Billion Road – an upcoming Switch and PC release where you spend, invest and earn a lot of cash – has been delayed here in the west. Instead of arriving next month, the game will now launch on 16th April according to the Nintendo game page and Steam.
Here's a brief rundown about what you can expect:
The core objective in Billion Road is pretty straightforward—travel all across Japan and earn more money than anyone else. You earn money by landing on property squares with investment opportunities, like a sushi restaurant in Ginza or an animation goods store in Akihabara. After you invest, you’ll have to wait until March rolls around for those investments to pay off.
In the meantime, be on the lookout for errant monsters that may shower you with riches...or throw a wrench in your plans! You can also earn extra money by landing on item squares, which can either help you reach your own goals or simply ruin your rivals’ plans. If you finish the game with the most money...you win!
There are over 30 items, 50 monsters, and multiple modes. You'll also be able to play with friends and family locally or online. In addition to this, Billion Road is described as a "family friendly game" that can teach kids the importance of investments.

Man... seems like delaying games is the hot trend these days.
Thanks for the heads up.
Boy does this make me miss Culdcept Saga on 360... what a fun game that was!
Bring this NOW damnit!!!
I'm only here to wait for the "Nintendo Direct announced"
As long as Animal Crossing NH is still on schedule, March will remain March and April will remain April. Thank you.
@Drache_Kaiser Was just gonna post this, couldn't agree more!
Is online play actually confirmed for Switch? The trailer seems to say that you can play with 4 people using one joy-con on switch or online through Steam.
Am I reading that correctly?
Why does this look so much like fortune street?
First I've heard of it. Japanese Monopoly??? Sign me the frick up.
And yes, give us a fortune street on switch too!
Is this a momotetsu ripoff?

I'll keep an eye on this, but...I still wished this was Fortune Street, I miss that game.
