Watching it and it's not good. Most of the time feels like a syfy channel generic low budget zombie show that's light on any scares big on bad dialogue and then when it references Resi stuff it's either cringey or just very out of place.

@themightyant still seems entirely unnecessary. I could easily fly through the opening chapters in a day.
Just will catch out a few last minute purchasers from buying the game and dlc.

Just doesn't interest me in the slightest dispite being big into star wars just zero excitement for this one.

Sony still killed the PSP store and i believe it will still kill ps3 and vita with its push for its new plus services.
Tbh Xbox really is the best at keeping its store going but never gets any recognition for it. I can play xbox or (most) 360 games i downloaded years ago on a series s/x no upgrade fee no subscription etc
Can I play my Ps3 games on ps4 or 5 nope subscription streaming only. (Technical issues I know but even ones I bought on ps3 that are on the streaming option, I can't stream without paying ps plus) ps plus is only now just slowly adding ps1 and ps2 games after a long absence

Guessing this was planned I'm case of a massive outcry from public as a way of making the passing of the console torch easier and when it turned out n reality few people cared past a few mic on the street interviews they scrapped it. Once 16 bit came in most kids were done with 8bit.

Maybe you work on the game you are working on now and ensure its decent and people are looking forward to it rather than talking about whats next.
We got colours, origins recently and frontiers is next.
Sega should make sure Frontiers is good and release it when it's ready not rush to another game or release it buggy and unfinished because its Sonics birthday or whatever.

Ha just no, sorry we had a laugh at the poor animation and dialogue of those cut scenes, YouTube ran with it and it s an interesting story behind the non Nintendo zelda games and hotel mario game for the cdi but it's all just rubbish that should never darken the franchises door again.

Decent additions there and while yeah pretty much any game on the megadrive nso I can play on sonic gems collections, ones I have on wii vc/xbox store, various megadrive collections on xbox 360, switch, steam etc or the Megadrive Mini. (It's mad how much sega re-release them but ignore their other consoles) It is very handy to have option on switch that can just boot up for 30 mins of quick play.

Great news. These games have gone from mostly being on dead systems apart from 5 of course to being on whatever your preference is. Though can we get 1 and the 2 that make up 2 out to complete the collection.

I really don't get people that straight away assume that dlc is bad or its announcement means a games clearly unfinished. While there is bad dlc and dodgy practices (Fighting games locking on disc characters was a big one few years ago) most dlc ive bought is just more of the game I lenjoyed without having to wait years for a sequel but never truly essential that needed it to enjoy the base game.

I enjoyed it but was seriously taxed by all the glitches.
Game crash error, people getting stuck, invisable starts and framerate death.
If they could get rid of all these and throw in a few extra modes as it's very short ie a boss rush and like endless hoard endurance mode, maybe a vs mode

Hey I'd buy a n64 mini in a heartbeat.
If they add gamecube and GBA/GB games to NSO that would be brill. The wii with its controls etc might not translate easily at all.
Why WiiU skip GAmecube under his watch so? The wii u has the ability to be a gamecube just lacks disc.

Seeing some of the extreme comments against modding consoles for legitimate back up purposes well they obviously never had the likes of wii break through age, with years of paid for VC games lost and no actual Nintendo approved way to get them back and with shops closing down etc it's now harder to fix.
Things get old and break down, older consoles disk readers for example can become dodgy if I have another way to play my legitimately owned gamecube games on my elderly system what's wrong with that rather than having to go find a repair or second hand console for 100 currency units min.

Yikes that's all the bad things. Though Studio Ghibli were only involved with the original japan exclusive DS game and Wraith of the white witch . They weren't officially invoked in ni no kuni 2 onwards.

Id love to see some thing good for the franchise but it's Konami so i'm waiting for like an interactive slot machine, silent hill mobile gatcha game and maybe a badly handled port for switch. Probably some NFT rubbish too.

I think alot of us want some kinda switch Pro, called that or switch 2 or Ultra Switch . I'm enjoying everything about the switch still except its aging hardware

While I love my wii U. This is a further nail in its already over nailed coffin. The console itself was great. The marketing, message, name,launch titles and of course the huge software droughts and third party lack of support etc just well seemed everything that could go wrong happened (or was done wrong ).
Absolute opposite of the Wii and it made the N64 and Gamecube days game droughts look better by comparison. Only the 3ds turnabout and Nintendo deep pockets stopped it being Nintendos Dreamcastlike swansong, it really was their sega satarn where left them badly needing a hit afterwards luckily Switch is a massive success.

