Nothing will ever top that feeling of being a kid and opening up your Nintendo console. I've had many consoles but there is something special about Nintendo. I got a. PS5 and Switch 2 same day couple of months ago and I can tell you now that ps5 was the last thing to get played with. I still have that same feeling now.

Time to pass those feelings on to a new generation... Or just rediscover it for yourself, whatever works

@HugoGED honestly this is the only gripe I have about the switch 2. For some reason I have to recalibrate my TV for HDR on the switch 2, then do the same again for my PS5 and everything else. Luckily I play my switch more so it's less of a chore but still

@Friendly on the Nintendo X Wii Switch 2, the game runs at a respectable 1440p running at 50fps with no dips at all.

Unless requiem has some messed up control scheme, it really shouldn't be that hard to implement mouse controls. Maybe in a future update after release they might add it but for me it doesn't sound like it should be a issue

@Ralek85 for me I have a PS5 but would rather play everything on my switch 2. Can I get these third party games on a PS5? Yes. Will do look better? Of course!

What makes it my number 1 consoles is the fact I can play nindy games and games like cyberpunk and outlaws on the go, I don't need to take with me 2 consoles, it's all here in my hand. Switch 2 has best of both worlds. And before people start saying but you can emulate on a pc handheld, I'm talking legally here

@Pillowpants I'm with you with the live action. Not sure how zelda being made into live action will go but I do have faith in nindy and Sony getting this right. Wonder if the story would follow ocarina, would be a good starting point, but I have a feeling it will be a brand new story with easter eggs from the games

Now all we need is a switch 2 upgrade please 👍

Wouldn't really matter either way, most people still just wait for the price to drop as they usually do for ubi games

@BrokenCiv outlaws is a great game and really doesn't deserve the criticism it gets

I know there isn't much of information right now, but does anyone know if it would be crossplay? Would be very interested as not everyone of my mates has a switch 2.

Man you can say whatever you want about the switch 2, except no one can deny Nvidia have created a pretty nifty CPU. I'm so impressed with cyberpunk and outlaws on switch 2. Honestly can't wait to see what's in store. Just hope nindy doesn't cheap out when it comes to their next 1st party games, because the technology is there!

From what I've seen, prime 4 doesn't look like it going to go that way, that game looks gorgeous

@Medic_alert performance mode they do. But if you want quality and best graphics, you have to settle for 30fps

@MarioBrickLayer everyone criticising partner direct when what they don't realise is third party support will make or break switch 2. Look first party games are amazing but if Nintendo is actually competing again they need these titles on its own console, call of duty, battlefield, FIFA, red dead, gears, silent hill. Honestly if Nintendo came out tommorow and just announced all the big hitters coming to switch 2 that is a selling point!

But the games look and run better on the switch 2 so who really cares? Series S is sub par compared the current gen consoles but it's my favourite one. It's not always about the tech

@LazyDaisy honestly, Nintendo should hire the developers of dolphin, they seem to care more about emulation. Nintendo always seem to do a half assed job with it these days

@KBuckley27 tbf, most people can't afford switch 2 + mario kart at launch and other games. Give it time, I'll guarantee those numbers will rise

Man I had this pre orderes but had to cancel because, well life got in the way. I'm also off work for a week as I've been in hospital but at least I treated myself to xenoblade X while I wait for switch 2

It's switch 2 logo, means more games to be announced for the system. Look forward to this now, as before switch 1 hardware couldn't meet today's demands but now switch 2 can. Exciting times!

This and f-zero X day one on switch 2. Plus mario kart world. Racing fans are in for a real treat

@Skunkfish honestly I went digital a long time ago. I have 300 games and over 90% of them are bought on the eshop so this doesn't bother me

I'm not worried about handhelds from Sony and Xbox as they likely to be way overpriced. Nindy has hit a spot with that price point. Yes hardware won't be anywhere near these handhelds but having RT cores and DLSS is a huge game changer that allows third party games to run smoothly and look great. Buyers will always look at switch 2 as a cheaper option than the other two

Echoes technically already runs at 60fps, it's just the switch bandwidth can't cope with it, so running it on better memory will likely lead to stable 60fps. No need for a upgrade

With the PS4/ps5, they have custom themes and stuff. Nintendo OS or even eshop shouldn't need that much. I know the switch will be fine, im just saying just under 3gb ram is just a little overkill for what it is right now lol

@sanderev yeah I get that. But nearly 3gb worth? Shouldn't take that much. you don't need 3gb extra to load videos or video call. Makes me wonder if the OS has something in-store for future use

I'm confused as to why the system is using 3gb when it's essentially the same OS? Is the 3gb alone to help with game chat?

Either way this is a huge upgrade and cannot wait to see what developers can do with the hardware

@MrDocena lol it's true. No one says anything about pc gaming. Thats all digital nowadays. Xbox followed suite. Unfortunately it's future and Nintendo is just embracing it

@UltimateOtaku91 I'll bet my hat that it's coming to switch 2. I can see pretty much most Microsoft owned games to be ported now the switch 2 is capable of running them.

Honestly this has me so excited for the future of SW2. This is the start and and it's only going to get better

@Cipher36 generally speaking yes. It will load faster as the SD is faster and most likely the picture will be sharper. But if the game is 30fps, then most likely that will be up to the developers to patch it.

@Slowie ps5 is a much more powerful console but the switch 2 has so much other stuff going on in that CPU than realise. Honestly I'm so excited to see what they can do with it, it doesn't feel like the switch 1 in terms of power compared to other current gen consoles

I don't see why not. Pretty sure switch 2 would be able to run almost anything right now. If they really wanted to they just could lower the resolution and upscale the image to 1080p using DLSS. Less work for them and easy to port.

Nintendo innovated the hybrid console market. They have just improved it even more. Why change what's not broke? They havnt lost anything.

Honestly, I would rather them just make the same games as other consoles and have cross play. Alienating switch players is not a good consumer move. EA being the ***** ups as usual.

Man. VS is the game that keeps on giving. Now this is literally how you keep a game alive. Kudos poncle, I really wish more developers were like you

@jetsetradion exactly this. 40fps although doesn't look like much difference by numbers, but it's a huge difference when gaming. Just ask Xbox owners
