I can't believe Nianco is encouraging millions of people to wake up a kind of Pokemon who had been sleeping for a thousand years. I would be fuming with rage if I were a Jirachi.
Who's in charge of this franchise is just so confusing. Free Radical is made up of former Rare employees. The publisher of the first two games was Eidos Interactive but then EA published the third game. Free Radical was then bought out by Crytek who wanted to make a fourth installment but never bothered because they didn't think the demand existed. But then the rights belong to THQ Nordic now?
In all honesty, even if this game were developed, I think it would be impossible for it to even resemble anything like the earlier installments.
How delightful! Making these Pokemon rare to find encourages fans to attend more events while also prompting players to trade with each other. I support this.
I've been playing episode 4 of the original DOOM and it is absolute hell. I hear that the DOOM II difficulty is just as hard as episode 4. If the case, I'm really nervous. Not sure if I'll try this out because I think just playing the original is suffice to get a taste of the classic (and I'm also not keen on difficult gameplay), but I'm actually really loving DOOM so maybe I will be swayed in the future to give it a try.
@Bunkerneath I hold Koopa shells often as a weapon or for defense. Anyway, the glitch is that you have to land on a Fire Flower and Yoshi simultaneously while holding an item which is likely to almost never happen.
Ubisoft also said this about a few days earlier which I found interesting:
“I think we are the last soldier standing! We are the last game on the Wii and we are happy about that as there still a lot of fans wanting to play on it."
Unfortunate Donkey Kong Land 2 only ended up at #20. Truly one of the best ports ever made. The music, visuals, and gameplay must succeed any expectations I had for what the Game Boy could do.
Yes! I'm so happy! I've always wanted to try out so many things just announced! Witcher... Red Dead Redemption... Fallout... all hell yeah! What a year to be alive!
The magic never ends. For me, it was the Christmas of 2006 at the age of 7. Just old enough to know how to compete with others in Wii sports lol. For other people, the magic ought to be this very Christmas when they open up and find a Switch with MK8, Splatoon, Odyssey, or Smash Bros.
Already caught a Heatran yesterday! Pretty decent but not the best. Fire / Steel does come with more negatives than positives. Little overwhelmed by the fact I could construct a well-defined mapping between my Sinnoh legendaries (including multiplicity) and the number of different non-legendary Sinnoh Pokemon I have.
lol they are incredibly unfair. I usually have to cheat the system to win. Sometimes this involves sticking at the edge and getting them to fall if they don't have great recovery (e.g. Ganondorf on the SF stage). In other cases like the Victini Incineroar challenge where he launches you really easily AND starts out with a final smash, I use a level 99 Xerneas and start out as metal and giant, and even then I have to exploit by getting lucky enough to dodge the final smash.
@thesilverbrick Twilight Princess was already playable on the Wii U through backward compatibility. And to some extent this is the case with many other games. I used to be an advocate remakes due to limited availability of Gamecube games at retail stores during the Wii U era, but to this day there are still dozens of Wii games found all over the place. You could easily find any first party Wii game for $20, and I find the SD graphics to vary negligibly to HD graphics compared to previous generational changes, so having all of these remakes for games that were released in the past 12 years just feel off.
It's a 1.5-mile hike to my local Gamestop (found far in the depths of a mall). It turns out that I do not have the willpower to travel the cold, damp 90-minute round-trip journey.

That's a shame. I was hoping it would be earlier in October so I could play the game on the days leading up to Halloween rather than the days after.

Re: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Launch Sales Were Actually 56% Higher Than On Wii U, Not 24.8%
