I disagree, Paper Mario doesn't need a HD port - it still looks amazing. Just finished playing it on Friday for the first time on a 40inch TV and the Keico HDMI Adapter for the GameCube.
just got Paper Mario (Gamecube) - bought it from Ebay for 50€ plus 15€ shipping costs. Original PAL release in actually great condition (didn't expect that) and reproduction cover and case in Spanish (it was offered on Ebay France but came from Spain, Malaga ) - I am quite happy, cause here in Germany you have to pay at least 120€ to 150€ and above for a copy.
Can't wait to play it - I actually beat Origami King on Thurstday and liked it a lot (I didn't mind the battle system - kinda liked it actually.) So let me see, if Paper Mario - A Thousand Year Door is really that great.
I started to play Kami Kind a few days ago and love it. But I also love Color Splash, Sticker Star, Paper Jam and have never played the N64 and GameCube version (because TTYD is way too expensive right now). Love these games as well as the Mario and Luigi games. Paper Mario doesn't need to be like Mario and Luigi games, in my opinion.
@roy130390 @DMH love the series too and played through all games and getting the true endings. The challenge is to get high kudos which makes you play the games differently compared to Megaman games
True - love the series and read it with my two sons (4 and 6) - they love it too. The Metal Virus Saga was great and quite long. Hope that IDW will give Megaman a shot - Flynn was a great writer on both Megaman and Sonic and my sons and I love the crossovers between Sonic and Megaman
Great that we finally be able to play the second installment on a Nintendo console. Loved the first one. Wasn't that hard. Bloodstained Curse of the moon 2 on veteran after stage 4 is hard but still fun to play
Because of Alwa's Legacy's review I bought Alwa's Awakening and wasn't disappointed. Took me 14hrs for 100% - great little gem! Especially for 7€ can't wait for Alwa's Legacy!
Thanks for the reminder - just bought Alan's awakening which is on sake for 6.99 can't wait to play that after just beating Mario Sunshine (only 110 stars - don't care about the rest of the blue coins)
Now Doom 3 needs motion controls this article made me play more of Doom 1 and the first level of Doom 3's expansion pack. Love the doom games and am still waiting for Eternal.
Did I miss something? I didn't see any news about Mario Kart 9. The RC version looks like fun, but we know so little - how long does it take to charge a kart and how long does it drive with one charge? If it is depleted after 30-40 min that would be a bummer. Otherwise to play that game that long you need to change your course a lot, I guess. Still nice, and I would have a lot of space to play that here, but I am not fully convinced. The beginning of this trailer really made me think of finally getting Mario Kart 9.
Not a fan of the art style either, kinda like the original look - gladly you can play that on the Genesis Mini. Thus said, I will still keep an eye on this one - the game is really good
Not impressed but I couldn't care less. Have plenty to play. Right now I am half way through Starfox Adventures on Gamecube. Haven't played through since its release. Great game
I actually would have preferred a sequel and not a remake because I played Monster World IV one the Genesis mini recently. But let's see what changes they implemented
That game was actually teased at the end of Monster Boy - as far as I am concerned Monster Boy is part of the Wonder Boy adventure games. It not only has cameos of some characters of the WB franchise - you can actually see all the heroes of the prior games in the chapel's windows. Thus said, can't wait for the WB / MB sequel
Well - I loved Skyward Sword and after replaying Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on the Gamecube and currently playing Four Swords Adventures - I would gladly replay Skyward Sword on the Switch
Hey - unfortunately we don't have pawn shops here in Germany - at least not that I know of. Thus said, you made an awesome deal getting paper mario for a dollar!
I actually didn't. I am trying to get hold of the GameCube version but it is going for a small fortune right now. But eventually I will play it nevertheless I had a lot of fun with Color Splash and Sticker Star and Mario and Luigi and Paper Mario
That's about devices - the GC loader doesn't rip games. You can use your Wii to rip your GameCube games and that is not illegal unless you deem the Wii an illegal copying device
I cancelled my preorder - too expensive and not one single game that is compelling for me. Thus said, never had a coregrafx, so nostalgia is not a thing for me. But the line up just doesn't attract me. I always have been a Nintendo guy
wel I played it solo last year and had a blast. I think Inti did a great job - never missed the multiplayer. Spent between 30 and 40 hrs with the empress. Loved it and will return to play that game with a new character. I assume that withe the latest patches that the game will feel different - because I dropped out of the game before they changed the game using coins. Have to take a look at that. Nevertheless, I can recommend the game to anyone who loves Inti Games and probably games like Diablo 3. I actually had more fun and played more Dragon Marked for Death than Diablo O.o
Why are ten bucks for a couple of games too much. I love Mega Man games and I am still willing to pay 50 € for each game. Received my imported copy of the zx collection today, which is more expensive than digital. I also bought the re release of Mega Man 2 for over 100 bucks on the blue NES even though I still have the original Nes cartridge and the collection as well as Mega Man 2 on the mini. Mega Man is my favorite game series.
Btw: don't think the price been too high. It's not inferior to a Metroid game which is usually full priced. Nes games in the 80s weren't cheaper either and they didn't last as long. Don't know why people are not willing to pay for games anymore. I gladly pay fully price for games that I want.
Hope we will get a sequel - I bought the game immediately after playing Wondboy in Monster World and Monster World 4 on the Genesis/Mega Drive mini. Really loved all the allusions to the prequels in Monster Boy.

Re: Random: These Nintendo Box Art Wood Carvings Are Simply Sensational

What a coincidence how far are you? Chapter 8 was longer than I expected and the final boss was quite difficult.

What about battery life or how long does a charge hold? Would be annoying to recharge your car ever 40 minutes.

Ha - same here - had it in my wishlist since release - as far as I know there hasn't been a price drop till two days ago

Ups - autocorrect made me write German instead of Eggman
Re: Paramount Locks In 2022 Release Date For Sonic The Hedgehog's Movie Sequel
@DoktorTotenKopf
I disagree, he was nothing like German - he played the character as any other Jim Carrey character. The rest - especially Sonic - was enjoyable

Great - loved the first one except for Jim Carrey
