Re: You Likely Won't Be Able To Catch 'Em All In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet

I would be perfectly fine with not having all Pokemon in the main series games. Honestly Game Freak, HAVE SOMEONE ELSE MAKE A GAME THAT'S LIKE STADIUM OR BATTLE REVOLUTION THAT CAN LET YOU PUT EVERYONE IN! World and story can be scrapped and just focus on only the battles!
I want to have all my Pokemon that I've accumulated since Gen 3 in a single game and not stuck in Pokemon Bank.

Re: Shin Megami Tensei III Is Coming To Nintendo Switch Alongside The Fifth Game

ATTENTION POKEMON FANS WHO DON'T KNOW ABOUT SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI! YOU WANT A REAL CHALLENGE WITH A BRANCHING STORY BASED ON YOUR CHOICES? Check out the series that pretty much STARTED the monster collecting genre. Pokemon popularized it, SMT had started it with Digital Devil Story:Megami Tensei which came out in 1987. Infact, Persona 5 is a SPIN OFF of SMT! Take a moment to think about that.

Re: Nintendo To Cut Back On Mobile Games After Animal Crossing Success, Says Report

I have mixed feelings. First off, I'm glad we are seeing more support for consoles, but it has been proven to be capable of success on mobile with Pokemon Go. Hopefully, they do what they're known for doing with innovation and actually focus on mobile games that actually are different from the norm, again, as proved by Pokemon Go. Something like an exercise game that is like Ring Fit Adventures in some way.

Re: Is Anime Expo 2020 Teasing A New Announcement For The World Ends With You?

@Joriss It's a totally different experience compared to the original DS port. The Switch version is cumbersome when docked, and regular handheld mode feels a bit off. The best way is handheld, but remove the Joycons and use the touchscreen exclusively. Final Mix is based off of the smartphone port, so it feels more comfortable playing in Tablet Mode.

Re: Platinum Studio Head Doesn't Think Next-Gen Hardware Will Be As "Ground-Breaking" As The Switch

Series X: We focus more on Digital and pushing for streaming now! MOST OF OUR GAMES ARE ON OTHER SYSTEMS TOO! Forget gameplay, look how pretty cutscenes are! Oh, and the system could be compromised to hackers if the GPU can be a weak point for them.

PC: We can be cheaper at start, but you must upgrade the hardware to stay up to date every two months! We're also the most vulnerable platform for hackers and viruses! Also, screw physical. DIGITAL ONLY! And you need internet for a lot of games!

PS5: We want to allow all previous system games to play, but we only have the controller to show.

All of the Above: WE ARE EXPENSIVE!!!

Switch: Able to play anywhere, groundbreaking at launch, and proves Graphics don't matter. Got physical games, and is the stronghold platform of Indies. Only real issue is Joycon Drift. Costs only $300.

Switch has proven to be the more pleasurable choice for someone who wants physical games, doesn't have internet suitable for online games, and not worry about viruses and hackers ruining the platform remotely to enjoy.

Re: Review: The Elder Scrolls: Blades - A Grindy Free-To-Play Bastardisation Of Bethesda's RPG Classic

@Judal27 I played that Kirby game and it is LEAGUES superior. The game doesn't force you to spend money constantly, runs smoothly if not playing online, which isn't mandatory, and if you do pay, you get actual longterm benefits that makes it a worthwhile investment. One that removes the need to spend any more after a certain point. $50 may sound like a lot, but after that, you get around $20 worth of Gem Apples every for FREE, and GUARANTEED, every 12 hours. That feels like a fair trade off that many F2P games don't do. Haven't heard anything bad about that.

@Rohanrocks88 yes it's an actual NES cart that you can play on the NES. There's reproduction carts for rare games and ROM Hacks as well. There's people who say it is very different to play on a retro console than a modern one due to things like input lag etc. adding to the challenge. Plus despite the SNES being around, there's still many who had the NES in the 90's.

Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Create An Apple Arcade-Style Service For Smartphones?

Saro

People would prefer the cheaper option. At first one would argue it'd be smart, but keep this in mind, smartphones are usually more expensive than the Switch, plus they force you to buy new ones in half the time of a system's lifespan. What would you prefer? A $300 system for about 7 years, or a monthly subscription on top of having to spend roughly $500 twice on new phones three years at most average in the same amount of time? Not including the shovelware argument here just the cost for the platform.

Re: Animal Crossing's Tom Nook Made The Front Page Of The Financial Times Today

Wow. Actually read that article, and this really is interesting. There are times where a virtual market place is actually taken seriously. Oh god, who remembers the whole hyperinflation of the marketplace for Gaia Online? That actually became a subject for academic study if I recall right.

Let the implication sink in... Tom Nook's practices being taught seriously in a classroom.
