I kinda expect Limited Run to do it at some point, since they did the original collection as a physical for Switch and PS4.

I wouldn't say it's required to play the first one before II, there are some callbacks, but it's like 99% standalone.

I will say the first is very good, though. I'd recommend playing both, but playing II first isn't going to be detrimental to your overall experience.

At first I kinda didn't like it, but after going through all of the announcements again, there is a lot of stuff I want.

I just wish they got the more samey stuff out of the way all at once, I didn't need to see a lot of the "Headlines" again, and they kinda killed some hype halfway through.

Overall, I gave it a B.

I love these games. Can't wait for the next one to be localized.

Mobile games in general don't interest me. Pokemon Go is fine, but I can't see myself getting invested in another game like it.

It always seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I didn't like the added characters in Super Mario 64 DS.

They basically cut Mario's abilities into thirds and made Luigi and Wario. I always thought it was clunky to have to switch characters just to do something Mario could have done himself in the original game.

I believe that it has aged well, and I prefer the original game to the DS remake by far. I still play it once a year, since it's my favorite game.

I actually still find this game to be the best in the series with the Mini Marios. I like the newer ones, but never quite enjoyed them as much.

The game is fun. I'll get it when they get everything fixed up.

Well-deserved score. Still the best Mario platformer in my opinion, followed closely by Super Mario Sunshine. The Galaxy games are great, but I feel like they lacked the freedom of 64 and Sunshine.

This is the second game I've heard of that stars Frederic Chopin. The other is Eternal Sonata and that looks to be much more entertaining than this.
