Re: TimeSplitters Co-Creator Joins THQ Nordic To "Plot The Future Course" Of The Series

Who's in charge of this franchise is just so confusing. Free Radical is made up of former Rare employees. The publisher of the first two games was Eidos Interactive but then EA published the third game. Free Radical was then bought out by Crytek who wanted to make a fourth installment but never bothered because they didn't think the demand existed. But then the rights belong to THQ Nordic now?

In all honesty, even if this game were developed, I think it would be impossible for it to even resemble anything like the earlier installments.

Re: Review: DOOM II - It's Hell On Earth With This Devilishly Playable Switch Port

I've been playing episode 4 of the original DOOM and it is absolute hell. I hear that the DOOM II difficulty is just as hard as episode 4. If the case, I'm really nervous. Not sure if I'll try this out because I think just playing the original is suffice to get a taste of the classic (and I'm also not keen on difficult gameplay), but I'm actually really loving DOOM so maybe I will be swayed in the future to give it a try.

@Varkster @Ttimer5

lol they are incredibly unfair. I usually have to cheat the system to win. Sometimes this involves sticking at the edge and getting them to fall if they don't have great recovery (e.g. Ganondorf on the SF stage). In other cases like the Victini Incineroar challenge where he launches you really easily AND starts out with a final smash, I use a level 99 Xerneas and start out as metal and giant, and even then I have to exploit by getting lucky enough to dodge the final smash.

@thesilverbrick Twilight Princess was already playable on the Wii U through backward compatibility. And to some extent this is the case with many other games. I used to be an advocate remakes due to limited availability of Gamecube games at retail stores during the Wii U era, but to this day there are still dozens of Wii games found all over the place. You could easily find any first party Wii game for $20, and I find the SD graphics to vary negligibly to HD graphics compared to previous generational changes, so having all of these remakes for games that were released in the past 12 years just feel off.
