Re: 2017 Game Boy Platformer Tobu Tobu Girl Is Aiming For A Deluxe Game Boy Color Re-Release

@Trajan considering this is a Nintendo site, one would argue the interest of Nintendo's current handhelds makes more sense than dead ones, or rivals like iPhones or Galaxy phones.. But whatever floats your boat.
Since I am a 3ds and Switch owner I'd rather not spend on a long dead handheld for the sake of a single game made for it now. And that's why I'd like to see it remade or remastered for the Switch (since we all know the 3ds is also a dying platform).

@Medic_alert well let's agree to disagree regarding holding off on characters that are actually on the disk, and charging for them. And I'm more than aware of how expensive and risky games have become, I still don't think dlc exclusivity is a good practice. I can understand having a character dlc launch later on that needed more coding or whatever but holding off a game franchise staple like Shang Tsung, playable in almost every MK title after 2, is just greedy.

@Medic_alert your comment makes no sense in relation to mine. I mentioned a full roster of characters and not having to pay to unlock characters already present in the game at launch, as opposed to having budgets or whatever.

I guess you think it's totally justified to have to pay for stuff already in the game but hidden behind preorders or dlc vouchers via retailer exclusivity?

Re: Rumour: Best Buy Hides 'Leaked' Switch Games From Public View, But It Might Not Be Over Yet

Metroid Prime Trilogy is pretty much confirmed at this point, we just need Nintendo to confirm it officially, but the real question is when?
Why wait all the way until E3 when you can make mad money now?

A link to the past makes me think it's the start of a Snes classics series for the Switch as digital downloads and they will probably release them as vouchers as well. Maybe.
I mean they had a similar release strategy during the Wii so it sorta makes sense

Re: Talking Point: What Does Google's Stadia Mean For Nintendo And The Future Of Gaming?

Everyone seems to forget that the "this is the future of gaming" tag line was also applied to the Ouya, N-Gage, Atari Jaguar, and the legendary Gizmondo. We all know how well they were received.
Also, let's not forget 75% of the world barely has fibre optic internet, let alone stable internet connections without data caps. Yeah, It's safe to say Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft have nothing to worry about for now.

Re: Kid Icarus And StarTropics Join The Switch Online NES Library This Month

I don't get the drip-feed of Nes classics.
It's not like they don't have HUNDREDS of them in their back library of the e-shop.
And since they made their millions off the Wii/WiiU/3ds eshop, you'd think they could just drop us a couple more per month.
Hell, I don't even know why they haven't started us off with other consoles yet, it's not like they need to invest that much into the software side (hidden Snes emulation code and all in the Switch)
