Is the "Tales of" series any good ?
I have Tales of the Abyss for my 3DS but couldn't get past 19 hours because I got bored and confused by the names they used for everything.
The map didn't have the town names either so I got lost (at least I couldn't find them) and it kinda felt like a lazy port.
I usually love RPG but maybe I wasn't in the mood for it at the time. How does the new game stack up against it ?

It's more or less the same as a 3DS, right ? Better than expected. (6 hours !)

I think they were probably working on this while making XCX and will be working on making XCX2 when XC2 is nearly done.
At least I hope so. XCX was amazing !

I want this game in the west. I'd get it day 1.
I put over 400 hours in Monster Hunter 4U and over 200 hours in Monster Hunter Generations so far and I'm not tired of the series.

I did stop playing but that's because I mostly did all I wanted to do already. I still try out the new DLC when they come out.

Looks good to me but I need to see a little more before I decide.
I'd like to learn more about crafting and the purpose of expending the village.
I'd like to see a multiplayer mode of some kind. Maybe a online boss rush mode since I don't think it would be very fun going around solving puzzles with random people.

I already pre-ordered it a while ago. I hope they release some cool DQ themes with the game !

I hope it's Broken Age. I haven't played yet and would like to play it on my TV instead of PC. But I'm sure that's not it.

Got mine and transferred them to pokebank! I didn't bother resetting for good ones.

I want :

A better and more engaging story

More pokemon and mega evolutions

Make HM into TM and make them not work outside of battles. Just replace their abilities with items.

Rework stats on the pokemon that can't really compete in online battles. Make more pokemon viable for these type of battles.

Difficulty option (Normal or Veteran mode)

More customization. Not only your character or cloths but also your pokeball (I want to color them) and pokemon. (Battle poses or breedable "traits" like a different tail or something)

Remove IV and rework EV so that you can still make low speed pokemon without the 0 IV, etc ...

An ONLINE battle frontier with inverse battles, rental pokemon, etc ...

A better GTS

LBX 2 and Monster Hunter Stories ! Come on !!!

A Pokemon Warriors game could be pretty cool !

I'd like Pixar to make a Pikmin movie. I really liked the Pikmin movies I bought on the eShop.

@Trinexx Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon solves that with the "connection" system where you do missions to recruit, or find traveling pokemon in dungeons (they tell you where they are), even just talking to certain pokemon in town recruits them. Thanks to that I completed the game 100% getting every pokemon, treasures, etc ... Took me a little over 120 hours. It's a great game. Give it a try

@Ralizah I wanted to buy that when it came out but I was short on cash for it and the reviews turned me off.

I tried the EO demo for one of the 3ds games and I didn't really like it.
It's a bid weird because I love the pokemon mystery dungeons series which is sort of similar to this but not really.

I didn't post on the negative stock market articles so I wouldn't sound like a troll or defending Nintendo's honor or something like that. I'd like to see articles about games.
There wasn't even an article for the tiny bit of news for the Monster Tale Ultimate port we're getting.

I agree on no voice chat for the sequel. Voice chat can get mean, gross and even disturbing. At least from my experience with my x360.
And don't tell me to turn it off. It puts you and your team at a disadvantage. If you absolutely need it then only for playing friends or something.

I'll be getting Blue and using the ditto glitch to get all the unavailable pokemon. I'll finally complete the pokedex in that game ! I might get Yellow next year if I feel like doing another nostalgia trip.

I hope they don't go for it. I don't want all my games to be first person.

It really really sucks that they had to go and do this. I don't live in the US but I do have a NA version of the game and a NA 3DS. I can't go to gamestop or whatever.
I already have all the pokemon from trading but I still would have liked to get a good Mew with my nametag on it.
At least most of the other legendary are being distributed from the internet ...

I guess that felt they could avoid complains about the costume by changing it. People seem easily offended by such things to be honest.

What I don't get is WHY people are still talking about this ?? I'm sure most of you are not even Native American. They don't need you to defend them, they can defend themselves if they feel this offended them !

@ToniK I think it's your connection. I've had very few disconnect problems after over 280 hours of gameplay and most of those were my internet connection giving out. Online missions gets really laggy sometimes, but not online nemesis battles for some reasons.

My wallet is ready, but only as soon as you release the new animal crossing game ...

I wish Nintendo Life would stop reporting on this sort of thing. An emulator is the same as piracy to me since you're supposed to BUY the hardware to play the games.
I wouldn't care as much if this was an emulator for an old console but I still wouldn't want them to report on it.
I'm kinda disappointed with Nintendo Life over these type articles.

Why does NintendoLife keep posting this kind stuff ? I don't like piracy or homebrew. (which sometimes leads to piracy)

An emulator is still piracy to me even if you somehow buy the game since they expect you do buy their console too.
If this was for a console that wasn't still being sold then I wouldn't care but I don't like this.
Did the guy at least buy a copy of shovel knight ? They made the game and deserve to be payed for it. Same for Nintendo.

It was a fantastic Nintendo Direct to me. I wasn't expecting DQ 7 and 8 to be announced ! That was a great surprise

How's the game anyway ? I was under the impression it wasn't very good but recently people are saying otherwise. I'm a bit unsure.

@rjejr They said they wouldn't be simply porting stuff to mobile so I don't think that's happening. At least not for a few years.
