Re: Review: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Wii U eShop / SNES)

I think this game was one of my first RPGs back in the day... Yes it was easy, but it was most DEFINITELY fun! I still have the tangible cartridge and the release on the Wii VC. Since I ported all of my old games to my Wii U, it's no biggie. Also, Small Spoiler for those who haven't played it, the Yoshi race is rigged too much against you for the fact that the timing is off because the game is on an emulated system. Kinda sucks...

I'd say go for it. Yeah, it will be an influx of HD remasters, but at least the main crew will have their hands full with something new and awesome, that it won't be totally taken for granted. As for a Galaxy 1/2HD remake with the console, and it was done on the first Christmas it was released, Nintendo could've been printing money right now!

Sold! I just plunked 30 hours into Final Fantasy 7 over Turkey Day weekend(black Friday sale that crashed the Squeenix store servers), so by the time this gets released here, I will definitely get it!!

This game REALLY gets the gears going! It makes me think back to my days doing Visual Basic at ITT Tech. It can be a true headscratcher if you're not careful. The music is somewhat generic techno, but it's not annoying. You almost have to think like a computer to help solve the computer logic that it throws at you. I recommend this game to anybody that's mathematically inclined.

@shani Here's the thing that REALLY spoiled it for me on Skyward Sword, especially during the second playthrough. As a player, with a function brain(at times), I don't want to be told useless information that I already know! Plus, the entire game was nothing more than a glorified scavenger hunt. Seriously? Not my Zelda.
