Re: Poll: Do You Like The Chibi Art Style In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl?

Natsura

I for one love the chibi artstyle. It looks just fine to me. I mean it is a remake of the original games afterall. Besides it is made by a company that is probably more used to making smartphone apps, so I when I heard that ILCA was developing it I knew this is probably the best we could have hoped for. And I don't mind it. TBH I like the artstyle of Link's Awakening on the Switch. It makes for a cute lil' game to hold us over till Pokemon Legends Arceus releases in early 2022.

Re: Zelda Remake Specialist Grezzo Appears To Have Helped Out With Miitopia's Nintendo Switch Port

Natsura

I don't have a crapload of Miis on my Switch (notably only one, and that is based off of me)... what will the game do if a player only has ONE Mii on their system? Will the player be forced to spend HOURS creating Miis just to play this game?

I mean it was REALLY good on the 3DS because it was so easy to get other Miis (QR Codes, Streetpass, etc...) but the Switch doesn't have any of those features.

Re: Random: Finally, Someone Made Ramen For Gamers

Natsura

@JasmineDragon Exactly! I believe we should all be like humans from Star Trek. You don't see many humans vomitting at the sight of Ga'gh~! Afterall it might like gross, but who knows... maybe it actually tastes rather good.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Christmas Special)

Natsura

Mainly Animal Crossing: New Horizons (the flowers have really been taking over the main part of my island, so I gotta get them back under control like I did on my Main Street).

But I will also be playing some Immortals: Fenyx Rising on my Nintendo Switch, and maybe some Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as well.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 10.0.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Natsura

probably only going to play it or 2 hours, then get bored... so far none of the DLC fighters and whatnot have made me really want to get into the competitive nature of Smash, and without any real life friends to play smash with on a regular basis.. I get real bored of fighting CPU opponents. so i am sad to say that Smash has dropped from one of my favourite titles to one of my least favourite Nintendo titles.

If Nintendo releases a 3rd fighters pass in the future/a new Smash Bros. game for their next console then I am probably going to have to give it a pass.

Re: Sephiroth From Final Fantasy VII Joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate This Month

Natsura

I don't really have an interest in Final Fantasty. I am happy for those that are excited, but for me... this is just a waste of space for me. I am not going to tune to Sakurai's demonstration of this character. I have 0 history with the Final Fantasy game series. I know literally NOTHING about the series.

Heck, I don't really know who Sephiroth is to begin with besides the fact that he comes from a game called, "Final Fantasy."

My girlfriend on the other hand is going to be excited when she wakes up, and sees that this character was announced. (Long-distance relationship. I live in NJ and she lives in Switzerland.) So I am happy for people like her that do enjoy the Final Fantasy series, but again for me... I only really have ties to Nintendo, and I never really saw the Final Fantasy series as enjoyable.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Turkey Day - Franklin, Thanksgiving DIY Recipes, Secret Ingredients And Rewards

Natsura

@dugan yeah this game might be my favourite game of all time as well, and I have been playing it daily since the day it came out.

I am also happy with how this event was handled. I had a hard time getting some of the ingredients like the Scallop, and the Red Snapper, but then again I don't really collect fish too often, nor have I ever really gotten a yellow pumpkin before, but luckily I got a yellow pumpkin from one of my villagers.

Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Is Already The Best-Selling Warriors Game Of All Time

Natsura

@BeautyandtheBeer there are a ton of times when things have gotten REALLY action heavy.

The Federation - Dominion War for one thing (which btw 1.5 billion people die during that war... at least that number applies to Federation troops), then there is the war between the Federation and the Borg, there is also all of the battles Voyager had with the various Kurzon sects in the Delta Quadrant.

There is also the Klingon armies which themselves have had several wars, some of which that have lasted centuries if not even a thousand years at the longest.

Then the Vulcans (yes the peace loving Vulcans) have had a ton of wars between themselves in their very early years, before Sar'rek founded the Vulcan fundamentals of Logic.

(all of the above mentioned includes a ton of battles in of themselves, they weren't all just one battle and the war was over... they all included at least hundreds if not thousands of little squirmishes between territories. Not counting Voyager, but then again the entire trip from the Delta Quadrant to the Alpha Quadrant, had Voyager fight in little sub-wars between a ton of different races that exist only in the Delta Quadrant))

Then there was the Temporal Cold War, which in of itself spans over 10,000 - 1,000,000 years, because of time travel. It even takes place in the early days of humans exploring space.

So while it might seem like a very peaceful show... there is a crapton of action if you know where to look exactly.

Re: Super Mario Bros. 35 Receives Another Update - Fixes, Adjustments And More

Natsura

I tried playing the game myself, but my way of playing the original Mario Bros. doesn't exactly work well in this type of game. I am more comfortable with taking my time with the platforming. Avoiding enemies whenever possible, and trying to reach the goal as well as I could.

So I am usually trying to analyze each of my jumps, and whether or not I should defeat x enemy.

So when I did give this game a try (I tried playing it twice)... I was quickly overwhelmed with enemies within like 20 seconds, and so I don't play this game anymore.

Re: "Nintendo Isn't That Smart": Pachter Says Nintendo Should Scrap Switch And 'Only Have Switch Lite'

Natsura

@sanderev yeah. they might as well report on some other anaylst or stop altogether.

I mean I am not an anaylst, but I probably know more about what he is talking about than he does.

1. Nintendo should keep the hybrid model for their next system.
2. Offer a Pro version either in 2021 or 2022.
3. Nintendo should never listen to Patchter (luckily it seems like they don't even know he exists)

xD

Patchter is just a ***** who happens to get clicks, because news sites like MNN and NL are stupid enough to report on him. This article is just one example of NL being greedy (wanting clicks even though this ain't news)

Re: Anniversary: Pokémon Black And White Are Now 10 Years Old

Natsura

@MajinSoul Black and White were definitely the Wind Waker of the Pokemon community... hated upon release, but now beloved. It just goes to show that at times the fans/consumers can be wrong as hell, and all that is needed is time for something "bad" to be appreciated as great!

Re: There's A New Seasonal Item Available In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Natsura

"Isabelle will also send you a seasonal DIY recipe for a Tree's bounty little tree when you fire the game up this month..."

Yeah, that never happens for me. I never get recipes from her, I had to get that recipe from a balloon. Maybe reword it, so it sounds like she MAY give you the recipe, but if she doesn't then you can get the recipe from balloons.
