StarCraft, Guitar Hero, and Portal are all better picks to be inducted. As for the AC franchise, better picks include Wild World, New Leaf, and New Horizons. WW for its portability and how it popularized the franchise. NL for its innovation in content that not even NH has reached. NH for its impact on the community during the pandemic and how it's been mainstreamed and recognizable by the general public (although that Jeopardy episode has my doubts).
Adding more sword characters has reduced creativity in character design. It always disappoints me to see another character introduced whose primary move set is almost identical to a quarter of the roster. Even if I like the character, the experience feels like an overpriced Mii costume than something fun to look forward to.
Fire n Ice is one of the only games I ever played growing up on a physical NES, and I thought it was a blast. One of the best puzzle games on the system, just like Solomon's Key. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try!
I was actually thinking about this the other week, how most people (especially now) are playing these games remotely rather than all at the same place how it's meant to. And I'm sure most people experience some sort of lag or delay, and that a natural next step for Jackbox is to allow players a better way to play this way.
Interviewer: We're trying to show kids that it's fun to play games but you got to go to school to do things like that. Comment on that. Employee: I just found this job out of college...
@redpanda0310 There's normally no alcohol in sparkling cider (and even you make it by fermenting, there's so little it's negligible). It's essentially carbonated apple juice, and you could find it in some place outside the alcohol section in your local grocery stores.
EDIT: I need to add that this is the case in the United States. Over here, when someone says cider, you generally assume it's non-alcoholic unless they specify "hard cider" or the person asking you if you want some looks like someone who drinks beer.
I was a 3rd-year comp sci major at a top university when I applied last year, but they never even got back to me... Really wish I could re-apply but I have to look for full-time jobs now.
This is actually exactly what happened to me. I started investing in stocks less than 2 stocks after playing ACNH. I was slightly too late to benefit from the mid-March stock crash, but I've managed to accumulate over $1000 in only a few months.
2/12 yet I've completed Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Samus Returns in the past 2 years... at least I memorized all the maps and where the power upgrades are.
In retrospect, we now know that the website was taken down because of the port. I'll keep this in mind the next time a subdomain gets suddenly taken down.
This is probably one of - if not the - most important indie games of all time. I definitely recommend everyone to buy this and play this at some point in their lives.
@Tasuki As a teenager the Wii U was all I had. I didn't have any money to buy anything else. My household even used the same chunky TV for almost 20 years. After moving to college and taking up a job, I was shocked that I could buy a 1080p smart TV after just a single paycheck at a minimum wage part-time job.
Just what the fans have always wanted. Things that have already been released in other incarnations but not what is currently accessible. Even if Nintendo filled all of these demands for the Switch, this fake direct could be released in a decade for a new Nintendo console and people in the comments would still say "Come on Nintendo. Give us what we want."
Spring Man: main character but already assist trophy Ninjara: appeals to kids but already a ninja character (Greninja) Helix: safest character and goofy Min Min: very neutral character and fan favorite
Twintelle is a fan favorite. But other than her, any other character would seem out of left field to absolutely everyone.
@nessisonett The action in Animal Crossing do not deplete natural resources. Before the Agricultural Revolution, this is how every human had been collecting resources for nearly 200 thousand years. Fishing and catching bugs for personal gain is just what every other animal does. It is only when done on a large business scale where we fish out thousands of fish a day when it becomes a problem. As for chopping trees, the player is punished for having few trees so it is balanced. I believe most people overestimate the effect just one individual has on their surroundings.
People buy these kinds of games for the roleplay. On the subreddits, all I see are people wondering which characters are playable. It doesn't matter what the gameplay is like.
Correct if I'm wrong, but this is the first time in Pokemon history that a Shiny Celebi can be legitimately obtained. A Shiny Celebi has been a dream of mine since Explorers of Time / Space.
That's actually a really interesting response I did not expect to hear. Usually, when you hear about regional redesigns, it's for cultural reasons, but here they took the climate into account toward bringing a safe experience for families.
