Re: Feature: Where Does Nintendo Switch Fit In The PS5 And Xbox Project Scarlett Next-Gen War?

@Firebird360 I get the impression that you're fairly young from that comment. (Not trying to be rude)
Every generational leap is sold like the most drastic one yet.
The thing is, with the evolution of hardware we get something of a diminishing return. You need a bigger technological jump every time for the average consumer to even notice a difference.
Resolution is a good example, from 480p to 720p is a huge leap, but from 720p to 1080p or even more so from 4K to 8K, you get less and less people that are even able to notice the difference.
It'll be interesting to see how SSDs change the way devs worked around loading screen though.

Re: Pichu And Jigglypuff Are Getting Their Very Own Switch Controllers

@Troop
Usually USB "Fight Pads" are called that because they work with what Fighting Games call "Legacy controllers" or some variation of that.
This is great for people who own a USB Arcade Stick or Fight Pad and it isn't natively compatible with the console.
For example, you could use the Pokkén Controller on SoulCalibur 6 on the PS4 (Though I play with the Hori Switch Arcade Stick myself).

I can't tell you if that's the case here, since I don't own any of these PDP controllers myself, but I thought I'd bring it up since people usually associate the 6 face button layout with Fight Pads.

Re: Nintendo Releases Statement About Switch Joy-Con Drift Issue

@rushiosan The New 3DS did get a revised screen.
I have a second generation black Pro Controller (bought around the time the Xenoblade one came out) it doesn't have the D-pad issue.
No need to get cheeky, no one thinks it's fun to send their stuff to get repaired. I'm just saying people pretend it doesn't exist or inaccessible.