I understand the Advance War delay but unfortunately Russia's war of aggression isn't likely going away anytime soon.
Other war like games and films etc will no doubt be released before it at this stage.
Maybe they could release it and donate some profits to the red Cross etc to help the victims of the conflict

I liked Reggie as a fun meme generating MC for directs etc but he's a PR and marketing man, I remember he was asked a question about his biggest failure and it was that 3ds price he said, which is alot of spin interview answer. Like nothing about the Wii Us life of disaster. Also didn't he not know what a virtual boy was. I'll read his book but I'd take alot of it with a pinch of self PR salt, also we don't need his opinions on gaming every 3rd day since he left

It's already in backlog but good precedent in regards to older dlc. Hopefully they will continue to add others previously released as well as future dlc releases for games

All these this should be dlc comments but without really knowing the changes how can you tell.
I dot want Nintendo permanently stuck into a game that's 5 years old, like development wise that really could prevent new ideas, improvements etc

The switch has had a long land still going life cycle we are going see Series sequels on same hardware like this and BOTW2.
5 years on seems fair its not levels of say a fifa every year.(though that sells )

Zelda is not really about plot or characters or even action but the feeling of exploring and solving puzzles. Can't see a movie doing it justice at all.
I'd prefer we let video games be games.

I don't get those saying it's easily available here Its only easy if you already have the game or a wii u. With limited wii us in existence, eshop closure next year and the only other option being the gamecube or wii u disc second hand for an ever increasing price wiis and gamecubes don't play well with modern tvs either. So yeah Wind waker needs a re release to be accessible.

I'm not familiar with this series but aside from from T Hawk mentioned in the article there's the similiat Nightwolf from Mortal Kombat and Chief Thunder in Killer Instinct.

It would be really nice to have all zelda mainline games available on one machine. Wii U comes closest with 1,2 LTTP, OoT, MM, WW,TP, SS, BoTW along with ,Minish Cap.Spirit tracks and phantom hourglass

EVO 2020 was cancelled due to a massive scandal centred arround its CEO with many companies pulling games before the event was cancelled entirely. Sony and some other crowd bought it in 2021 while most companies returned then but nintendo didn't. The Smash Pro scenes no stranger to horrible scandals either.
So I'd imagine nintendo wants to keep it's return to the competition scene under its control.
Tbh wouldn't care myself if never was another competitive smash scene.

I don't need to see Zelda tainted and tbh it's always been a series based on gameplay over plot so it's a bad fit.

Good to see they are fixing these. Finally upgraded my NSO due to mario karts dlc and majoras mask.which pushed me into okay it's got some value now camp (I still need to play it dispite having it on wii and wii u VC just never got arround to it) got the switch n64 controller already which was just gathering dust until now

Yes I wish I could access it indefinitely or better still have all my vc games transfer to switch (particularly anything without a dual screen or wii remote as I can see they would need extra work to be playable)
Those 13 million wii us ain't going last forever though. Eventually broken or mostly forgotten.
Way more 3ds family systems out there but think the sad fact is most people just move on .
I'd love to see actually eshop figures pre this announcement to see what percentage is using it.

I remember when this happened for Wii. I bought last few games I wanted but some stuff had quietly been delisted over the years from non nintendo, so seemed it was quietly dying for years.

When Sony did same with horribly short warning for its older systems I bought loads of PS3 games.
They backtracked but still killed the psp store I believe.
Now I don't think in all honesty I've played any of those ps3 downloads once since.

Microsoft do it much better but still few things that can't leave my 360 cause never supported them.

Course Steam is the gold standard but that's accross any kind of computer not one specific gaming device

@EightyTwoStu the May seems to be for credit cards , which are already gone from Europe as an option on 3ds and Wii U already few years ago.
Eshop cards are still arround both physically and digitally they work for switch too.
I believe you can top up on nintendo website but I just top up on my linked switch.

With all the different versions like MK3 then Ulimate MK3 then MK Trilogy. The insane amount of street fighter 2s and the likes of the 3 Alpha games. So It's really impressive Smash with just 6 games (wii & 3ds being "sash 4") is outselling most of them and gaining.

Ideally I'd like to see them buy Sega to open up their ips. Smaller scale id say platinum games so they continue to make switch games plus nintendo would have a more mature games focused studio then.

The wii u had alot of problem but I'll say this I've had a PS5 for a good while now about 10 months. I've barely turned the thing on to play games (excluding watching netflix on it etc) I don't actually have a single ps5 game, just played some ps4 titles on it.
In comparison in the first year I played alot of my wii U and of course been playing switch alot. There's a real lack of games made for the ps5 a year on particularly when you have access to Xbox game pass in competition. (Also cross generational games I keep seeing the ps5 version of a game at release getting an extra up to 20 quid slapped on it over ps4 version whereas xbox its just one version, usually at ps4 price.)

Few more nintendo crossover courses, zelda,pikmin, f zero, metroid and kirby be nice maybe also a cup fully of courses based on more obsure nintendo franchises such as chibi robo , doshin the giant, The Mysterious Murasame Castle and startropics etc be nice cameos.

It would be nice though to get some dlc for mario kart 8 for those of us who have had it since wii u/ early days of switch. A few more tracks would be an appreciated reason to go back to it.

It's cancelled now as their manufacturing partner had problems and they couldn't guarantee they would met the december 2022 goal for delivery. So they decided to cancel the kick-starterfor now while they seek other options.

Been a thing in Europe for years, the systems weren't designed with two step verification requirements which have become the norm and probablywasn't worth the cost of fixing the issue when weighed up against sales. Shops still on both I just add any funds on Switch and use those , think you can top up online on Nintendo ID but I never bother as Switch is quick and easy
