Re: Doug Bowser Comments On The Battle Against Joy-Con Drift, Says Nintendo Are Making "Continuous Improvements"

Mario500

"Have you experienced any Joy-Con 'drift' issues in recent times? Do you think Joy-Con reliability has improved over time? Leave a comment down below."

(remembers never having had such "issues" with any "Joy-Con" of mine after having had used them often since the day* I had received them (with a Nintendo Switch system of mine))

Re: Former Mario Movie Star John Leguizamo Isn't Happy With The Casting On The New Film

Mario500

"As you might expect, John Leguizamo - who played Luigi in the 1993 live-action Mario movie – has some words to say about this topic, too. Taking to Twitter, Leguizamo hit out at the lack of variety when it came to the main cast while celebrating the 'groundbreaking colour-blind casting' of the 1993 version (which he incorrectly says is the 'original', which seems to suggest he thinks this new film is a reboot)."

(finds the part of this part of the article between parentheses to had been unfair and unnecessary)

"I love that a Bomberman game is getting content, but do I get the new content if I actually PURCHASED Bomberman R at launch? I'm a little annoyed that something I bought went free to play."

(wonders about whether this message was posted in regards to to two different games (with certain names different from each other (Super Bomberman R and Super Bomberman R Online)) or not)

Mario500

"Hey, who the heck would notice a borked and stretched Sonic, amirite?! says the chubby Sonic lover who's always turned their nose up at the hedgehog's lanky model in the 3D games. Don't worry, we'll chase the joyless 3D Sonic hater off the premises post haste."

(finds this part of the article to had been unnecessary, insulting, negative, and detrimental)

Re: Super Bomberman R Online Blasts Its Way To 3 Million Downloads

Mario500

@OorWullie

"I would be playing a few rounds of this most days, if not for the ridiculous load times. Bomberman Online on WiiWare was the same. The game is great fun too. It'll be a shame if they don't fix it. They need to be drastically reduced though."

(wonders about whether the "Bomberman Online" mentioned in this message was a reference to a certain Bomberman Blast game or not)

Re: Random: The Official Kirby Website Briefly Had A Kafka-esque Section

@PessitheMystic

"Also, if you want to get right down to it, using Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka almost verbatim then calling it 'Kafka-esque' is pretty stupid."

(remembers this part of the article:)

"Random: The Official Kirby Website Briefly Had A Kafka-esque Section"

(does not believe in using the word "stupid" to describe an act of calling or describing a section as "Kafka-esque")

"Pardon?"

(wishes to have understanding of the "Geoff Keighley" mentioned in this message: "Reggie was always a master at side-stepping Geoff Keighley's constant barbs about Nintendo not having games for "the hardcore" or not belonging on the same level as the other hardware companies.")

"Bombuzal – Strategically detonate every bomb in each level while leaving yourself a safe place to stand when the dust settles. In this puzzle game, you’ll have to be quick, because time is short. Just make sure you remember to take the size of each explosion into account, or it could blow a hole in all your careful planning. Good luck, and have a blast!"

(remembers having had known this game as Kablooey and having had played it several times (with enjoyment))

Re: Here's Why That NES Zelda Sold For $870,000, According To The Guy Who Designed The Packaging

Mario500

(suggests different version of a certain part of the article):

The original Zelda has been in the news lately due to reports of a sealed and mint copy having had been sold for $870,000. Tales from the Collection got in touch with Girvin and asked him why he thought the game had received that price:"

(finds these parts of the article to have had been unnecessary (in addition to having had found them to have had been opinionated)):

It's a pretty deep answer, and we're not sure it quite explains away why such a common game has sold for such a high value when copies are readily available at lower prices (and it's also available digitally), but Girvin could well be on to something here. If Zelda is your favourite game of all time and you happen to have a spare $870,000 lying around that you don't need, it's plausible that you might feel like dropping all of that cash on the best possible copy of the game you can find. We're not saying we'd do it personally, but we can (kinda) see the thought process. Kinda."

"Now, how much do you think a sealed copy of Zelda signed by the man behind the famous cutaway box would fetch at auction? Answers on a postcard (or in the comments below, either is good)."
