I would have wanted the original Tetris Attack or the very fun themed Planet Puzzle League from the DS era over this. Tetris Attack would have been good for those of us without an expansion, as I feel this version still has enough unique about it to justify playing it over Tetris Attack for Pokefans.

Several characters on a journey using cards to fight monsters--this looks like Baten Kaitos-lite to me.

I really wonder why they haven't expanded the game with DLC besides the fourth character. Would have loved more support since the game is BRUTALLY hard, and the only reason I dialed back how much I played was because of Dicey Dungeons.

@MichaelP I hated the dialogue. It's like nobody had the ability to sound unique. The speech patterns, humor, and swearing show Warren Ellis can't write dialogue or distinct characters. Crassness doesn't mean someone is badass or witty.

How typical of Nintendo and how fantastic that they know that it is better to delay and guarantee quality instead of rushing it out to meet a deadline. April 2023 isn’t too bad. Maybe by then, Russia can watch it too.

I believe that Batman doesn’t have to be introduced with issue one, or Superman for that matter—what they are now is very different than the beginning. Start with key pieces in fiction or gaming.

Why can’t Kemco release its titles from the 80s and 90s when they had half decent ones like Lagoon instead of mobile drivel?

How about RPGs for Wario, Luigi, Peach, and Waluigi? Their own chapters or even their own games? Kingdom Battle shows they all can do well in a tactical rpg.

It was a contrast given that I grew up with Sega basically trashing Nintendo heavily in their commercials and magazine advertisements. All that talk of blast processing and a hedgehog being cooler than a plumber, and suddenly, he’s on GameCube… followed by the Bandicoot too.

Too bad Crash never made it to Smash for a true closure to the battle of the mascots.

On the one hand, I want to give this game a 12/10 because of all the memories I have playing it MANY times, on the other hand, I want to subtract points from the score because of one fatal flaw this game has: it ends. 😢

It’s a reunion between two exes who had to separate even if they had a good thing together, but never stopped loving each other. Nintendo and Rare: awwww.

The water sequence really annoyed me for the boss fight and escape, and some platforming areas were unfair without using a YouTube walkthrough. I think the game earned its 10 though because it’s a quintessential British humor game that I enjoyed and story that pulled the heartstrings.

I feel Microsoft sees Nintendo as their preferred competitors, because they're not selling to the same demographic. Sony has really been their rival for a while, though some would argue that they're still slightly different demographics due to the Japanese games on PlayStation--however, Sony has been annoying Japanese fans for a while. Changing the button mapping for X and O to match American and European preferences instead of Japanese was really a bad idea, and they aren't fond of the censorship it seems.

Convincing editor Sammy Barker of Push Square is more of an impressive feat to me given he’s posted multiple incendiary headlines and shill pieces dumping on Nintendo. He is the main reason I don’t like going to Push Square and get my PS5 news elsewhere, and I would most definitely never want to be in the same room as him.

I also can’t even be bothered to get the NSO EP because it’s too expensive. And I also know some jerk who says games are meant to be expensive and if you can’t afford them you’re cheap or you’re poor and don’t deserve to play video games, yet the pricing makes it seem like he’s right even if the value for the cost is not worth it.

I remember we collected these as kids and eventually realized they’re the same game with different skins… like Berenstain Bears Extreme Sports on Game Boy.

The game I stop playing for a while and return to again and again continues to give me reasons to never delete this from my memory card to save space...Looking forward to this.
