Next month sees the long-awaited arrival of the turn-based tactical RPG, Digimon Survive. We've already seen some trailers and new gameplay footage, and now we've got a commercial to add to this.
It shows a little bit of everything - including new cutscenes and gameplay, along with some characters and Digimon.
Bandai Namco also debuted some gameplay footage last month at a convention. It showcased a battle between Dokugumon and Takuma Momozuka's Greymon.

I can't say that I'm super excited about its release considering it's coming out on Xenoblade Day and I won't have the chance to play it for a fair while. Still probably going to pick it up though.
Coming out same time as xenoblade is not smart. Still may get this but I was more excited for it a year ago.
i just need lucemon....
Care 0.00000000000000 about this game, please make a big open-world Digimon game like Pokémon Scarlet Violet, Bandai.
This game really needs more trailers, especially showing features like how digievolution and digimon's stats/skills/etc are handled.
It won't beat Xenoblade hype, but it can definitely win over many digimon's fans with the right trailer and features.
@Floki yeah but they're not thaaaat good and not on Switch. I would like a new one, with a big budget and on my favourite hybrid console.Or a an improved port of Next Order, with new features, quality of life, I would take that too.
These last games like Cybersleuth were a baffling misdirection for the series, who thought making a pseudo-detective Digimon game was a good idea? And now an ultra-niche game like Survive.
well that answers everyquestion. still excited as digimon rule
@Floki "fresh ideas" that NO ONE cares about. With Pokémon, we still get mainline games. With Digimon, we only got weird spin-offs for 6 years.
You obviously don't follow the gaming market closely, have you heard about a tiny game called "Elden Ring" that sold 20 million copies?
And you obviously also don't play Pokémon. PLA was great and Scarlet and Violet look very promising.
Looks like there's an investigation mechanic with the phone which seems cool
@Floki Bandai Namco is the publisher for Elden Ring, Bandai at least co-financed the project, and a large part of that 1 billion dollars+ from the 20 mil sold copies goes to Bandai, so they could invest that money into new projects, and Digimon is the biggest franchise that Bandai really owns, if I'm not mistaking anything, all those other anime games they do, they're licensed, it's not Bandais IP, but they do fully own Digimon.
Well, you're probably one of the few people in the world who thinks the first open-world Pokemon is not exciting.
@HenHiro
I'm curious where you got the 20+ million copies of Elden Ring sold. I absolutely loved the game, one of my favorites of the year so far, but the last report I saw had it at 13.4 million copies sold and that was 2 or 3 weeks ago. I hope it goes strong for awhile to come, and possibly surpasses that 20 million copies mark, but I do feel it hurts it to inflate the numbers, even on a simple message board.
@Floki @HenHiro

"Well there isn't really a mainline digimon game, so stuff like Survive and Cybersleuth aren't spin offs. The closest thing a spin off for digimon probably digimon digital card battle."
adding onto this, digimon runs off a multiverse so the games, anime series & manga are all most likely within the same multiverse
a list of currently known connections...
ryo was originally from adventure 99 universe, jumped across timespace while fighting millenniummon even visiting the v-tamer universe along the way eventually settling in the tamers universe with amnesia upon arrival.
adventure 99's ENIAC laid down the groundwork for the rest of the digital worlds in the digimon multiverse.
during a fight with parallelmon, the 02 kids got dragged into v-tamers universe.
takuya from digimon frontier and v-tamer taichi got dragged into the same universe to deal with a threat before being returned to their own universes
the MCs from the digimon NEXT manga as well as the MCs from data squad/savers showed up in digimon world dawn and dusk.
the MCs of adventure 99, 02, tamers, frontier & savers were brought into the xros wars anime universe to help with the fight against quartzmon. the MCs of adventure 99 and 02 were brought from 2 different points in time, though it was never made clear which point in time TK & kari were brought from.
the taichi from adventure: (2020) was brought into the v-tamer universe by v-tamer taichi's crest of courage.
the xros wars manga takes place in v-tamer's future. additionally, the gatomon and wizardmon that showed up in the xros wars manga were from adventure 99's universe. at some point gatomon separated from kari and gathered up wizardmons scattered data from across the multiverse.
then theres the unique case of a universe with 2 different digital worlds connected to the same real world.... the digital world from digimon world 1 is the same one in redigitize decode, with redigitize being years into the future of DW1. at the same time, theres also the digital world from next order which is connected to the same real world.
sayo from digimon world dusk, rina and mirei both showed up in cybersleuth and hacker's memory. mirei's description on cybersleuth's website also confirmed that she never managed to get her physical body back afterthe events of redigitize
the meicoomon from tri showed up in next order which is also were she got cured of the apocalymon fragment inbetween the end of tri and last kizuna.
something else to note here is that the events of savers/data squad might have been caused by xros wars anime version of bagramon
