My biggest complaint with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the lack of single player modes which make the overall game actually more lacking that any other (except maybe Smash 64).

So I would be really glad if they added more game modes back into the game.

Home Run Contest and Stage Builder are great starts. But what would be even better would be if they added Break the Targets (preferably Melee's versions), Boss Battles, Special Orders, a proper All-Star Mode and maybe even Smash Run.
But now I might be too needy.

Mario Maker 2 is fine I guess. It'll like be the only thing I'm excited for. Link's Awakening is perhaps one of the most forgettable Zelda games. I don't care what anyone says.
And the lack of information on Pokémon or Animal Crossing was disappointing.

Mother 3 being cancelled forever ruined my chances of ever looking forward to another Direct. I'll be angry and think this Direct blew if I want to!

The EarthBound/MOTHER Trilogy released in HD for the Switch?

I doubt it's that, but Nintendo really should do something for the series. It's 30 years old this July.

He is more likely than any RareWare character I'm afraid to say.

I owe so much to Super Smash Bros. Had it not been for my introduction to the franchise, I would have likely never had any exposure to the Mother series. EarthBound is my favourite video game, and yet I owe my love for the game to Super Smash Bros., which helped bring it and many other obscure franchises to the attention of so many.

I will forever be grateful to Masahiro Sakurai and Satoru Iwata for bringing Super Smash Bros. to where it is now.

Tbh, Splatfests (and Splatoon in general) kinda got less fun as time went on. After playing only a few rounds I just went back to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
I suppose I kinda have to thank Splatoon's garbage community for ruining the game for me.

Since the NES days, the UK has never really been interested in Nintendo. The SNES was outsold by the Mega Drive/Genesis in the UK, and the PlayStation consoles overshadowed all of Nintendo's future consoles (Except the Wii) there as well.
The majority of UK gamers are just angsty teens obsessed with Fifa or violent games. So this honestly isn't a surprise.

@PolarExperience I actually forgot that those game modes existed. Haha. I kinda miss them. But eh, obviously not that much considering I forgot about them.

On-topic, yeah I do think it's a bummer that Europe and America still haven't gotten anything nice out of this MyNIntendo 'rewards' program.
At least I did manage to get some Club Nintendo rewards while it lasted. A Tanooki Mario plush, 8-Bit Mario Coasters and badges, Hanafuda Cards, a Game & Watch and the Super Smash Bros. 4 sound selection.
More rewards like that would be nice. And in fairness, if we have more rewards like those wireless Switch NES controllers it could be a step in the right direction too.

From the Rediculous Motorcycle, to the surprise Boss and that really charming ending, I’m going to say I really enjoyed this little story.
Makes me wish even more that the Champions were still alive.
