELA.
If you don't know what we're talking about, check out the first puppet advert for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which featured a chaotic Munchlax on a cooking show, and the second, which combined Antiques Roadshow with a very wiggly Basculegion, and perhaps you'll notice a trend: With the phrase "Pokémon, but not as you know it", these adverts are combining classic TV genres with unexpected Pokémon guest appearances.
This new advert is done in the style of a Spanish telenovela, which are all about high drama, hammy acting, and frequent declarations of love... but the twist is that it's Pokémon!
If The Pokémon Company don't turn Lealtad de Fuego ("Fiery Allegiance") into a full TV show, we should riot.

Her exaggerated jerky movements were spot on!
I like these wonky ads much better than typical gameplay footage and big flashy word ones.
I wonder what will they do with those puppets once they're done with them.
They'll probably end up in some collectors house. Or destroyed in a studio backlot.
@Eel
Hopefully in a collectors house, to preserve history.
I'm starting to see the theme here and I'm very much into it. I really hope the next one's a reality TV styled one with something like Wyrdeer or something (though the much better fitting one would be Sneasler but what can you do).
I approve of these adverts
Yeah these have been awesome
...Latino here.
This one had me laugh wit how the ad was rather precise yet obviously playing to the Hisuian Growlithe punchline. The brown wash and chromatic aberration did not have the intended effect, bu that is because all of the telenovelas I saw actually had less-than-normal editing compared t other programmes. Maybe try using a regular camera-recorder (or something similar) while using at least 60 fps.
I wish there was a Spanish dub of this ad.
Just wait until the Human finds out that Growlithe had an affair with Gardevoir. Furniture will be thrown everywhere!
Well, it's not the model/actress Lopunny I was asking for, but Hisuian Growlithe is awesome too.
I thought Mario's game advertisements from 1990's 2000's was dramatic, weird, crazy but some others surprise you too.
@MarkyVigoroth I do think they should have done it in Spanish for the full effect! Buuuuut I get why they didn't.
Growlithe...... Porque?!!!! 😭.... Aaand scene.
Somebody deserves a raise.
I cackled when she said light my fire and the fireplace lit up.
