The problem will be how long will they allow us to move the Pokemon to Home. @Eel i'm half expecting them to release another pokeball plus type thing but made to be a seg-way between gen 6-7 and gen 8 &/or 9. i mean, a 2gb micro sd card could fit a ton of pokemon as each one takes up less than a mb of space leaving them plenty of room to add in their bank & home filters to it. they could also make bank have an offline mode and have a wireless link cable that connects to a switch dock's usb port that would send pokemon from bank into home or some type of transporter box.

something else to note is that humans in the pokemon world are a lot tougher than humans in our world.

its not like whips can be used only to harm, they can also be used to bind. in a game like PLA or the Orre games where pokemon will be outright trying to attack humans, it would make sense for whips or belts to be used to hold berserk pokemon back until they chill out kind of like this:
@Screen hackers can alter the ID & SID's attached to pokemon and have been able to do so for over a decade. they also tried something else like this with HOME as every mon that goes into HOME gets a unique tracking number attached to it to limit clones... but hackers can just clear that off that number in SW&SH making it so the mons get a fresh new code that "legitimizes" it in home. clones from other generations that go up though home also get individual tramp stamps and it doesn't affect anything if other clones of the same mon are alrwady in HOME. its also impossible for anyone to tell if a cloned egg from of a legit mon's egg is a clone as well. that being said, clones of legit mons are still beneficial, especially with shiny event only mythicals that where attached to movie tickets and never distributed again. hell, they even give out a bunch of clones in most events . thing here is that ILCA, GF, TCP, & Nintendo don't actually care if a mon is generated, cloned or a glitched so long as it falls into legal parameters and isn't something absurd like a surfing charizard or the infamous wonder guard spiritomb. this is also why its doubtful that all the clones made in BDSP from the glitch will get blocked by home, especially as clones are exact duplicate's of existing mons and will always look legit unless you find 3 of them that are 1 per game and have the same ID & SID and can't be breed. hell, they even made it harder for people to even tell if a mon is hacked when they added in ability patches that can give hidden abilities to any mon that has one regardless of generation. used to be that if you saw a blastoise from a gen 3 game with rain dish it would seem like it was hacked, but the ability patch changes that. they only times ever actually do anything to hinder hackers and cloners for good PR and nothing more. for example the shiny ranger manaphys are considered legit even by bank & HOME, regardless of them being the result of a glitch or oversight. though it is one of the 3 hardest pokemon to shiny hunt that can be shiny hunted, the other 2 being 3ed gen mew & jirachi...

the power suit gets stored insider her body when its not in use so its possible the whole thing gets converted into data when its stored.
@TheFox @Aurumonado the games have always been loosely canon to each other, but this whole thing was brought about by a legal mess and faulty copyright laws... to elaborate, this all started because ken penders started copyrighting sonic stories, charecters and artwork that he made while working at archie comics in 09. naturally, archie comics opted to sue him for it in 2010 but ended up failing to do so from loosing the work for hire contract that they claimed to have made penders sign leading to him winning the case in 2013. if said contract did exist, odds are penders somehow managed to destroy it before starting this mess. in 2011 penders opted to sue SEGA & EA claiming that dark brotherhood game infringed upon his copyright and claimed the nocturnus clan's appearance and narrative backstory being too similar to "his" dark legion. the lawsuit ended in a stalemate, but gave penders enough legal room to try suing again if SEGA ever used anything from dark brotherhood again. these lawsuits also resulted in a continuity purge in the archie comics at 230 issues in getting rid of or replacing all of the charecters made by penders that where specifically stated by him in the lawsuit as well as various others who where most likely phased out as a precaution and SEGA cracking down on archie comics to the point that it got kind of idiotic... Sonic was not was not allowed to completely fail. Sega made charecters could not die yay, forced plot armour no alternate costumes which might have something to do with the fact that most the charecters he "created" were just alt costumes... Sega made charecters could not get in any romantic relationships No crying like a bitch another one of their mandates was banning archie comics from using anything new from Dark Brotherhood, as well as Metal Overlord and Black Doom. they also could not use Eggman Nega nor make any references to sonic underground, sonic the movie(1996) or sonic x without Sega approving it. this whole lawsuit is one of the reasons i'm glad the sonic comics got taken over by IDW and given a proper fresh start and shedding off most of the mandates...

@DJP- not sure about the japanese version, but the more subtle dub version is still there on the top floor, which more or less says the same thing using "ate together at the same table" as a proxy for marriage.

@PBandSmelly the question is more of whether or not thats actually happening if this is another false accusation mob which tends to be common these days, especially on sites like twitter where someone sees someone else making accusations and starts making the same accusations until there's a mob of people making accusations with no evidence of their claim and potentially ruining someone's life over it.
when enough idiots spreading the same lie, it tends to override the truth resulting in people getting punished for things they didn't do and its even worse when the mob pressures their target into lying.
so, unless there's actual evidence of it, there's really no reason to trust the ones filing the reports.

