@Smash_kirby My thing is, I know it's their IP, I know it's their right, but I PROMISE you, other people are taking donations and doing something in the neighborhood of this. It really struck a chord with me because I've been following this series ever since almost a decade ago on Newgrounds and have loved this series ever since. Plus, doing cool stuff like this cost a LOT of time, effort, resources, as well as finances.

I know it shouldn't be excused for what he did, but dude. Being a graphic artist is brutal when you have all of these cool ideas, but no type of resources or help...

I'm glad I have the XL. The whole deal of it not coming with a power cable was nothing to me because a buddy of mine went through 2 or 3 DSi XLs and I had power cables to spare. My only gripe is the resolution of the screen. Which reminds me. Can't wait for the Revealing 4 months from now...

@Tempestryke Ugh, the subrosian dance hall. Only beatable on the ORIGINAL hardware on which it was made. Emulation? Nope Virtual Console? HA! A lot of timed button presses that are supposed to be in sync with the game are impossible if the software is emulated in ANY form!

I still wished Crapcom released this as a DS exclusive. It's a good game with unforgettable music, but ultimately feels like a step backwards.

I wouldn't compare this to really major games on the Wii U. It's simple, short and sweet. Plus, it works, which is kudos to the programmer. Remember, even Pong was simple, too.

In retrospect, I kinda wished they called it the "Super 3DS" with the beefed up processor and GPU... And give the American version the Fuchsia/Lavender button combination just like the SNES in the 90s. Good times...

@GammaNoises Exactly!! As I said in a recent post, HD games are costly and take forever to make. If it releases this year, it will have an even worse lineup than the Wii U did!

Wow... With Sony, their stuff's GREAT, but the cost of maintaining is staggering. Meanwhile, with Nintendo, their stuff's decent, but at least it's not running in the red. My question is, what would happen if $ony gets TOO far in the red...?

Minor gripe, but it would be nice if it was 60fps...

Personally, with the NX on the horizon, I hope that they at least do this. Build all of the Wii U games that are in the creation and planning stages and finish them. Then, as the NX gets popular, use the Wii U as a retro machine to still somewhat get their money's worth. That should at least keep the Wii U going for at least 3 more years... Just an idea.
