Re: The Game Awards GOTY For 2022 Is Elden Ring

@kingbk basically some goofy kid got up on the stage and said something about Bill Clinton, it was meant to be offensive but I don’t think English was his first language so he said the wrong thing and it became a giant meme.

@Calbant Thank you! And yeah, lots of people praise Canada and I really don’t get it. It’s beautiful but it’s just so expensive and had really bad medical services… lots of Europe is similar I’ve heard. No country is perfect, but I just really love the US. Hope you’re doing well!

Re: Sega Of America Opens New Office In California

@Calbant Canada is just a bigger version of California and everyone thinks it’s perfect for some reason. It’s not. I’m honestly very happy I left… US is so much better in most aspects from healthcare to schooling to overall QOL, despite what the ehem, biased, media says. and I promise I’m not biased as I’ve lived in Canada, UK, Germany, and the US… We all just need to work together to remember what we have here and try to preserve what this great land was founded upon. Freedom, democracy, and the ability to speak freely. I hope you’re doing well in whatever plain of life you’re in right now. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@Ryan_Again I agree. I’ve spent a lot of time in California, and it’s the only state I would consider a “bad” place to live in America. The rest of it is honestly really nice and despite what the media says, is probably still my favorite country I’ve lived in. California just has a bunch of idiots in charge that are running it to the ground, a similar thing is actually happening in Berlin, and it hurts my heart because I lived there for a while.

Re: Random: Do Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Contain Hints To The Next Region?

Parker55

@CheekyZelda Sorry if this sounds rude but I’m getting kind of sick of the “America bad healthcare” thing… Because in reality, you pay for it everywhere just in different ways and I actually think the US system is superior for a number of reasons. Also mods, if this isn’t appropriate or starts an argument, go ahead and delete it. Just a Canadian immigrant stating his opinion.

@Fizza funnily enough, I had a similar experience. Me and some buddies got together to play on launch day and I was just wandering around and accidentally ran into a full-odds Bramblin, note this was before I even knew this Pokémon existed. Let’s just say there was a lot of screaming haha. And while trying to evolve it I ran into a shiny Cetottle. I don’t know if I’m either very lucky or that stupid tumbleweed was a good luck charm.

@johnvboy I own a few guns myself, mainly for hunting purposes, and the sad thing is, most of the steriotype of constantly having a gun on you is only true in poorer areas… I’m lucky to live in a very safe town where crime is rare, but if people would just lock up their weapons properly, crime would be much less, specifically from younger people who can’t buy them themselves…
