I really hope you don't have to pay for this like Pokemon Friends.

This game looks like Sonic Adventure 1.5. I really want to pick it up now.

I gave it an 8/10. Jamboree is a great game on Switch and it probably the best Mario Party in my opinion, and having this new content is wonderful. I think for the full experience, this is a tad expensive with the camera and other gear, but this is a very decent upgrade for the game.

C'mon Pokemon, can we finally have that new Pokemon Ranger with the Mouse Mode instead of this? Maybe might pick it up when it is on a big discount, but who knows!

I've just looked into Pokemon Friends to confirm my dissapointments and it seems they are correct. I think my biggest gripe with this is how poor the TPC's spin-offs are now. I love Mystery Dungeon and Ranger (Which I would love with the Mouse Mode), but now a spin-off with day-one DLC payments and is just a boring puzzle game? The content are actual bare-bones right now with only basic puzzles. I'm not sure which is worse, the Switch 2 Welcome Tour or Pokemon Friends.

The game seems like a basic cash grab and should've been free from the start. The puzzles seem way to easy. I remember when Pokemon did actual spin-offs which were actually good compared to this.

Peach and Mario are just friends? How? I'm not sure about that one, but I guess Nintendo made the characters, so their rules.

Pokemon Friends make me sad. my younger brother was so excited to play Pokemon Friends cause he thought it was free, but you have to pay money to actually play the game. Why did the TPC do this?

I guess Mario has a bigger appeal to the Japanese than DK Bananza. The good thing is that they are both selling well though.

Why? Why ruin your physical game just because you want it yellow. You bought the physical edition, claiming the red made it unplayable. and now making it yellow makes the entire Switch 2 unplayable! It wasn't even the correct shade of yellow! I guess he made a digital only Switch 2 now.

Finally, the closest thing we'll get to the Mario Shooter is the Carnival Coaster (Please tell me if I'm wrong). Also I love the inclusion of the Talking Flower! I really liked him in Wonder, so I'm glad to see him here.

YESYESYESYESYES, I can now finally have a Game Boy! This looks so good!!! I really hope other consoles such as the Game Boy Advance or GameCube get this treatment!

@KayFiOS yeah, the starter choice is pretty lacklustre, with two Johto. They probably chose the most mid starters to choose from. I would say instead of Mudkip, I would choose a water starter who hasn't gotten a Mega, like Popplio or Sobble, cause Mudkip has gotten a mega and the starters should get Megas. Even though if Mudkip didn't get a Mega, I would choose Mudkip

@Lady_rosalina Yeah, I just learned about the shutter. I didn't buy the camera and I know nobody who bought the camera. Just to defend the Jamboree, I thought the add on with the Mouse Controls was neat, but could've been priced lower and not include the camera.

@KayFiOS Lemme just hide my Wii U back into the basement where it belongs. I didn't know about the shutter bit on the Switch 2 Camera, thanks for the tip!

@Lizuka Probably not, seeing after you defeat the Rouge Mega, you get the Mega Stone. There will probably be a Gardevoir Mega on the loose, so the pre-order Pokemon is basically worthless.

Is it just me, or are pre-order bonuses worse than other games? I remember Legends Arceus have so much goodies when you pre-order the game. Also, why doesn't the Ralts have a Gallade option. I would love to pre-order if they had a Gallade option

Ah! I am sooo excited for this game than other ones! This looks absolutely amazing!!! Maybe a little better then Drag X Drive hopefully?

Nate the Hate has a really great track record and it would make sense for a Direct to happen soon with the drought of no Kirby Air Riders, Hyrule Warriors and Prime 4 news. Also Nintendo doesn't have any Holiday game, so a Direct should reveal that as well. I hope a Direct is soon. We also need that overview tralier of the KAFTL Switch 2 edition.

I really hope that they incorporate more mouse mode and camera into games like Mario Party. I really enjoyed Jamboree, but probably not going to buy the upgrade. I really hope that they have mouse mode support to games like WarioWare!

Edit: As I said Mario Party, I didn't mean the mode, I meant the entire game as a whole. Whoops

Alright, when is the next Direct happening to cure the disappointment of the Presents. This Presents was horrible

Yeah, I know the Japanese will keep it clean, but tourists could trash the place, so I would hate for that to happen.

@LazyDaisy Yes, I have dipped my toes into the competitive scene from time to time and when Champions got announced with Home Support and not an actual team builder was awful. How am I gonna win against a person who completed National Dex and has the best Pokemon in competitive?

@Kirbyo Nah, I found the best part was with the giant ship and Lapras cause it looks like it was gonna be a horror game.

Wooloo eating the apple was the best part of the presents hands down. (only joking)

This looks really cool, but it is an interesting choice. I really hope people treat this nice though and not trash this.

@StewdaMegaManNerd I mean, I didn't see the Z-A Bundle anywhere. Maybe it was part of the presents, but I just didn't see it. They should've added a little bit saying that there will be a bundle would have been nice and not a Twitter Post.

I find transferring Pokemon from Pokemon Home to get really over-powered Pokemon off the bat will be used a lot, while I don't own many Pokemon games and I have to choose from what they give me. I think I'll just stick with Showdown instead.

Alright, this looks alright. I love the giant wings on the head, but this was probably only one of the exciting bits of the Presents. Also, was really surprising cause the leaks mentioned Mega Dragonite. Also, would the mega stone for this be called a Dragoniteite?

What has Nintendo Life come to?

For Pokemon with the age, I'm not even surprised, but this seems pretty accurate and in check. Mario has a huge 70% though, not at all what I was expecting, which was a little more balanced.

@Pak-Man Eh, I would say Nintendo AAA titles do go on sale, but rarely hit the 50% mark. I know Odyssey went on sale this summer which was around 35% off.

@Spider-Kev Bananza seems like a really difficult game to 100%, seeing how there are a lot of Bananas, fossils and other collectables. Like Odyssey, the game isn't done when you beat the main game, with there still being post game bananas and the little ancient ruins. I think that is just me though, I spend a little too much time on the first level.

@Zerodogg Clair Obscur looks awesome a really cool, even tho I don't own it or have the consoles to play it, but seeing how the GOTY 2024 came out with Astro Bot beating Wukong, I think DK has a very good chance.

9/10: I love Bananza and the destruction gameplay is so fun, but I still prefer Odyssey over Bananza. I wonder if there will be DLC?

I am really enjoying Bananza so far. The inclusion of DK's house from DKC is a really neat touch. Also, isn't there another costume for Pauline that references the arcade DK?

I mean, they kinda have the perfect opportunity, with the Switch 2 mic and maybe with the GameChat Camera support. It would definitely be a hit with the younger audience and would give an urge to buy the GameChat Camera. Maybe have a special edition?

@UltimateOtaku91 Gen 10 sounds likely and hopefully really good. Though, I think that the Legends Series will replace the remakes. As badly as I want Gen 5 remakes, the further they go with remakes, there will be less and less to improve, graphically wise, maybe a HD-2D Black and White Remake?
