It's honestly why I don't buy Split Fiction.

A lot of Swiss people bought it from Amazon.fr, cause its much cheaper. We pay only 435 EUR including delivery for the Mario Kart Version if we buy in from Amazon.fr, but 509 CHF (542 EUR) if bought in Switzerland.

@Lord Agreed. Even more in Swiss Francs. 400 US would be 340 CHF but they will price it 500 CHF, cause we always pay the most for Nintendo...

One of the best games ever made. Instantly bought the physical version.

One of the best RPGs of all time. In Germany, Switzerland and Austria it is an absolute classic. Gothic 2 is even a little bit better, but this one is a must play game. Looking forward to it, I hope they get the controls right.

@Azuris Thats not true at all. There are a lot of fantastic german movies and games. For example, one of the best games out there at all: Anno 1800.

Just play their old adventure games and leave gollum aside. They are awesome, especially the Deponia series

@Rambler Yes things are more expensive here, but this is a digital product. It's also fine to pay a bit more. The problem is, that they did not adjust to inflation and exchange rates. they still charge like 1 EUR = 1.5 CHF, but in reality, it's 1 EUR = 1 CHF = 1 USD. A Pizza has been locally produced, local products, local labour, etc, so there are the higher costs. Of course it's still ok to charge here more than in India or Argentina, but they should adjust to the exchange rates. but yeah, I know ,we can just change the eshop location. I think it's just not OK if we pay for a digital product from Japan 40% more than someone in Germany, France, UK, because they can.

And since Nintendo is not able to calculate between all currencies, it will be probably 100 Swiss Francs (about 100 EUR or 100 USD). They are still squeezing the money out here in Switzerland. Seems they did not notice that the USD, EUR and GBP fall about 1/3 to 2/3 of its price to the Swiss Franc.

In Switzerland, Digital Nintendo Games costs like double the price than physical, cause Nintendo is charging ridiculouse high prices in Swiss Francs (even tough it's more worth than EUR or USD, its usually 25-50% more expensive than in EUR or USD). I know I could change the region, but I don't want to do that either. So I just stick with physical. its collectible and also if I don't like a game i can resell it.

Just been there, and it's quite cool. But since they let in (feels like) millions of people, it not that fun. You have to wait 1.5 hours for some food in the toad restaurant, you wait at least 1.5 hours for one of the rides, and you also wait 30-.60mins for one of the minigames. Way too many people unfortunatly.

5 Euros would be a fair price, I would buy it for that price.

I've sold my 2007 Switch for 300 EUR and now buying the new one for 320 EUR (was a sale on Amazon.es). So the new Model does not cost that much if you sell the original, for me just 20 EUR. That's a damn good price.

Europe is always more expensive unfortunatley. So this is good news. I'm from Switzerland, and Nintendo Games are usually almost double the price from the US. If you search the eshop prices, Switzerland is always to most expensive. Good that we can at least change the region now.

Good quality Swiss watches are expensive, but they are not built for a few years like every other trash today, they are build for decades and almost centuries. As Patek Philippe says: They are not made for you, they are made for the next generations. Cheers from Switzerland.

Why should they give you 225 Bucks for a Nintendo Switch to buy a new "old" Nintendo Switch? That would be, for example, like paying you 255$ for an used PS5 to buy a new PS5. Why would anybody buy a new console from the exact same hardware?

@dux Not in the direct yes, but the rumors always said, that the Pro will be announce before the E3 so they can focus on software at the E3 direct

Hmm they clearly say focus on software... Would they mention it like that, if nothing on hardware side is coming up, maybe tomorrow?

@Friendly Nintendo does it. Taxes in Switzerland are generally very low. VAT for example is 7.7%, while VAT in most EU Countries is more than 20%. So in fact, it should be cheaper in Switzerland. Check the eshop price comparision website, in 98% of the time, the game cost worldwide the most in Switzerland. We have the highest average wages in the world and Nintendo (And others) takes simply advantage of that.

Europe isn't Europe. For example, here in Switerland, usually even with 50% sale, we are often still more expensive than the Euro-Region and the US without discount. Nintendo does the same thing as most of retailers do: Double the price for Switzerland. For a digital good, this is just a joke. But yes, at least we are now able to change the region.

Sounds good besides there is nothing new from Nintendo coming to switch in the next months.

Just give us a Switch Pro Better GPU, a bit of a better build quality, and we're good. Thanks!

Glad to live in Switzerland. Racism exists everywhere of course, but luckely not that nearly as much as in the US. I fully understand that anger of these people and if they would protest silently, unfortunately, no one would care.

Love it so much. The ambiance is just so incredible good, it's so thrilling, from beginning to end. Like a psychodellic trip. Hope there will ever be a sequel or just something like it.

Got my Ring Fit here in Switzerland yesterday after two months of wait

I've played now 25 days without time travelling through the story and made my Island beautiful (imho). Now, I'd like to "finish" the game the next weeks so I startet time travelling to complete my Museum. I really liked it but I don't want to wait till August or so to complete everything. But the Game was very good and no regrets at all

@Supadav03 Sure, but maybe becuase we didn't expect a Mini Direct after more than half a year.

Not bad things shown, but also nothing big new. No Metroid, no Bayonetta, no Zelda, no Mario, no Pikmin... So we'll have to wait till the "E3 Direct" for the next new big Nintendo Games.

Of course the game is not a 0/10, it is absolutley a 9/10. But the critics are right. I mean this one-island-per-console thing is just ridiculouse. Even if you play alone, why should you not have more than one island? there is just no reason to block this. As great as Nintendo and their games are, in some things, they are just not up to date (Animal Crossing, Online Services, OS which still has no simple things like folders and themes, and so on)

@andywitmyer Total garbage. I'm living in Switzerland and the situation just outside our border in Italy, Lombardia, is horrible. Did you look at the death numbers there? it's way higher than the common flu. Hospitals are completley overloaded, the staff gets sick as well and can't do their work, urgent materials are running out, ... go and tell them it's just the media....

I'm only here to wait for the "Nintendo Direct announced"

@SkullDragr "Europe".. I'm from Switzerland and we are quite with Nintendo prices. Nintnedo Games are always like 30% more expensive than everywher else in the world. Usually, a 19.99 EUR / USD Game is here 29 CHF, which is 30 USD / 27 EUR....

I would play and buy it, if it wouldn't be priced like a new game. Sorry Nintendo, but full price is too much for this game. I'll buy it when it's available for 20$/€.
