I would be perfectly fine with not having all Pokemon in the main series games. Honestly Game Freak, HAVE SOMEONE ELSE MAKE A GAME THAT'S LIKE STADIUM OR BATTLE REVOLUTION THAT CAN LET YOU PUT EVERYONE IN! World and story can be scrapped and just focus on only the battles! I want to have all my Pokemon that I've accumulated since Gen 3 in a single game and not stuck in Pokemon Bank.
@Sakaixx the 3ds got SMT4 exclusively, and still is, so I doubt SMT5 is going to be multiplatform when it was originally revealed to be Switch exclusive in the first place. Same for the Nocturne remake with the PS5 on the horizon.
ATTENTION POKEMON FANS WHO DON'T KNOW ABOUT SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI! YOU WANT A REAL CHALLENGE WITH A BRANCHING STORY BASED ON YOUR CHOICES? Check out the series that pretty much STARTED the monster collecting genre. Pokemon popularized it, SMT had started it with Digital Devil Story:Megami Tensei which came out in 1987. Infact, Persona 5 is a SPIN OFF of SMT! Take a moment to think about that.
Most likely was due to it violating the CERO rating it got. That's the only real reason. Otherwise, there's not much of a problem if they were a higher rating. If I recall correctly, uncensored tits aren't an issue in Japan, unless it's with Sony.
Wow this reminds me of the YouTube app for the Vita I used to use. Went from normal to only able to watch videos through recommendations while videos through searches wouldn't work, to dead.
I have mixed feelings. First off, I'm glad we are seeing more support for consoles, but it has been proven to be capable of success on mobile with Pokemon Go. Hopefully, they do what they're known for doing with innovation and actually focus on mobile games that actually are different from the norm, again, as proved by Pokemon Go. Something like an exercise game that is like Ring Fit Adventures in some way.
Want it to be confirmation of a second wave of DLC that allows EVERY Pokemon to get into Sword or Shield. Unfortunately, as it was a hit despite not selling a lot for Pokemon... It's Let's Go Johto.
It sucks to cost $90, but with the dlc, there looks to be FINALLY enough content to make these games worth getting... Still wish these allowed all Pokemon in the game, not only 75%.
Same writers, same director. At least we're going to have solid consistency, and I don't mean mediocrity. Imagine if Michael Bay got to direct the sequel. That would SUCK!
@Heavyarms55 Correct. Playing like that actually is the best way surprisingly. Too cumbersome with the Joycons no matter if docked or handheld. If it's similar to a mobile port, play it like that then if touch screen is usable. Just keep the Joycons close so the system still picks them up.
@Joriss It's a totally different experience compared to the original DS port. The Switch version is cumbersome when docked, and regular handheld mode feels a bit off. The best way is handheld, but remove the Joycons and use the touchscreen exclusively. Final Mix is based off of the smartphone port, so it feels more comfortable playing in Tablet Mode.
@SpicyBurrito16 That's good to hear at least. Still kinda wary due to it being still published by Activision. They seen to be rushing games to be released more often these days.
No offense to the fans, but I'll laugh if the THPS remaster tanks and this game is better. There's a possibile chance of that happening after THPS 5 if the remaster is done by the very same developer. Still, supporting SkateBIRD regardless. It's too cute to pass up.
Series X: We focus more on Digital and pushing for streaming now! MOST OF OUR GAMES ARE ON OTHER SYSTEMS TOO! Forget gameplay, look how pretty cutscenes are! Oh, and the system could be compromised to hackers if the GPU can be a weak point for them.
PC: We can be cheaper at start, but you must upgrade the hardware to stay up to date every two months! We're also the most vulnerable platform for hackers and viruses! Also, screw physical. DIGITAL ONLY! And you need internet for a lot of games!
PS5: We want to allow all previous system games to play, but we only have the controller to show.
All of the Above: WE ARE EXPENSIVE!!!
Switch: Able to play anywhere, groundbreaking at launch, and proves Graphics don't matter. Got physical games, and is the stronghold platform of Indies. Only real issue is Joycon Drift. Costs only $300.
Switch has proven to be the more pleasurable choice for someone who wants physical games, doesn't have internet suitable for online games, and not worry about viruses and hackers ruining the platform remotely to enjoy.
@Judal27 I played that Kirby game and it is LEAGUES superior. The game doesn't force you to spend money constantly, runs smoothly if not playing online, which isn't mandatory, and if you do pay, you get actual longterm benefits that makes it a worthwhile investment. One that removes the need to spend any more after a certain point. $50 may sound like a lot, but after that, you get around $20 worth of Gem Apples every for FREE, and GUARANTEED, every 12 hours. That feels like a fair trade off that many F2P games don't do. Haven't heard anything bad about that.
Well, this isn't shocking. Honestly, Bethesda not only annihilated their rep, they're becoming worse overall. From this, ruining Doom Eternal with a post launch update, and recently adding Battle Passes to Fallout 76(on top of the rest of that dumpster fire, we should not play ANY Bethesda games to teach them a lesson that quality and keeping one's word MATTERS.
This will be very interesting. I'm curious about what kinds of songs that can be played on that. Even if it's not the right octave, imagine something like Undertale's Megalovania being played.
I'm not one to complain about cheap games if they're fun, like Akane, Sparkle, or Timber Man Vs. for example. Asset Flips on the other hand, aren't worth it. If I recall, on top of constant ads and MTX, that's another problem plaguing the unsalvageable mobile market.
A game that's pretty much pay to win and is needing constant internet connection to play. My verdict: WORSE THAN GARBAGE! At least that stupid PETA game is playable offline.
@Rohanrocks88 yes it's an actual NES cart that you can play on the NES. There's reproduction carts for rare games and ROM Hacks as well. There's people who say it is very different to play on a retro console than a modern one due to things like input lag etc. adding to the challenge. Plus despite the SNES being around, there's still many who had the NES in the 90's.
People would prefer the cheaper option. At first one would argue it'd be smart, but keep this in mind, smartphones are usually more expensive than the Switch, plus they force you to buy new ones in half the time of a system's lifespan. What would you prefer? A $300 system for about 7 years, or a monthly subscription on top of having to spend roughly $500 twice on new phones three years at most average in the same amount of time? Not including the shovelware argument here just the cost for the platform.
@Chibi_Manny Facebook has banned the word "wiid" and "Trash Plant" due to it relating to drugs and because the algorithm is stupid. You can see that happening...
People have to be creative with how they can earn a living during these times. I'm surprised more that we're not hearing about this kind of stuff more.
@Stouticus the first time could be seen as that attempt of being noticed, but now it just feels like they're too deluded with themselves, thinking they are real victims.
Wow. Actually read that article, and this really is interesting. There are times where a virtual market place is actually taken seriously. Oh god, who remembers the whole hyperinflation of the marketplace for Gaia Online? That actually became a subject for academic study if I recall right.
Let the implication sink in... Tom Nook's practices being taught seriously in a classroom.
Impressive for the age of the kid to pull something like this, but very concerning... I seriously am wishing scalping can be deemed as a serious crime seen as a form of hijacking the economy in some way that warrants a prison sentence. That or scalpers must have a valid business permit to sell so that they're held liable.

@Axelay71 Xbox will not have any exclusives for several years. Microsoft confirmed that. Said it's not to pressure players to get the new Gen.

@RainbowGazelle I wasn't aware of that. Thanks. Still the backwardness applies to many questionable censorship laws they have, so not too surprising.
