Re: You Can Start Building Your Nintendo Account Family Group Ahead Of The Switch Online Launch

Hmm ... I understand the answer a bit differently. The question is about users, but in the answer they are talking about different accounts within a family. The way I understand it is that different users belong to one account holder (again e.g. dad and two kids -> 3 users -> one account holder and thus just one membership required). I assume that Nintendo misunderstood users as in 3 people using one switch with 3 different accounts and not 3 people sharing one account by having 3 profiles.

Or that is wishful thinking from my part

As far as I understood it, if you have one account you just have to pay 20 € regardless of the number of users connected to that account. Which makes sense to me cause you can only be logged in on one system at a time. Same with the users. So people having one switch but more users (e.g. Dad plus two kids) should therefore only buy the 20€ subscription. The 35€ option is more likely for a household of more switches or people having more accounts (not the same as users).
Maybe Nintendo should clarify that using visuals.
I don't think I need to spend more for my Russian Eshop user under mmain account

Re: Editorial: Wii Remote Pointer vs. Switch Gyro Controls - The Resident Evil Test

NintendoPete

I use motion controls in RE Revelations 2 all the time and like it. But, as mentioned in the article, sometimes I find myself directing the Joy Con at a strange angle which makes my aiming way off. I really try to point straight ahead just like in RE 4 Wii and then it's as good. Don't see why motion controls via gyro aiming shouldn't be as good as pointer aiming like in Metroid Prime 3. They could implement a rectangle and when you move the crosshair pass the border you just turn around - no big difference between these two methods of aiming. I personally would prefer that over stick controlled aiming. Always.

@crackafreeze
now I understand. Wasn't fond of these kind of games myself until I played Ghost Recon Shadow Wars on the 3DS. An absolutely gem on that system. And Mario+Rabbids just looks like hilarious fun. If it is just your taste - then play something different. For my part, I just don't understand how people like Monster Hunter or Xenoblade - I am more of a Mega Man, Platformer and Zelda player myself (and NES).

How much is the European version in € ? I've got the starter pack preordered from Amazon.co.jp for 54€ (shipping costs included) but I will gladly wait a couple of weeks if I can get the cartridge for 15-20€ less. There are so many games to play (Mario + Rabbids, Metroid: Samus returns) and the SNES mini is coming out as well.

I have two pre ordered and gonna sell one to a colleague's husband for retail price. I am just happy to help out and help others enjoying video games. I grew up with the NES and never owned a SNES so I can't wait to play a lot of games I have never played. Luckily I managed to get two preorders and also two NES minis of which I also sold one for retail price (actually to the same guy ) - still don't get Nintendo why they just do not want to meet demand.

@Kai_ @NapalmPsalm
Thanks, but did I miss where these changes are mentioned in the game? So, personally, it doesn't make any sense using stealth jump because why should I not jump next to an opponent ? Otherwise I wouldn't need stealth jump. Well then, I am gonna use ink safer or speed up next to stealth swim.

Re: Guide: Splatoon 2 - Adding, Removing and Picking Abilities

NintendoPete

I love stealth jump but in Splatoon 2 I have the feeling that it doesn't work properly because everytime there is my landing point shown on the ground an 1-2 enemies trying to splat me - most of the time successfully and I don't know why they know I am landing on that spot. None of them had abilities that let them see me. I just don't know why it doesn't work? Anybody else experiencing that issue?

@Rebusmind

Same here - I had to type in: Nintendo Clssic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System - otherwise no luck finding the link

@Sligeach_Eire

I know it is more expensive but the price will hopefully drop when Amazon Germany realizes that is way higher than Nintendo's recommended price. On the other hand - Amazon UK 's 80 punds plus delivery costs are almost as much.
