@exopiscea pffft. Why stop at that? Why not GTA V and all DLC, and Kingdom Hearts "The story so far" which has all of the games in one package, and the Mass Effect trilogy!

That's nice... Now port Resident Evil 7 and Resident evil 2 remaster, and Kingdom Hearts 3 to the Switch, Panic button!
And while you are at it, the Proper Final Fantasy XV, Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain, The Life is strange series... Etc....

Good news! I hope they give other nes classics (and other consoles eventually?) this treatment. Maybe new layouts for maps or upgrades for Metroid?

It's actually not as bad as this reviewer is making It out to be. I've played both the full game and this pocket edition (albeit on mobile) and I have to say this version does a lot right by cutting the fat. It's also really fun to play.
The only thing that really does make this version seem a bit over priced is that the vanilla version of the full game can be had for close to this game's price and now dlc exists and loads of new story elements have been added. For those not interested in all of that and have never played the game before, it's not a bad way to experience the game. But frankly if you have any of the other consoles, play the full game. At least you have optional dlc

If Nes classics is just the beginning and we will see more consoles added to the mix then I'm fine with it. If this is all they plan to release, I'd rather they stick to mini classic consoles and give us something else for our money...

I mean I'm all up for more portable horror games, but so far they all look so generic.
Why can't we get something like Clock Tower or Remothered on Switch?

And here I was talking to my childhood friends who I played this game with about how cool it would be if Square released this for the Switch... Whattaya know. Color me excited

Starlink isn't exclusive to the Switch though, and they haven't given us much beyond remakes or multi platform releases.
Hopefully they can give us some more Switch exclusive games?

Switch needs some 3rd party exclusives badly.

I mean I'm all for more horror games for the Switch... But this one I think we can all live without.

I hope at some point companies start porting over all the amazing wii ware titles that remain stuck in Wii Eshop limbo (like the amazing Rebirth Konami games).

So Panic button are now somehow Gods of gaming? How the heck are they pumping out AAA title after AAA title while all the major developers can't even get their games to work (looking at you WWE 2k and Resident Evil 7 Cloud Edition)?

@DeathUriel you know I was talking about them releasing games for the Switch... 3ds at this point is on its last legs so I'd assume the next handheld may not focus on 3d maybe?

Couldn't Nintendo just release these games without the 3d aspect? I mean emulators exist that combine the two images into one for 2d displays so we could see these games Ala virtual console... Or you know someone could port this emulator to actual vr capable devices like android/ios handsets?

This game is about as exciting as watching paint dry. It's 3.99 on android/ios and even that's asking a lot for this generic rpg... But they aren't charging that much on the switch, and they've added absolutely nothing to justify the price. I'd give it 0.5/10. There's plenty better jrpgs on every single platform this game "graces" with its bland gameplay.
