@TG16_IS_BAE: Nintendo isn't just a multi-million dollar company,
there are tens of thousands of workers there trying to make a living and they do a good job most of the time.
Hackers should at least respect and stay away from the source material until it isn't sold anymore.
I doubt many kids have seen this because the gameplay and theme is not appealing to most kids. It's an observer/cam game with life sim and detective adventure elements. You basically watch a bunch of cams to observe people and gather pieces of info about them, and if you're a good snoop you will find the nudity even in the demo.
I guess there would be enough room not just for all N64 games on a single Switch cartridge, but for all NES, all SNES, and all Game Boy games as well. Four generations of Nintendo (1983 - 2001) on a single Switch cart.
Compared to when it was new, I took a step back. 1 hour a day is enough to get everything done.
But sometimes people come to visit and it can turn into another 5 hour stretch.
However, I'm 555 hours in which makes it my most played Switch game, beating even Smash and Breath of the Wild. And I'm still missing fossils, I have nothing completed at all, and when I get over my lazyness I have to rearrange my flower gardens too, so yeah great game, still tons of content to unlock.
The Wii / Wii U and DS/3DS were groundbreaking and innovative.
The Switch is just the hybrid it needs to be to survive in the market (there was no other way, I predicted it) but it is missing all the innovative features and most of Nintendo's charm and most of Nintendo's quality control. Though people still like it because Nintendo got two important things right this time: Good marketing, and tons of games!
A Nintendo/Switch successor needs to reintroduce some of the crazy good things the Wii/U and 3/DS did.
Because of those damn item duplicators I now have less desire to work in the game.
I just arranged my 6 ore stones after weeks of hit and miss, to get 1-3 gold nuggets per week, and along comes someone and dupes 30x gold nuggets. That's trash! You cheaters should dig your heads in the ground because you make it miserable for everyone else. Just like in real life.
Fallout Shelter is a good Switch f2p game from Bethesda, but this here... Man, the awful combat is probably the worst I've ever seen. Can't remember anything worse. This doesn't help Skyrim at all.
Some of GoldenEye's cheats were exclusive to button input codes.
Extra multiplayer characters, invisible multiplayer, and line mode!
You couldn't get them any other way. You had to input the code!
If Perfect Dark had similar codes, then some cool hidden bonuses were probably stripped away.
Perfect Dark, one of my Top 10 games on the N64, and I know from two of my friends that it is their number 1 game on the system.
This was the game of the future in 2000, and we were playing multiplayer every night for months.
4 players and only 15 fps? We didn't care, at the time there was nothing better or more fun than Perfect Dark.
It's a shame they were sold to Microsoft, I'd have loved to see Joanna (and Conker and Fulgore) in Smash, but only the Perfect Dark remote mines made it into Melee.
Oh, and happy 20th anniversary! Majora's Mask and Paper Mario, too!
1. Super Mario Bros. 3 2. The Legend of Zelda 3. StarTropics 4. Wario's Woods 5. Kid Icarus 6. Kirby's Adventure 7. Solomon's Key 8. Vs. Excitebike 9. Punch-Out!! 10. Super Mario Bros. 2
Once I got the 10.000.000 bells for the turnip achievement, I was done. I can finally go back to sleep in until 2pm on Sundays. That's worth more than bells can buy.
My solution for this would be bringing the rating system back that the Wii U and 3DS have. You have to at least play a game for 1-2 hours before you can rate it: 5 stars for great games, 1 star for garbage.
Also Miiverse! Miiverse was amazing! Even niche games had their fans and looking up discussions revealed their true value. The Miiverse community didn't let the stinkers slip but it embraced the overlooked and underrated gems. You always knew what you were getting into. And you were able to see who was a trash talker and who owned the game.
Those two features really worked wonders in finding out about the quality of games.
Celeste wasn't for me. I got it and Hollow Knight around the same time Yoshi's Crafted World was released, and that one is one of the best platformers I ever played so Celeste and Hollow Knight had little chance to stand out or to convince.
It's either ''Ich spreche sehr gutes Deutsch." oder "Ich spreche sehr gut deutsch."

