@Tsusasi A lot of the locals hate this thing. They don't like Japan turned into some sort of Theme park to wave at.

They can fix the Resolution while in handheld? The text is a little small and the boss cutscenes can run at lowered frame rates. Other than that I really enjoy the game.

Unless you were in Japan, you weren't getting Square titles on the Virtual Console. I think Nintendo does need to a better job but it is hard when other groups just want to sell their retro games that were on Nintendo platforms for almost triple the price it was on VC on other services.

@pjzelda Netflix I think wants Nintendo to pay to have the app on the switch. I personally like watching things on my laptop while I game, Myself.

@rjejr First off the Switch really doesn't need a browser and they don't want to put one on there due to webkit, and of course it will be webkit based due to Netfront being the one who has provided the browser to Nintendo in the past. The YouTube app on the 3DS was used an attack vector to get access to the system. Right now the only vulnerability on the switch is one with the hardware, that was fixed with a minor revision.

@AlexSora89 I'm pretty sure the company wasn't interested in buying up the company especially since if there were bad things that were done before Nintendo took them over, Nintendo could be held liable.

@AlexSora89 I don't think Nintendo wants there to be accidents with their name in the news being mentioned. I pretty sure there is.

@AlexSora89 Why can't Nintendo just let fans take Nintendo's unused IPs like Mario Kart and do something with them that Nintendo is unwilling to do? The fans are only doing it for the love of the series and money but the second part isn't the important part to worry about, a person has got to eat.

With 5ghz, the range is limited but the bandwidth is huge and 5ghz isn't as crowded as 2.4ghz. If I remember correctly the WiiU tablet utilized 5ghz and there wasn't a lot of lag on the console.

@MegaVel91 The website that was hosting info and linking the resources was ad-funded. They were making money off of property they didn't own. What is immoral is to claim that Nintendo shouldn't be stopping people from making bad Pokémon games with official assets. When you do that people can associate it with Nintendo. There were ads for Pokémon MMOs and Pokémon Online in rotating ads on game sites. They were using official content from Nintendo to advertise a fake game.

My only issues with Pokémon Uranium was the fact they used Pokémon that were in official games.

@MegaVel91 Do you think it is morally right to rip assets from a game and repackage them as something completely new? I'm fine with fan mods using the original games, that is fine. Nintendo has made it clear that this sort of thing isn't something they want. They don't people to make Pokémon games that are reusing assets. These assets are copyrighted, and aren't even considered fair use being used in this way.

Edit: Also does this wiki have ads? If it does then Nintendo did the right thing in taking it down.

What I'd do if I were him is argue those games aren't being actively sold by Nintendo except on a system that is dead and another that is dying and even then the games aren't all being sold.

All Android apps spy on their users. The Facebook app records things in the background and pings your location as much as it can.

@Razer I'm pretty sure Nintendo has lost code over the years. I'm actually excited to be able to play the third game again. I really like it and I hope there is support for same system multiplayer as well as online.

There is an issue with the code for Saint's row 4 being a bit unstable

@EightBitMan Nintendo would lose in the power game. Especially when the PS4 Pro and One X came out around it. Nintendo needed to do something new, something different, and something eye catching.

I am still hoping and reaching to find a reason for Isaac to be in Smash Ultimate.

@Jeronan I'm talking about mainline Nintendo games with shareholder friendly practices. I personally don't want Microtransactions though.

@ConanLives What Nintendo's problem is the lack of wide acceptance of microtransactions in every game they publish. Shareholders prefer to get the easy piles of money from that rather than actual game releases as that costs manpower, time, and the worst of all effort from Nintendo.

A friend of mine said that Andreas Katsulas would've been perfect as Ganondorf. I am not sure who would be a good fit for Ganondorf now. I think the director has a good feeling for what makes Zelda, well Zelda.

Arkane were the ones who ported the first Dishonored to modern systems, so I could easily see them wanting to put the first one on the Switch.

A lot of data for WiiU games were duplicated in order to provide faster loading times. Using different compression techniques as well as faster media allows for better loading in general.

I'd probably try to get a Dragonite, Mew, and Ditto. But I am still waiting on that official Mareep plush.

@shaneoh There is an Scroll in Elder Scrolls. It could've prevented Bethesda from making an Elder Scroll prop due to the trademarks filled. Scrolls could've used an Elder class scroll, it was something that Bethesda was worried about.

@shaneoh Scrolls was a little bit of a toss up though. Technically they had to defend The Elder Scrolls or they could've lost it. In this case Bethesda is in the right as the bug that happened was the exact bug that Fallout Shelter had.

@3Daniel I think if another Mario character got in, I feel like people would be more upset and claim that Waluigi took another character's slot. I could see Waluigi coming later as DLC.

@OorWullie @3Daniel He isn't the Camelot Character I want in Smash. If he gets in and Isaac doesn't even show up as an AT, I will be very upset. Golden Sun was practically snubbed in Smash 4. There was only one song added to the game and that was a rip from the DS game plus the quality just wasn't there for that track.

I'm thinking that the team ran into an issue with Unreal Engine 4 and decided to delay the game in order to get the game running even better on the Switch.

8-4 and the Treehouse have shared a lot of people between them.

@Jeronan There are three speed modes for the GPU of the Nintendo Switch, there is a docked speed, tablet base speed, and a third speed which is clocked higher than the tablet speed.

@Jeronan @OorWullie It could be using the secondary GPU clock mode.

That makes sense as the servers are in Japan so less travel between client and host server.

I like how clean it currently is, but Nintendo does know it needs some work and has said so.

All Nintendo needs to do is start charging $14.99 for their systems, but overcharge for everything else.

I'm glad to see the FTC really hunker down on this. The issue is that a lot of companies view owning physical hardware akin to being licensing the hardware.

@Rika_Yoshitake What makes things even worse is that he is saying that he wants to hack open the switch just to cheat at Pokémon. If I were to hack my switch, I'd like to play PSone and PSP games on it. Though I wouldn't really bother with it.

@sikthvash I had to get one as I really wanted a device like this. Though I need to get my Gamecube opened up and cleaned out. The open disc tray button and the reset button are pushed in.
