Nintendo's regional teams are all part of the wider family, but like any siblings they occasionally try to out-do each other. With Nintendo of America kickstarting frantic code swapping with its The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes demo distribution this week, Nintendo of Europe has decided that it's ready to tango.

The region has now sent out three codes to some that are signed up to its newsletter, with the same idea that you share them with friends for some local play. As per the NoA promotion there'll also be specific windows when online play will be supported.

They say good things come in threes, so we have a special treat for you: three download codes for an exclusive demo of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes for Nintendo 3DS family systems.

With these codes, you and two friends can start questing together via Local Play and you can join in any of the three upcoming online sessions by teaming up with other heroes far away.

Here are your three download codes – don't forget to send one to each friend you want to play with!

When can I join an online play session?

If you would like to join in an online session, please see the times below:

08:00 BST / 09:00 CET – 13:59 BST / 14:59 CET 17/10/2015
11:00 BST / 12:00 CET – 14:59 BST / 15:59 CET 18/10/2015
08:00 BST / 09:00 CET – 13:59 BST / 14:59 CET 24/10/2015

In addition those that download the demo will be eligible for an early-adopter one week discount on the eShop version of the game; it'll be 10% off (£31.49 instead of £34.99 in the UK, for example) until 30th October. It's also worth noting that eShop purchase made before 17th November also get a 'Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes: Totem Team' HOME Theme for free.

Are any of you in Europe lucky enough to have some codes? Let us know and share any spares (if you want to) in the comments.