Even the title screen said VISUALSHOCK! SPEEDSHOCK! SOUNDSHOCK! And it didn't lie.
PS. This being the only one isn't true. Later stages of Dynamite Headdy were extremely impressive and blast-processy as well.
Friend codes were always a better and more logical and practical and safer thing.
Only lazy people are against it because of laziness and stupid people are against it because of stupidity.
My kids learn all the negatives about money and banks from me, thanks. We don't need a game to take away my duty, especially when it's obviously just baiting kids and is a huge advertisement for a horrible corporation that should have never come to existence in the first place.
I analyzed both item duplicate glitches and this one is relatively harmless.
The old one was 12.000.000 bells in 60 seconds.
This here is like 50.000 bells in 60 seconds.
I gave up all hope to see anything new about MOTHER games here in the West.
MOTHER 2 is my favourite RPG and it probably, unfortunately, easily, will always be.
25 years of role play gaming haven't changed a thing!
Well... except MOTHER 3, that one came really close. ^^
I know, I know, Chrono Trigger, Terranigma, Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Undertale, great stuff came and went, but EarthBound is the true love.
6 out of 7. How am I supposed to know all the insects in the game? It's been only 3 of 12 months.
It was a 50/50 chance between Rice Grasshopper and Titan Beetle.
Damn you, time travellers!
Asdvinie Hearts is a pretty good 40-50 hour JRPG (for just one playthrough - completion takes more time) that costs just a few bucks.
Most of their RPGs feel a like a mix of 16-bit SNES and 90ies PC-JRPG. All of Kemco's RPG's are around the 6/10 - 8/10 mark in my book, which puts them over the mediocrity of many other RPG (especially Western) producers.
Yes, they are not very original (and graphics and music repeat often) but the mechanics are mostly the same as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, so if you like those games, there's nothing to argue about the gameplay of Kemco's RPGs.
Sure, they're not as great as Nintendo's, Sega's, Square Enix's, or NIS America's RPGs, but keep in mind they are around 10 bucks instead of 60!
Kemco's games don't seem to have any major or minor bugs (their playtesters seem to do a great job) so with an unbiased perspective, Kemco is still one of the better RPG devs and they get way too much criticism for their efforts.
If the Switch hadn't such a big library of fantastic RPGs I would pick up Kemco RPGs more often.
If you talk about Excitebike 64's soccer mode (the worst little extra mode in the game) instead of the procedurally generated desert race mode (a rarity at the time) and the fantastic uphill and downhill modes, then I feel the writer missed the real qualities of the game. However, if they had put a little more effort into the soccer mode, then Nintendo could have had their own Rocket League back in 2000. Anyway, give me Excite Truck Remastered or F-Zero 99 and I won't need any more racing games this gen.
In 20 years, hundreds of Zelda clones were made.
But the unique Majora's Mask is that one ingeniuos game that no-one was able to copy.
For this it's one of my most respected videogames of all time.
Burnin Rubber was my first favourite racing game and it's still great, 38 years later.
Great times. It's mindblowing that back then we had to wait years for good racers like Pitstop II, Excitebike, Kikstart II, and Buggy Boy to be created and released. Those times when the first F-Zero and Super Mario Kart were a decade away.
Hahahah, everyone can dump off their pseudo-review without having even played the game on that stupid unreliable website?
Metacritic, you are THE SH1T in terms of gaming. The real! And you will never be good, ever.
Honestly, who is dumb enough to take this serious? Metacritic was a bad idea since the very beginning, and the weekly sh1tstorm that's happening over there is clear evidence.
My hierarchy theory holds up pretty well so far. Here's the one for Square Enix:
Final Fantasy > Dragon Quest > Mana series > Chrono Trigger > TAITO / Bubble Bobble > the Quintet trilogy > Marina Liteyears > the rest (other Final Fantasy games / Tomb Raider / etc.)
I hope it just continues like that. The safest and fairest.
It's a fun joke, and I view the timetraveler-stamp as something that renders your game forever incomplete. Once you get it you're done, marked, chipped under your skin, like the game that gives you no more than 99% completion on your save file when its scan algorithms register cheating, while everyone else can still get 100%.
Some guy even thought the reduction of interest he got from Nook's bank was Nintendo's way to punish his cheating until he found out that it's just a recent update that happened to everyone.
I will never time travel. I have just too much respect for the vision of the designers and the work of the developers.
Time travel is cheating, obviously. It would devalue the work I put into the game, it would devalue my island, devalue my save file. It would also mess up many other Switch games I play, like the times and dates in Smash Bros.
And since I'm somewhat proud of being a pro gamer it's out of the question anyway, especially since Animal Crossing is a game that is sitting at the lowest level of difficulty. I will 100% complete the game in the right way. It will take one year, but that's exactly what I want from it!
Everything living that you can catch - you can let it free again!
And you never have to axe trees - you can dig em up with roots unharmed and find a better place for them!
The game teaches kids a good and a toxic way. That's way better than a one-sided perspective, way better than the uninformed and limited horizon of that UK news outlet!
However, before a game teaches anything to kids, we have to teach our kids that it's just a game, and even the most realistic games are not like reality. Make sure your kids understand the difference, then the content is secondary.
I can stomach standing up and switching games, no problem. The time investment of 10 seconds is worth it to me.
My inner alarm bells would ring on the day I get too lazy to change a damn cart/disc/physical media.
Whatever happens, if I get to the level of immovability that most people here entertain, then please take my console and kick me out of here.
What a fantastic game! I wish I still had it.
Wetrix is my #2 puzzle game of the 64-bit era,
with only Tetrisphere topping it.
Where are the remasters???
I look forward to it. Yes, you're playing a mentally deranged person, but I don't care. I hate the thousands of games where killing doesn't make sense. At least here it does.
Since it's the only Nintendo game a blind person can play without problems, they should make it even easier for blind people to jump into the game, with every option in the menus being a different sound effect.
Also, count me in, Rhythm Paradise on Wii is a musical masterpiece.
I'm ok with ARMS fighters joining Smash and the more the merrier, but I really don't care who it is. The most popular ones are in the game already, as spirits at least (Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, MinMin, Ninjara, Twintelle), so Fighters Pass #2 probably starts off with upgrading spirits, ATs and Mii costumes to fighters. And here's where I start to care: If spirits/costumes can now be fighters, then Chibi-Robo can still join Ultimate and justice will be restored.
Of course they could also take Helix or Max Brass, and follow this up with more 3rd Party characters, and we'll see no spirits/AT/costume upgrades at all.

10 out of 10 for the Wii (I'm sure I would even have all games if this was a Top 30),
and 7 out of 10 for the DS (bought all of them except the 3 Pokémon games because the main Pokémon games are the most overrated and boring Nintendo games imo. I like most of the spin-offs though)
I never bought a game for my 3DS and 3DS XL. I found a copy of Super Mario 3D Land on a bus stop, so it's 1 out of 10.

One of Animal Crossing's features of these classic real-life sculptures and paintings, is to tell the fake from the original art.

Also, count me in, Rhythm Paradise on Wii is a musical masterpiece.
Re: Poll: Which ARMS Fighter Should Join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