@Eel i'm half expecting them to release another pokeball plus type thing but made to be a seg-way between gen 6-7 and gen 8 &/or 9. i mean, a 2gb micro sd card could fit a ton of pokemon as each one takes up less than a mb of space leaving them plenty of room to add in their bank & home filters to it.
they could also make bank have an offline mode and have a wireless link cable that connects to a switch dock's usb port that would send pokemon from bank into home or some type of transporter box.

something else to note is that humans in the pokemon world are a lot tougher than humans in our world.
rei/akari have been shown to have to take quite a beating just to be knocked out and drop from the height of a tree without any damage.
with enough training, any human in the pokemon world can match their strength with that of a pokemon.

its not like whips can be used only to harm, they can also be used to bind. in a game like PLA or the Orre games where pokemon will be outright trying to attack humans, it would make sense for whips or belts to be used to hold berserk pokemon back until they chill out kind of like this:

@Screen hackers can alter the ID & SID's attached to pokemon and have been able to do so for over a decade.
they also tried something else like this with HOME as every mon that goes into HOME gets a unique tracking number attached to it to limit clones... but hackers can just clear that off that number in SW&SH making it so the mons get a fresh new code that "legitimizes" it in home. clones from other generations that go up though home also get individual tramp stamps and it doesn't affect anything if other clones of the same mon are alrwady in HOME. its also impossible for anyone to tell if a cloned egg from of a legit mon's egg is a clone as well.
that being said, clones of legit mons are still beneficial, especially with shiny event only mythicals that where attached to movie tickets and never distributed again. hell, they even give out a bunch of clones in most events .
thing here is that ILCA, GF, TCP, & Nintendo don't actually care if a mon is generated, cloned or a glitched so long as it falls into legal parameters and isn't something absurd like a surfing charizard or the infamous wonder guard spiritomb.
this is also why its doubtful that all the clones made in BDSP from the glitch will get blocked by home, especially as clones are exact duplicate's of existing mons and will always look legit unless you find 3 of them that are 1 per game and have the same ID & SID and can't be breed.
hell, they even made it harder for people to even tell if a mon is hacked when they added in ability patches that can give hidden abilities to any mon that has one regardless of generation.
used to be that if you saw a blastoise from a gen 3 game with rain dish it would seem like it was hacked, but the ability patch changes that.
they only times ever actually do anything to hinder hackers and cloners for good PR and nothing more. for example the shiny ranger manaphys are considered legit even by bank & HOME, regardless of them being the result of a glitch or oversight. though it is one of the 3 hardest pokemon to shiny hunt that can be shiny hunted, the other 2 being 3ed gen mew & jirachi...

there is the possibility that she gets converted into a data being rather than a simple energy being like humans that enter the digital world in most of the digimon franchise.
it also goes the other way around with digimon being converted into a body made of flesh &/or metal mixed with data while in the real world while still being data beings beneath the surface
the power suit gets stored insider her body when its not in use so its possible the whole thing gets converted into data when its stored.

the games have always been loosely canon to each other, but this whole thing was brought about by a legal mess and faulty copyright laws...
to elaborate, this all started because ken penders started copyrighting sonic stories, charecters and artwork that he made while working at archie comics in 09. naturally, archie comics opted to sue him for it in 2010 but ended up failing to do so from loosing the work for hire contract that they claimed to have made penders sign leading to him winning the case in 2013. if said contract did exist, odds are penders somehow managed to destroy it before starting this mess.
in 2011 penders opted to sue SEGA & EA claiming that dark brotherhood game infringed upon his copyright and claimed the nocturnus clan's appearance and narrative backstory being too similar to "his" dark legion. the lawsuit ended in a stalemate, but gave penders enough legal room to try suing again if SEGA ever used anything from dark brotherhood again.
these lawsuits also resulted in a continuity purge in the archie comics at 230 issues in getting rid of or replacing all of the charecters made by penders that where specifically stated by him in the lawsuit as well as various others who where most likely phased out as a precaution
and SEGA cracking down on archie comics to the point that it got kind of idiotic...

this whole lawsuit is one of the reasons i'm glad the sonic comics got taken over by IDW and given a proper fresh start and shedding off most of the mandates...

in other words, it's a main series game that does not follow the same gen 1 format that most of the main series games and referring to it as a spin-off is the same as referring to any other main series pokemon game thats not RB or G as a spin-off

take note that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon & Pokemon Conquest are 2 different types of crossovers. PKMN:MD is one of the Mystery Dungeon series which is a series of games that have a similar format with most of them being made by Chunsoft with charecters licensed from other franchises
Pokemon Conquest/Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition is a more direct crossover.
Pokemon Colosseum/XD were done with gamefreak's oversight.

@DJP- not sure about the japanese version, but the more subtle dub version is still there on the top floor, which more or less says the same thing using "ate together at the same table" as a proxy for marriage.
