I got this game on Steam about a year ago, and beat it in one sitting. Not because it's easy, but because it's good.

I think Samuel L. Jackson would make a great Pikachu.

Not really. It's a non-canon alternative continuity, so nothing that happens in a dream sequence therein needs to be oversensationalized.

I admit that the Avatar customization options are appealing to me. And not just to finally play an official Sonic game as Sonichu.

It's nice to have a reasonable opportunity for Porygon, now.

A television set's display screen is communal and is therefore usually shared, whereas with portable gaming, this doesn't need to be the case. Also, portable game systems usually have their own display screens, and therefore things like compatibility and ideal resolution are not a concern.

As it turns out, those Gamecube controllers were a pretty good investment.

The way Daisy reacted to it was priceless.

I recommend this one. There's something that feels really good about clearing a difficult part after a few attempts. Also, the soundtrack rocks.

When Pokemon Go first got started, it was hugely popular because it's Pokemon, and many other people got into it because they wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Afterwards, there was a huge dropoff because the game wasn't what so many people imagined. Those who really liked the game kept at it, and many of them still play, and other people have since joined them.

At some point in the future, those old players will return. When they do, they'll complain about the changes that have made the game better since they've left, and will bemoan the game being not the same as it used to be. And they'll claim to be the "real fans".

So yeah, Pokemon Go is going to have it's own bunch of genwunners to laugh at. Be ready for it!

The vertical scrolling shooters are the main games in this series, and are the main reason why Touhou has so many fans. For the same money, a person could import Imperishable Night from Japan, instead of some fan game that somehow got a commercial release.

My current favorite Steam game is Axiom Verge, and I recommend it.

I'm looking forward to a review of Touhou. Hopefully, the rest of the game is more polished than its graphics.

Nintendo, you can take it easy a little. I've only got so much money and so much free time.

Nothing for me this week. Last week, I bought two games with Pokemon in the title, and I still haven't beat either of them.

It helps that the games are great. This is the strongest year one library I've ever seen, and it's not even over yet!

Excellent games, overall. It just happens to be much easier than I remember. Trainers that gave me trouble before don't seem to stand much of a chance, anymore. There are pokemon choices that definitely give the advantage to players that know about them. Abra with the three elemental punches, anyone?

Call just happens to be my favorite robot that looks just like a Powerpuff Girl. Aside from Dynamo, of course.

No really, compare call with Momoko Akatsutsumi and tell me whether you see it.

My first experience with Nintendo was the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. It was my favorite show as a kid. Later, I got to play my first video game: Super Mario Bros. on NES.

We've come a long way since then, and that was only part of Nintendo's history.

What has me rolling my eyes is that electronics are far more expensive in the medical field. Either Nintendo's stuff is THAT high quality, or someone is looking to pinch a few pennies where someone's life may be on the line. I'd prefer the former.

That's what I call a selling point. When's this game coming out?

Pokemon Crystal is the definitive version. If all three games are released at the same time, players will tend toward Crystal, and many would just ignore Gold and Silver. Releasing Gold and Silver first and later releasing Crystal is an obvious way to maximize profits.

It's nice how they brought this game to the Switch, considering how few of us went out and purchased a Wii U.

After having played the first, this is what I have to say:
Bring it.

Science is trying way too hard to produce a real-life lightsaber. Why haven't we developed a gun that does this?

Last time I visited Toys R Us, it upset me. They arranged the storefront so you'd have to walk through two long aisles of displays (separated by corners) packed with items that were clearly being marketed to you/your children, and things like Pokemon cards were much more expensive than at other places.

People are better able to realize that they are being marketed to than they were ten years ago, and we do become disgusted when such attempts are particularly shameless. Then we realize that it's our children that are being targeted, and we lose any patience we have left.

We don't really need Toys R Us. My question is, what are we going to do with all that parking space?

When I purchased a Nintendo Switch, I had no idea that a game of Golf was included. Switch just keeps getting better!

I preordered the special edition. I'm looking forward to it!

I'm also looking forward to the speed runs and sequence breaks. This is a Metroid game, after all.

It's up with an update. It seems like a brief absence while replacing one version with another.

Both are superpowers that are ruined by science according to an old Cracked article. But assuming that there are no catches, I'd prefer flight.

What I'm considering:
Axiom Verge: I already have it on Steam, and I think that Switch would be a great system for it.
Pokken Tournament: I liked the demo.
Super Mario Odyssey: Do I have to justify this? It's Mario.
Touhou Kobuto V: I liked Imperishable Night (which, yes, I did import). The genre looks different, but it's still nice to see a Touhou game on Switch. Anyone else remember Ikaruga?

"There's nothing to play" is no longer a reason not to own a Switch.

It so happens that I do have a degree in Electronics!

This is welcome news! I've long wanted a Mawile in Pokemon Go.

The Pokemon Company seems to be putting too much effort into reliving it's past. The Kanto region and its pokemon have been reused many times throughout the series. At this point, I'd prefer to see something new. If remaking a region, Sinnoh would be welcome.

This is a game I'm considering getting, and a demo might help me make my decision.

This early on in the Switch's life cycle, demos are a great way to get publicity for publishers that want to get their games out there. After all, there are still relatively few AAA titles for Switch, so gamers might want to try demos to hold them over, and perhaps discover a game that turns out to be their new favorite. It seemed to work for Disgaea 5 and Blaster Master Zero!

The guy behind Metroid wants to bring us the kind of Metroid game we want to see? Bring it.

Besides, I was considering downloading at least one of them, anyway. The download code might be a sufficient selling point.

Engineers usually try to eliminate unnecessary components from something that's to be mass produced. Even though these LEDs are cheap, when millions of a piece of consumer electronics are to be produced, even a component costing only $0.05 can really add up.

Assuming that this was the cost of one of these LEDs, if only two million of these things are produced, that would easily pay an engineer's salary for about a year.

Just an empty box? Why not include something neat? Even printing up a promo TCG card would be nice.

@bolt05 I don't know whether there's an option to turn the music off, but you can change the music in the base to any track in the game that you've heard up until that point. You can do the same thing for Item World, as well.

@bolt05 That music is pretty grating, but there is a character in the home base that can change it for you.

I like Raichu, so I'd like seeing this make it to this side of the ocean.

This is pretty neat, but I don't really have a use for something like that, myself. Maybe I'd be more interested if the badges were more colorful.

This was one of my favorite 3DS eShop indie games, so I'm liking that it's coming to another platform where it can be discovered by new players. I might actually get it again.

I liked the 3DS version so much, that I one-hundred-percented all three of its save files. It's that good.
