At the very least, if not a sequel to Doom, give us a collection with all Three (yes even the third one) classics and port of Doom 64.

Wasn't Outlast 1 made an older Unreal Engine? And didn't those devs port their game within months?

They have released a few games as Japan only (Dragon Quest heroes 1+2, Mana collection) along with not giving much care for porting some of their multi platform titles such as the Secret of Mana remake (although admittedly its not a great game). They also spent time releasing some of their biggest titles to ios instead of the Switch (Life is strange, Final Fantasy XV).

I've always said the Switch can handle a lot of good looking games. It's only a matter of whether a developer wants to give us those good looking games. Capcom and Square are the biggest culprits sadly.

@ricklongo keywords are back then. Now they add difficulty as if its cool. I guess some people like that I guess, and it's fine, but making every game that way just because Dark Souls did it seems lame.

@TheBraveFencer I've been using hori controllers since the ps2 Era, and they have always made good dpads. Even their hori pad for the switch, as monstrous as it looks, is actually great to use. I do agree that the location of the camera button seems a bit off

This looks sweet, but I hope it isn't as dull as other Indie games I've been burned by on the Switch. Kamiko is one of my biggest regrets this generation

What was anyone expecting when this game looked just as bad as its iPhone equivalent? And even on there they had years to improve and patch the issues but didn't

Been waiting long enough for Hollow. Now we just need all the other rumored horror games!

@OorWullie there was that wiiu exclusive Fatal Frame game, and there have been rumors that the Steam indie title Project Scissors was supposed to come to the switch... But no word on if that is ever coming.

Looks alright, but I wish we'd get a AAA horror title soon... Heck I'd settle for a remaster of the WiiU Fatal Frame game.

I kinda wish Climax Studios (the guys behind the awesome, Wii timed exclusive, Silent Hill shattered memories) would make another horror title for the Switch!

Agreed with the top two, though I'd lean more towards fusion than Zero mission regarding Metroid.
Final Fantasy Tactics advance would be higher up on my list tho - criminally under rated game on the Gba & greatest of all time lists

Ok so this was a pretty decent Direct. Obviously wasn't as amazing as say they had announced a Metroid Prime Trilogy Remaster, Virtual Console, or even Resident Evil 7/ Final Fantasy 15 ports,
but Hyrule warriors (which I missed out on and will buy day one!), Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, and Dark Souls are pretty good announcements, plus we get a Mario Tennis (yay!) and finally a release date for Kirby.

World ends with you final mix was the most unexpected (and appreciated) port ever lol.

Good for those of us who never owned a wii u, so yay for me

I'd love a gold edition this year with all dlc included for those of us who haven't bought the game yet

Love these guys and their controllers but I absolutely love how much they listen to their customers and release updates frequently.

And here we are with anamazing port of Doom 2016 for the switch. I actually loved the gba port of doom as well. Wonder why no one talks about that game

@DEZn00ts I agree, Resident Evil would be SWEET on the Switch. After playing Doom (which was amazing on the Switch) and Resident Evil Revelations 1+2 I have no doubts Resident Evil 7 would look amazing. Sure they may have to cut down on the graphics a bit but I am sure it could run smoothly. I mean Skyrim looks friggin amazing too!

You know what would be cool? Resident evil 7 because you made Nintendo add that delicious 4gb of ram for the game... Might as well finally port it amirite?
