James Marsden and Jim Carry get top billing on the poster, surely the voice of the main character should be on there haha

I'd be happy if Smash ultimate just gets ported to the next console each generation, and we get a few DLC packs to add more characters. I mean this is the perfect version of Smash bros as a base game ( Not including story mode for example) You can keep all the characters, spend very little time on development and keep the franchise going

You mention the Wii not reading duel layer discs issue, that's an easy fix, there a lense cleaning kit you can buy. When I got it years ago on amazon was about £4

@Bunkerneath You could just set up a Japanese account and download. It may have a language option but even if it doesn't it has little to no dialogue anyway

Really enjoyed this game, was a shame it didn't keep its audience long. I feel a sequel that really pushes for more content options ( Better single player for example ) could make it into a bigger franchise

Why would a physical box leak for a cloud only game. If this is real, its definitely for a full physical release, and if it is real. Well done CD project red, must be one hell of a game to port to switch

Yes it certainly has turned a corner....For about 5 seconds with Sonic Mania before it drove into a brick wall and off a cliff with Sonic forces and the horror that is the sonic movie XD

Glad this is coming to switch its a great game both single player and co op. Wish i didn't get it on Steam now so I wouldn't have to double dip XD

@Tharsman Good point One punch man, goodpoint. I suppose updates are platform specific, so as you said start with ""the base" version, then update accordingly to each system. However, Square should of expected these bugs since they knew the base version had these problems when first released. So still shame on them

@roadrunner343 very true they will just create hardware for the situation. However other companies have done this and failed, and although Google are big, no one is big enough to avoid failure. I will wait until its available to fully judge, but i can see it now ending up with blurry laggy games that become unplayable as your internet buckles . Fingers crossed its better than previous attempts

Once again another company takes a crack at Streaming games.... I mean look how much of a success they have all been so far! Look at Onlive, truly a gaming marvel unparalleled in it's levels of success.... Seriously though why Google. You don't even have the biggest cloud infrastructure, Amazon does. Even though the internet is better than it was even just a few years ago, Games are much bigger than they were and require more data to be playable. Unless Google has some magical way to give all of their audience better internet, this is pretty much a waste of time. Can you imagine trying to play a fast-paced fighter or shooter via streaming? Just not viable

@NotTelevision Exactly. I haven't played origins and Odyssey yet so not sure what their tutorials are like. BOTW opening was amazing, as it wasn't so much a tutorial, but an introduction to a smaller area, before giving you the whole map. Off topic slightly but I also don't like that the latest AC uses the same climbing system as BOTW. Part of the fun to AC climbing was finding a route. Sure BOTW climbing was great too, but it worked in that world, AC I imagine would lose something by using that climbing system

I'm not sure if anyone else would agree. But I thought AC 3 was one of the worst in the series! A three hours tutorial as 1 character, then another 4 as another character. Uninteresting mission design, boring assassinations and of the two characters you play, you spend a majority of the game as the boring one..... why are they "Remastering" this game XD

Is it really a good idea to report on this? Aren't you just making it more public knowledge by doing so ? Or is this more to report it to Nintendo?

...The frost bite engine ran on ps3 and 360. Pretty sure the Switch can handle that EA.

Why are people complaining that Nintendo life spoiled this? It does say don't watch it if you don't want spoilers. The picture on the main page is just a generic shot of the game on a Switch. Did the article change or something?

The Wii u still sits proudly just below my Switch. It was a system with many great ideas ( and unfortunately many terrible ones), but most of all it's games were fantastic, and Nintendo had a similar mentality as the Gamecube, in just throwing every idea they could at it, giving us Splatoon, Mario maker,the anti gravity of Mario Kart 8, an amazing Smash bros, the best HD remaker ever ( Wind waker) Xenoblade chronicles X, Pikmin 3, Hyrule Warriors,Mario 3d world , DK tropical freeze and dozens more. Sadly, when you barely advertise the system, don't make it clear what it is, and honestly, over charge for it.It was unfortunately screwed before it ever had a chance

Out of curiosity, does it cost particularly more to develop for Switch/ home consoles than mobile and is this the reason for the higher price? I mean that sincerely as it happens with a lot of other Mobile - Switch games as well
